The location was fantastic. The Coylet Inn is a beautiful historical inn run by. Friendly staff who are also very helpful and obliging. I have dietary requirements and the owners and staff were very accommodating to adjust the menu so that I could eat without any problems. The glamming pod we stayed in was clean, cosy and had lovely views. As well as the veranda sitting area overlooking Loch Eck, on the side we could watch the birds and squirrels in the garden and their is a Pine wooded area around the back. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would hope to stay there again in future. Any thanks for a wonderful experience and stay.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the property. We had to move a large floor light as it was too close to the TV but that was no problem.

Great old property (1650!!) with loads of character and in a fabulous position by the loch. Our room was on the back so we couldn’t see the loch but there was a fallen tree which had a wildlife feeding station on it and we saw a red squirrel which made our day!

The nature of the old building means that there is a very tight spiral stair to get to the room. It added to the atmosphere but could have been tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Also, our room didn’t have a bedside table on one side which would have helped for putting our clock and nighttime water glass on.

my room was so cute and had a beautiful view of the Loch. Fiona was very helpful and even had the kitchen stay open a little later since I was having difficulty finding the inn. I love the history behind this inn dating back to 1650 with a tree out front that has been there forever and is the symbol of the inn. The pub had locals in it who were very kind, and we had some good laughs. the pub has local beer and spirits to try and the restaurant has amazing Chicken and mushroom pie with mash! If you are looking to enjoy Scottish culture and great scenery, I highly recommend!

The stairs are very small and winding making it hard to get heavy luggage up. Fiona helped me and was a champ lifting my heavy luggage. Also, the shower was cold, but I was hot so it didn't matter.

This is a fabulous place to stay. It’s a 17th century inn with modern style in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Eck. The room was clean and comfortable. There are only 4 rooms so very homely. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which had an excellent menu. The hotel has a small bar which was ideal - staff and other customers welcoming - it felt like visiting someone at home. A lovely way to round off the evening. Breakfast was lovely and again a good range of options. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

There was nothing we didn’t like but for some people the stairs might be a bit steep.

Serene and picturesque location, nice building, cozy, clean "pod" with lots of privacy, incredible food at the restaurant, breakfast included, friendly staff. We were one of the first people to use their new pods and we adored it. Overall, a perfect memory that enhanced our wonderful visit to Scotland.

I accidentally double paid for the stay and I am having a difficult time getting a hold of the staff. I am mostly to blame for this, including my international phone number which doesn't enable me to call easily. Hope to have it resolved soon!

Staff very friendly. The location is out of this world with fabulous views, rain, or shine. Utterly stunning view from both the restaurant and the loch view bedroom. Food was food. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Steak pie I had was lovely and husband loved his chicken burger..

This is more of a warning to those who are less mobile. The stairs up to the bedrooms are carpeted spiral and very narrow. We were ok, but I would not recommend those with any mobility issues. The burger I had was a bit greasy and not what I expected based on the food we had on the first night. On the 2nd morning it seems that a number of guests arrived for breakfast very close together so we had a long wait for our food. All it really would have taken for someone to tell us this, and we would have relaxed and been happy to wait, but we really wondered if we had been forgotten about.

Absolutely lovely place to stay and will defo be back. We stayed in the Two Deer room, great sized room with fantastic views. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both meals were delicious. Will be going back for sure.

Everything was really good. The only comment really would be to have comfier chairs in the bedroom, okay for sitting on for a bit, we sat reading out books in front of the window for a few hours and would have been good to have comfier chairs but apart from that everything was great so only really a small comment.

Excellent accomodation with really friendly staff and customers who make you feel most welcome. A cosy bar where dogs are welcome and a log fire burning giving it a real homely feel. Could quite easily loose a good few hours in there chatting to the staff and customers while petting the different types of friendly dogs. The food is fantastic, so very tasty and plentiful. Of course you have the stunning beauty of Loch Eck as you look out your window from very comfy rooms . If you are looking to have a lovely holiday with the perfect place to stay I would highly recommend The Coylet Inn. Its perfect.

The food in the restaurant for evening meal was lovely and very good value with amazing views over Loch Eck. The breakfast has to be the best I've ever had. The pub banter in the evening was good fun. Very warm and welcoming with log fires. Staff very friendly, welcoming, happy and friendly. The views from the restaurant were very scenic and tranquil. Lots of space outside to sit. Free parking. We were offered use of their kayak from their own private beach/launch area.

The staircase to the bedrooms is 'evil' going up isn't too bad but coming down with cases was scary.

Stunning location, rooms at the front of the property have incredible views over the Loch and hills. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The building had a lovely old feel about it.

Extremely steep stairs leading up to the rooms (due to it being a very old building) which is fine for someone without disabilities but should be considered by anyone frail, injured or disabled thinking about staying here. I wasn’t provided with any towels which I unfortunately didn’t realise until I got out the shower.
