We loved everything about this pub/hotel. From the location to the service - everything was 100% perfect. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and made your stay so enjoyable. The pub food was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. What I personally loved was the choice to build your own breakfast. Which gives you that flexibility of having what you want and how much. The beds were so comfortable and bathrooms were lovely and clean. Lovely tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom also. When we come back to Yorkshire we will definitely stay here again. best breakfast I ever had. I loved the menu-choice of small or large English ......then every other possible combination, inviting you to make your own up. Just made it seem like "no trouble" - and upfront offer instead of having to ask. Stacey served with a smile and very helpful. Topped up coffee readily, and brought sweeteners when asked. Fabulous quantity and quality , especially sausage and bacon. The best stocked hospitality tray I have ever seen. Thank you.

Please provide a cover/lid for juice jugs and croissant....there was a fly buzzing around -which can't be helped...but covers would be nice. Also sugar free Sweetners on tables and hospitality tray would be nice.

Superb location to explore the Dales and Reeth itself is an attractive, large village with other great pubs. Breakfasts were very generous. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

There was no service of the room during our 3 night stay, although it was possible to get extra milk and teabags from the bar, There is no seating in the room (except on beds) although it was no problem to sit dwonstairs in the pub even if not drinking. Wifi was intermittent at times.

Excellent rooms - lots of space, great bathroom, extremely clean. We had a lovely twin room whilst friends had the king size double and their room was spectacular. It certainly exceeded all our expectations. Very friendly staff. The food was all delicious with plenty of choice, including the best fish and chips on the Coast to Coast!

Fantastic stay at The Buck.The staff were excellent the rooms were spotless and very comfortable .The food was great.the small breakfast was the biggest small breakfast ive ever had it was fabulous.Cant wait to return in the summer to use the lovely beer garden hidden out the back pubs bigger than it looks once you walk inside definately worth staying i would highly recommend it ideal location for lovely walks in the surrounding areas .

Our room was very comfortable and the view was the icing on the cake for me. Great facilities, the recent renovations have made The Buck a delightful place to stay and spend time there. Great food, a great range of gins & ales plus cosy nooks to sit in. Breakfast was delicious, and huge portions. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, and you could see they enjoyed their jobs. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them.

very comfortable accommodation, in the heart of Reeth. excellent breakfast Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the owner Shaun was especially generous in allowing a full refund for one couple in our group who had to cancel at last minute….this was very much appreciated and unexpectedly generous. Would definitely recommend and return.

The new owners of the Buck have created a great atmosphere and have greatly improved the facilities. We enjoyed every aspect of our 2 day visit. The breakfasts were superb (beware though, the "big" breakfast could quite easily be called the "huge" breakfast!). The evening meals were great and were very good value.

great location in the centre of the village, lively pub atmosphere in the evening and helpful staff. our room was big and bed very comfortable.

no proper shower, just a hand held unit over the bath. nowhere to hang your towel up either, yet it was a massive bathroom which could have easily accommodated a shower cubicle and some towel rails. no hair dryer in the room.

Full english breakfast was included and substantial and tasty. We also ate dinner the night we arrived and that was also very good. Our room was very large with recently renovated bathroom with shower and large soaking tub, so nice after a long day of sightseeing. Very lovely location.
