No breakfast was provided but cafes were nearby. There was also a large fridge, toaster and microwave should you wish to do your own food. It was also fairly quiet and they changed my room to one on the ground floor which is easier for me.

There was nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. A small shelf on the wall by the toilet would have been useful. Also there was only one double power point which meant either unplugging the kettle or lamp to charge phone and iPad.

I booked and then was apprehensive as I read some bad reviews, I need not have worried. The hotel is clean and comfortable, everything you need is provided. The room was small but adequate and seems newly renovated. It was nice and warm even though the weather was freezing. It was quiet, parking is easy, right outside, and the location is very convenient for the town centre I will definitely stay again Claudia was helpful and friendly

The location can't be beaten. Central Town. Parking out the front is Public, but free from 6pm Fri- 8am Monday. Tip* arrive just after 2pm pay for the Max 4 hrs then it's Free anyway. Also, if you want, press the Parking machine after 6pm for your 2 hrs Free Parking from 8-10 am Monday. Or any other day I presume.

I have stayed here a few times and the room was, as usual, clean with comfortable bed and a good shower. Downstairs open area with microwave if you want to cook your own tea, and breakfast room with big fridge for guests to prepare own breakfast. All recently refurbished. Easy walk to to town centre with Wetherspoons and Lidl only a few minutes away.

This was the first time I have stayed in a room without a desk and chair, which was a bit unexpected.

Nice clean room, good location near town centre and an exceptionally helpful receptionist, who was very welcoming on my arrival, and was helpful with parking and other enquiries about the area. Aside from my minor quibble about a TV in one room, the hotel seemed well run and managed, clean and I would certainly recommend the Hotel Calmart.

I found it a bit uncomfortable watching TV unless laying down due to the position of TV. I will admit I didn't really think much of the town itself but that's not the hotels fault, just how I felt as a solo middle aged traveller. I'm sure others will find plenty to enjoy in the town.

The location is close to the town centre and the rail station.

They no longer serve breakfast, although I would probably not have chosen to take this very often. Since a prior visit, they no longer had any cutlery available, making the use of the microwave provided rather limited.

Location in top, 7 min from train station, 10(?)min from busstation and nice and quiet at the hotel even though only 3 min from highstreet

Room 15 : bed with no (room for) table, had to use the window

Claudia provided exceptional service. She was proactive, friendly and attentive. She offered to carry my suitcase to my room and went out of her way to get my printing done for me, bringing it to my room and making sure I had everything I needed.

Very very small bathroom and shower - but was excellent value for money

Very friendly accommodating staff. Room clean. Good location to commute. Travelled for a family funeral in the area.

Bed a little uncomfortable (personal opinion only) and shower in the room leaked so we couldn't use it. Otherwise nothing

We needed an hotel at very short notice and we found this one. It was just what we needed, comfortable, en suite shower, tv (with Netflix) kettle with plenty of tea bags and milk and close to amenities. Also friendly and helpful staff.
