The location was really superb. The buildings were beautiful, there were birds and animals everywhere, very close and lovely to watch kingfishers nesting on the riverbank while eating my breakfast. Stunning grounds, everything in the rooms was new and well thought out. Lovely shower and comfy bed. A superb evening meal, too.

The room was a little smaller than I expected, given the luxury of everything else. The hotel system did not pick up my free Genius breakfast, which caused some confusion, but it eventually got sorted out.

I wasn't very impressed with the evening meal..I had octopus as a main and it was very little..also the main course was very similar to my partners starter. I did express this to the staff and they were very astute and redeemed the cost of my main course meal and offered us a free dessert and liquors Very good staffing and well recommended 👌

The estate is on the outskirts of Bray, tucked away and surrounded by the River. It is a beautiful spot. To be honest we liked the majority of the things about the resort and were very happy with our stay. We stayed for one night in a Temple Room which had everything we needed (although not a bath). The shower was lovely though so all was good. We had a couple of drinks in the bar in the afternoon which was tastefully decorated. We didn’t eat at the resort that evening. Our bed was extremely comfortable with feather pillows - and it’s the best night sleep we’ve had in a hotel for a long while. At breakfast I unfortunately wasn’t very hungry so chose the berry’s/yoghurt option which was wonderful. My husband had the full breakfast, it was wonderfully presented and tasted delicious apparently. There is a floating spa which you can book treatments in. This would be a lovely thing to do if you have time.

I think our only complaint was lack of storage for our bags after we unpacked. But this wasn’t an insurmountable issue and we managed just fine.

All employees were professional and nearly all were voluntarily helpful. The breakfast was outstanding in its choice, quality of food and impressive selection of fresh fruit. Brasserie service super and food very good as well as well-priced for the area

A few things to be mindful of eg accommodation is spread across several buildings, a couple near reception which is the other side of the bridge. All separate from the pavilion / restaurant, so easier in nice weather (but they do provide umbrellas at reception)

The breakfast was very good! Lots of fresh fruit and many choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lovely setting in the garden. Has a very nice view of the river. The rooms were a very nice size and bed was comfortable. Lovely garden to walk around and enjoy the boats going by.

It would be great if the hotel could add some activities like bikes or kayaks, May some garden games. Lounge chairs along the river to watch the boats go by would be a nice addition! A pool would be amazing!

Situated in a quiet location and only a 3 mile walk into Maidenhead. Stayed in a Temple room - the walk-in shower was huge, had plenty of hot water with a good pressure. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The cleaning was not up to scratch. The coffee machine where the pods are inserted was dusty and clearly hadn’t been wiped in a while, and the vacuuming could have been better - fluff and foreign hair evident. The Temple room was nice, but lacked space to put bags/cases, so had to be left in the way.

Beautiful buildings and grounds. Lovely room. Comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff. Easy check in and out. Great location. Overall we really loved it. My mum had passed away and being in such a calm and naturally beautiful location helped calm me down.

Spa wasn’t available and it would be a bonus to offer a sightseeing boat service as well as a shuttle to the village. We got changed wrongly at the bar (20 pounds for a G&T).

Everyone should have the good fortune, as we did, to experience this tranquil paradise. Just up the river from Windsor, this place is enriched in history. My birthday celebrations began with a delicious Sunday lunch overlooking the river Thames. All the staff were amazing and we even received an upgrade to what I like to call, our version on The White House☺️. From it's excellent location, to the immaculately manicured gardens and the super comfy beds, this family friendly oasis is heaven sent. I could go on and on and on, but my description wouldn't do it justice.

Fab breakfast, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was a great touch too. Grounds were wonderful, only 15-20mins from Windsor too.

Not many places to go unless you have a car/taxi to get around. Rooms were on the small side- my partner & I both had bruises from where we kept knocking our leg on the edge of the bed! No green tea/herbal tea available in rooms either which is usually a standard at 5* hotels. Also had to ask for our room to be made up/new cups etc - they explained they were understaffed when we visited but were happy to do up the room if we wanted. It was dinner time by this time so we said not to worry.

Location was great, easy to find. Room big enough, complimentary drinks in the mini fridge, very clean, quiet with a comfortable bed for a nice night sleep. Staff has been very friendly and helpful to solve any little problem.

The second day of my stay the room hasn't been cleaned even if I was out all day. I reported to the staff and the problem was sorted promptly. However, this wasn't supposed to happen in the first place. Also I couldn't book a table at the restaurant during my stay and I really wanted to try the menu that looked great. Next time perhaps.
