Rooms very clean and all staff very helpful, friendly and professional

the distance to the car parking from the hotel was not good, especially if raining, take a brolly. Only other issue for me was that the windows in my room did not open, the air con was very good, but I prefer fresh air on a warm evening

Absolute perfection the whole place. Stayed there as a family for Tina Turner tribute. The organisation was incredible. So family friendly. The walk back through the zoo to the hotel was so well supervised, lights everywhere, staff every few meters making sure everyone is safe. Next morning went to kids play area fully energised. The hotel parking is very close to the actual hotel so packing up the car was no trouble, big trollys available if needed.. Everything was so nice, pleasant, well organised. Usually family get away especially last day is chaos but staying at this facility it is just so well worth the money. Very lucky to have this in Yorkshire.

Absolutely nothing.

We loved the whole site, what a brilliant place, weird and wonderful mixture of everything. So much for the kids to see, very accessible and safe for the littlest of children. We visited most parts at our stay, we ate at the evolution restaurant, so much going on there! Loved the dinosaur that visited during dinner. We visited uproar twice as the kids adored it, not like every other soft play, love that the tables for parents are dotted throughout. We ate a few meals in the wild bistro which were good, the outdoor area at the back of here is great as it’s secure for kids and breakfast was decent enough, not the greatest selection I’ve seen though for 13.95, maybe a little on the pricey side for what you get. The wildlife park it self is so spacious, there are drinks and food points everywhere and plenty of seats and benches. Me and my husband both commented how it never felt over run and it’s in the mist of the school holidays. We stayed in a premium family room and it was perfect, lovely size, modern and clean and had everything you could need. Hotel itself in communal areas was lovely and loved the watering hole on each floor. We loved everything about the park, very well thought out and we will certainly be coming to stay again!

Sometimes the service was very slow, or we got forgotten about even though sometimes it wasn’t busy. We forgot our pram (nearly died!) and you could hire one for use in the park, however we were staying in the hotel and the hive had so much to see, and we weren’t allowed to use it around that area which made it quite difficult for us with the little one, I know that was very much our fault, but feel that letting people use them around the hive would be very beneficial. One point for the room, having little people running around a parent lock at the top of the door would of been an ideal addition to stop our little ones trying to run down the hotel halls :)

The location was great, really handy for local attractions nearby as well as the wildlife park. Was handy to stay onsite so we could visit nearby attractions on the first day then have a restful sleep before a full day in the animal park knowing we didnt have to drive to get there. Room was comfortable and clean. Helpful addition of a fridge in the room and ice facilities down the corridor.

Could have done with more milk sachets in the room as only had enough for 1 drink and there weren't any in the facilities room where the ice machine was. The hairdryer in the room wasn't very good, but only a minor complaint really.

Excellent access for us. My husband is disabled and every time we go away, we experience at least one problem. Not here! The only complaint is that the parking was far from the hotel, and it wasn’t possible to park closer just to drop off bags, but the staff were so helpful and helped me carry my stuff. I then realised there was a trolley I could have borrowed too! I do want to point out that this is a pretty easy stay for a disabled person travelling with someone, but travelling alone, it would be tiring and difficult, so please bear that in mind. Other than access, the rooms were clean, spacious, and we were literally next door to the wildlife park entrance. Free parking, very secure. Overall, just an excellent holiday

Friendly greeting by reception staff. Comfortable bed, clean room.

Evening meal was expensive for what it was, pretty pedestrian food, whoever is in the kitchen may want to up their game considerably... Can understand captive audience... Therefore why bother too much?!.. Good food at the right price would be a good way to go... On the strength of the lack lustre evening meal did not bother with breakfast... Mentioned to staff member about quality of meal... They just looked confused and took plate away... Staff training maybe required...?

All staff were both polite, friendly and helpful…. It was great having facilities on the doorstep and the entire faculty was incredibly well kept …. We had a great day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park and would definitely return

I wasn’t impressed with the room location I paid extra for a park view room but it really was a partial view of the park at best …. I did inform reception and the next day and was offered a voucher. The room itself was great could do with more seating … room was for 4 people but only 2 seats on the balcony

We stayed twice on our way south/north. It was my daughter's favourite hotel. Check in is easy and the room itself is well designed, comfortable and immaculate. We stayed in a family room with bunk beds and an outside space. The room has lots of lighting options, a bean bag and tv streaming services. Beds were comfortable. We liked having lots of space around the hotel for my daughter to explore and good wee shops.

We ate in the restaurant on site, which was good but food/service on our return journey wasn't as good as our first stay.

I had to drag my case quarter of a mile through the dark rough terrain to get to my taxi which was taking me to the airport at 3.45am.

The watering hole room was great as was having a fridge and tea/coffee in the room. The room was clean and tidy. There was enough space for the 4 of us, the decor was good and my youngest liked the beanbag! The 11am checkout was good as we didn't feel rushed to have breakfast and pack. The buffet breakfast was brilliant and good value for money.

My only negative is a minor one, as the room was for 4 people it was a good that there were 4 tea/coffee/decaf bags in the room. However there was only 2 hot chocolate sachets and with 3 daughters that didn't go down well.
