Everything perfect.Sheila is lovely and it’s a real home from home.Warm,cosy,spotlessly clean.Everything works.Location is excellent being near Richmond town centre,the castle,Easby Abbey and lots of other things to visit and do.Sheila has lots of information and even a pass for parking in the market square although it’s a short walk to town and you can park on Sheila’s drive.Breakfast was wonderful,lovely fresh local products,and fabulous smoked salmon and scrambled egg on muffin!Lots of fresh fruit and toast.Would definitely return.Thanks Sheila😍

We enjoyed our one night stay at Last Cottage. Wish it could have been longer. Sheila was very welcoming. Our room was very clean and comfortable and a good size modern bathroom. We had a delicious breakfast, plenty of it. Fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal plus a special treat of home made gooseberry jam with our toast, wonderful. The smoked salmon and scrambled egg muffin was excellent. Would stay again if ever up in Richmond.

We were very happy with our stay. We had no complaints.

The host could not have been more helpful - so welcoming and attentive to our requests. Location is good - You are far enough way from the centre of town to be in a quiet area, but close enough to stroll back into town. Room is small, but perfectly big enough for he 2 of us for a couple of days.

I understand that 2022 was an abnormally hot summer in the UK, but everything indicates that these temperatures need to be expected in the future. Given that, more needs to be done to cool the room down, to make it comfortable. The small fan provided just didn't make any headway in the heat in the room over night.

A lovely,spacious room with everything you require and much more, with amazing views into a beautiful cottage garden. Made to feel extremely welcome from the start. Breakfast was delicious I had scrambled eggs with salmon on a toasted muffin which was divine, my partner had a full English which was equally as good,plenty of choice with lovely fresh ingredients served in a lovely dining room with a beautiful outlook. Fantastic location just a short walk into the square and all what Richmond offers. We also liked that we could park at the property. 🙂

There wasn’t one thing we didn’t like.

Our host Sheila was very friendly and helpful. She gave us suggestions for places to visit in the town of Richmond. We had never been to Richmond before so this was helpful and it was a lovely place. It was also well situated to visit other areas of the county as well. The bathroom was large which was great as other places we have been it has been rather small. The breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice.

The breakfast was excellent and prepared specially as requested. Delicious and fresh! The room was quiet and everything I could have asked for - clean, large space and the bathroom excellent - large with a good hot shower and heated towels

I am used to cotton bedlinen and that would have been lovely, but still I slept really well.

Host was lovely & friendly - clean & comfortable room & en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was fabulous with several choices. Freedom to come & go as you pleased. Off road parking & excellent location with short walk to Richmond’s attractions.

Cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, warm welcome from when we opened the front door to the end of our stay. Nice and peaceful location. Sheila was a great host, and the food was lovely .

One of my frosties were broken at breakfast . Ha ha ha .There was nothing I didn't like ,it was a great 2 nights away .

The host Sheila was so welcoming. She was aware we were going to the races so let us park up early, made our room available early and gave us valuable information on getting too & from Catterick races on the day. Room was spotless and breakfast was fresh & lovely.

Nothing to dislike.

Our hostess was very helpful, particularly in accommodating our late arrival due to very poor weather and also on pointing out local places of interest. Breakfast was great and on check out we were even allowed to leave our car at the property allowing us time to take a walk to the Abbey and a final look around the town.
