All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect for a solo traveller - cosy, clean, comfortable and quiet. It was decorated to a high standard. I felt safe there and slept like a log. Fantastic little touches such as good quality branded hotel slippers, water and a fridge in the room. The breakfast choice was huge and delivered to the room by a polite gentleman in an immaculate suit. And it was perfect - a freshly baked warm croissant, perfectly toasted bread, plenty of butter and marmalade, blueberries and good quality yoghurt. Everything about this hotel and the service is geared towards quality and customer comfort. I managed to get a great deal through Booking.com's Genius option.

A few minor niggles (kettle lead too short, one plug socket not working, shower temperature knob too stiff).

We stayed in the apartment to celebrate our 20th anniversary and it was perfect. The staff allowed me to take gifts the day before our stay and put them out for me as a surprise for my wife, which I was really grateful for. The apartment was superb. It was spacious, comfortable, clean and had some great little extras including plenty of bottled water, juice and lemonade along with the espresso machine and plenty of pods. The jet bath was great and the TV’s have streaming services in both the living room and the bedroom. The kitchen area is well equipped, although don’t make the same mistake that I did and be aware that it doesn’t have an oven! Thankfully, there is loads of takeaway places nearby so we didn’t go hungry! There is some great local cocktail bars that are no more than a 5 minute walk away and a Wetherspoons a little further up the road too. The breakfast was fine, plenty of options and was delivered to the room. Overall, I would highly recommend this value for money hotel and in particular, this room. This was our first stay at the hotel, but it certainly won’t be our last!

Only suggestion I’d make would be some extra pillows on the bed.

Quiet, comfortable clean, private. Staff courteous and helpful despite under pressure to multi task. Ideal haven for me visiting my family in Scunthorpe, coming from a very busy life in Cumbria

The room was rather warm but the only way to cool it was to climb on to the window sill to reach the windows....so just as well I am a fit 76 year old. Towels were changed unnecessarily during a 3 night stay even though I'd left them over the rail and not lying in the shower. Is a waterproof mattress cover really necessary?

The rooms where a little warm

The receptionist, which made us getting a room middle in the night at 3 a.m. was perfect. Breakfast at the hotel room was amazing and everything was on, we ordered the day before. The room was comfortable and the hotel in total nice Designed. The secured parking space in the backyard is also a plus.

Only the not 100% cleaning was a bit negativ, for example dryed waterdrops on the mirror and also a bit dirt/colour on the bedsheeds (was clean, just had a old colour on it). No hairdryer at the room.

What a great breakfast menu plenty to choose from and delivered to your door. Breakfast time from 05:00 yes 05:00 - 08:45. The room was superb great massive bed plenty of bottled water and a very good tea tray. very comfortable. would I stay here again. -Definitely

Don't think there was a bar at the hotel. would have been nice to have had one after a tiring day and a 5 hour drive. I stayed in room 105 the room was really good but the bathroom floor was a bit spongy in places and the vinal was bubbled in places, But it didn't spoil my stay.

I booked this for my boss to stay in whilst doing some business in Scunthorpe, he has now stayed there twice, the first in a double, the second in an apartment, both were excellent, his breakfast was even brought up to him in the apartment, he stated that it was actually waisted on him as he just requires a simple clean room, after seeing the video he recorded, I can see what he means, I have lived in the Scunthorpe area all my life and I was surprised at how nice it is, especially considering the very reasonable price. The location is excellent if you wish to go to the baths theatre or just be in the center of town, parking is not a problem as it has its own car park behind the property. It will definatly be my first choice in the future, usually he is in Scunthorpe for 3 or 4 nights a month, I have already booked for his next trip to Scunthorpe.

Cant believe this was Scunny. We are from the area and came back for a show at the Baths. This is just across the road the old Cons Club. Amazing. Got a take away from excellent Indian down the road, and then crossed the road to the venue. Fantastic Show and then when show ended in bed in 5 minutes. Super breakfast. Secure parking, who do the Astons and Range Rovers belong to in Scunny? Fantastic night, excellent facillity. Theres more to Scunny than meets the eye.

Nothing, its all good. You even got tooth brushes and tooth paste!

The staff are amazing this is my second time staying there whilst visiting somebody (who also stayed at the hotel with me) and all staff that we spoke to were very friendly and were happy to help with anything, The property is also situated right next to Sainsbury’s which comes in handy if you need anything as well as only being a walk down the road from town centre.

I’m not sure if booking.com label check in and check out times correctly and I will have to ask next time I’m at the hotel but checking out at 11 is my least favourite part as I stayed there Friday-Sunday on both occasions and the earlier I have to leave means the earlier I need to get the train home so I have less time with the person I’m visiting and can’t stay Friday to Monday as I have work and it’s a 3-4hr journey from Scunthorpe to where I live on public transportation.

it was clean and well presented

the breakfast menu was very disappointing. We asked if there was a meat option for breakfast and was told because the owners didn’t eat meat they wouldn’t cook it due to religious reasons. it was not stated on the booking and I also feel this is discriminatory towards meat eaters, the breakfast menu was varied but not to our tastes. we ordered toast, but didn’t even get butter (which i didn’t think we would have to order) This should be stated on the hotel details and guests are made aware when booking.
