The room was independent of the main building, was situated on the ground floor and within easy reach of the car park. I was pleased with the area of space in the room which exceeded my expectations and the water supply in the bathroom was very hot and supplied with plenty of pressure. The menu in the Inn was extensive and prepared and served to a good standard

The only thing which I didn’t like was that the combined light and air extractor in the bathroom would inexplicably turn itself off after a few seconds and render you in complete darkness before automatically coming back on after a few more seconds. This would occur about two or three times before staying on permanently. Quite bizarre. A very small thing but slightly annoying never the less

The location is perfect for track days at Blyton Park. The staff are friendly. The pub food is very good, although the kitchen closes quite early so make sure you arrive and order in time. The accommodation block is separate from the pub and the rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped.

Breakfast doesn't start until 8:30am which is too late for most track day briefings although a pre-packed take away breakfast can be purchased the night before. The Blyton Park track cafe opens at 8am so not too much of a problem. Unfortunately, the morning I left the hotel had run out of gas so the breakfast menu was limited.

Friendly welcome, all staff very pleasant, food was exceptional, had a lovely evening meal and the choice was great, breakfast was also very tasty. Nice sized rooms, we liked this place so much changed our plans and added another night that week! Nice rooms away from the main building, easy to park but we were at the beginning of the week, not sure what parking would be like at busier times.

Very minor issues, but shower was a bit small and would be nice to have a tray to put toiletries on, also would have been nice to have bottles of water alongside tea and coffee etc... These very small issues and not enough to put us off returning!

I stayed for one night when passing through on my way home on a Saturday night. At £50 room only (single occupancy) I felt I was rolling the dice somewhat, not knowing what I should expect (at such a low price point). Upon arrival it was clear my apprehension was misguided as the pub was presented beautifully. Even the car park was neat and tidy and these standards extended through to the pub and annex accommodation. With silent air conditioning, decent Wi-Fi, spotlessly clean rooms and lovely staff, the package was exceptional value for money and a great place to spend the evening. Breakfast (preselected and paid for in advance) was also very good.

Prepaying and preselecting breakfast, but that’s no big deal.

Nice spacious self contained accommodation that was separate from the Pub. Recently renovated and decorated in simple, modern style, the room had all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay and included on-site parking. The Wi-Fi worked well and the room had a smart TV should you want to use your streaming account. A modern easy-to-use heating and air-condition system helps to keep the room at a temperate climate. Cooked breakfast was an additional option as was a Take-Away Breakfast. The pub itself had a vibrant atmosphere and the food looked good. Great location for the surrounding areas of interest, only 15 minutes from the Hemswell Antiques Centre. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great, affordable stay in the area.

The rooms have had a refurb and air con added which was a fantastic bonus as they did used to get really hot. Great stay again, lovely food and fantastic location

This didnt affect our stay in any way its just a bit of feedback but in room 1 the shower floods the full room and the towel rail is rusty / needs a good clean. Also at night the fire light in the roof a green led lights up the full room maybe a shield or something to reduce the glare. (I put the air con instructions over it and worked a treat to remove the glare)

Very comfortable room, lovely sitting area, it was an excellent use of the space. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet surroundings, we both slept very well, which doesn't always happen when we are away from home. Will happily stay here again.

Our only feedback would be to have a token breakfast option that was not a cooked breakfast, I think we will be calling ahead next time to request whether that would be possible. The breakfasts we had were excellent quality food and very tasty, just one of us is not a big breakfast eater!

Lovely pub with great staff and delicious food. The accommodation was ideal for our needs and had plenty of room. The dog was welcomed and there are local walks east to navigate on foot. Will be back for sure as ideal for Blyton racetrack!! Also the most effective and quiet air conditioning we have ever had!!

The only minor points we could think of were the green emergency light in the room was annoying at night. And orange juice could be included free with breakfast! Literally that was it!

Good sized room, decent sized shower room , good toiletries and towels. Tea coffee making facilities in room , desk good sized TV, wifi , settee and chair and plenty of drawer space. mix of carpet and hard floor.little table and chair set outside . Pub garden near by with nice seating area. Extensive bar menu and breakfast cooked to order and choice of full English or light vegan and gluten free options etc.

Blinds at window let light in however new owner/ manager said all rooms to be upgraded to aircon and refurbed and will have blackouts or some other window dressing fitted. pub has just had air on fitted .

Location to our purpose. Car park. Pub for drink and food. Breakfast available. Size of room. The coat hanger area was very practical and you could put your suitcase up off the floor. Friendly staff. Very good value for money.

Size of shower too small. With better planning in bathroom could have fitted bigger shower. No where to put wash bags. No shower caddy for shampoo etc The single beds were a wee bit soft
