The owners have put a lot of thought into making the Moto Velo comfortable and so welcoming. Our room was lovely on its own but the use of the shared snug was a very welcome surprise. There was a little road noise early evening but they even provide earplugs, not that it bothered us enough to use them. Continental breakfast in the joined cafe doorstairs was great and a perfect start to the day. We were visiting family in the area so location was perfect for us. This is now our first choice when back in the area and we will look for other unique accomodation when traveling in future, rather than relying on the usual chain hotels. For similar, or in this case less money, we found somewhere genuinely memorable to stay. If you are a motorcycle or cycling enthusiast the Moto Velo will have even more appeal as they don't just allow bikes, they are positively set up for this.

As someone who likes to read at night I found the bedside light too bright.Yep, that's all I can think of.

The breakfast was simple but it came with a 'coffee shop' coffee which is all I require at 9am. The decor was tasteful and of a high standard and everything was very clean. There is a 'snug' provided where you can make tea or real coffee or sit down to eat a take-away at a table (rather than on your bed) and there are also leather sofas and a TV in the 'snug' to just lounge around should you fancy it. The coffee shop below is pretty cool. A relaxed and welcoming place that is filled with querky little coffee tables nestled in-between motorbikes and merchandise. Surrounded by interesting little nik-naks and memorabilia, it's a cool place to hang out, even if you're not a biker.

The road outside was fairly noisy with traffic if you are particularly sensitive to that kind of thing - but earplugs are provided if you sleep with your windows open. I personally didn't find it an issue and slept sound.

The motorbikes in the restaurant/shop downstairs give the facility its own character. Comfortable large queen or kingsize bed in recently refurbished rooms which were very clean. Kitchen facilities were convenient for coffee, tea and having a take away dinner (there's a fridge and microwave, no stove though). Continental breakfast included toast, croissants and "pain au chocolat", as wells as cereals, yoghurt, juice and good coffee. Breakfast, usually starting from 8am onwards on Sundays, was served 20 min earlier on my request. Parking facilities OK. All in all good value for money and good service.

The only minor is that the accommodation is along the main road in Crediton, which can be a little noisy during the day.

Excellent room, very clean, spacious and with all the required facilities. Bathroom was lovely and clean and the shower was hot and powerful. Loved the communal space for making coffee, watching TV on the sofa, etc a nice touch and although I was travelling alone this would have been fantastic if travelling in a group. Unusual (in a great, quirky way) venue, great for two wheel enthuisiasts and others alike. Breakfast in the cafe was a treat. Worth a visit just for the shop and cafe. Location was great for me, in the centre of Crediton, I could walk to where I needed to be. Parking was a breeze, safe and secure. Neil, the owner was a true gent, a pleasure to meet him. All in all a great place to stay, or stop by and have a coffee and a browse.

The rooms are clean, well presented and comfortable. Breakfast in the café was an experience. Eating breakfast sat amongst the pristine Harley Davidson bikes was an unexpected pleasure. I'm not a motorbike enthusiast as such but you have to appreciate these objects when sat so close. The breakfast itself was good, all freshly made and served with the minimum of fuss by the friendly staff.

I genuinely cannot think of anything to pick them up on. My stay there was real pleasure.

You do not need to have any interest in motorcycles to stay here. As it happens I do so appreciate the hotel's theme, cafe, shop etc. The rooms are completely seperate and accessible through a keypad entrance so contactless check-in which can be convenient. Rooms are immaculate, a good size and spotlessly clean and good value. Crediton town centre is a 1 minute walk, there is free parking across the road. Breakfast is continental buffet but great quality and choice and superb coffee. 100% recommended.

Breakfast was in the cafe, where many motorbikes are located. Breakfast was good but only continentail. No English Fry up available. This place is great if you like motorcycles. There could be a problem if someone had a deep dislike of motorcycles. Very clean even with the motorbikes. Little or no alternative places to stay close to centre of Crediton

Lovely rooms, convenient for Crediton, the owners and staff really lovely, awesome coffee, excellent facilities. I was so lucky to be able to get rooms for me and my family.

The road outside can be noisy with traffic through the night, I left my window open and got used to it. Ear plugs are provided if needed.

I loved the laid-back atmosphere. All the staff I met were very nice indeed. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. One niggle I had was that the lights one entrance to my room and the bathroom were operated by sensors. I do understand that this may be for economic reasons, however when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night all the lights came on. If I had been sharing the room this would have probably woken the other person. On this basis I would only stay if I was travelling alone. I did point this out to your breakfast staff.

it was nice to walk in and see your name clearly displayed on a board allocating your room. The kitchen was stocked with cafetières and real coffee with the milk supplied by a local dairy which was a really nice touch. An ashtray on the wall outside the main door was also good for us smokers, it meant you don’t have to go right back out on to the main road. The property has a warm and friendly vibe and I would highly recommend it!

It’s not often this happens but I couldn’t fault it!
