Historic hotel with character. We had a studio room, which was spacious. Couldn't fault the staff they were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was buffet style for continental, and a staff member plated up your selection of grilled breakfast items. Central location. Close to transport links. Conservatory looked out to George Square, ideal if you like people watching.

Our room overlooked Queen Street Station, so you could hear the station sounds. We were unable to close the sash windows (historic building so understood), but the secondary glazing also wouldn't close properly at bedtime. However, you needed the windows open as the room was very warm. Air conditioning would have been good.

This hotel is in a very convenient location hop on hop off bus right at the door to see the city, great breakfast and lovely staff it is right next door to the queens train line and other then the odd late night drunken singer it’s very quiet I had a single room which was a good size with table and chair tv etc and en-suite, this is the first time I have had a not slip mat available in the bathroom for the shower over the bath. Single bed that was very comfortable no issues with luggage storage either prior to check in or after check out

Check in staff very friendly and efficient. We were given an upgrade room which was greatly appreciated as the room was extremely spacious - very comfortable- full of amenities and spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel, next door to the train station and very central within the city was excellent with many good restaurants only a stones throw away. Unfortunately, due to an early start we decided to skip breakfast so cannot comment.

Nothing that I can think off as every aspect of our stay was in the positive.

So the hotel wasn't cheap especially because there was a concert happening so rooms in Glasgow were few and far between, however I really didn't mind the second I arrived. Hotel was lovely and clean, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and great location. The Millenium had literally thought of every single thing you could possibly need in the room too. Will definitely book and stay there again!!! 10/10 from us.

Twin beds were a bit squishy and moved about abit but slept really well on them regardless.

This is a review of the GRAND CENTRAL HOTEL in Glasgow, not the Millennium Hotel. I booked a room for my husband I 2 months before the date. A week before our stay I was sent an email to say that our bookI had been moved to the Grand Central Hotel due to the Millennium being used to house Ukrainien refugees. No problem, happy to help out in my tiny way by moving hotels. Phoned the Grand Central the night before our stay to check on things because all communication on booking.com continued to say Millennium Hotel, only to find that they had NO record of our booking. Phoned the Millennium as advised to find that they had no idea where we had been moved to, but that it “might” be the Holiday Inn and that someone would call in the morning (day of booking) to confirm. Next morning, I received a call to say that we had in fact been moved to the Holiday Inn (not comparable to a room on George Square at the Millennium!) but that due to cancellation of the Guns N Roses concert rooms were freeing up at the Grand Central so we might be able to be moved back and someone would call us in the afternoon! Appalling service from booking staff! I insisted that we be called earlier as we had a ferry and train to catch and could not risk travel until we knew what was happening. Sure enough 15 minutes later another call, and we’d been moved back to the Grand Central Hotel. On the plus side, the Grand Central was a lovely hotel with plenty of character. We enjoyed our stay and our breakfast there but I am unable to leave a review for that hotel because booking.com still thinks we stayed at the Millennium.

Reservation staff really had no idea what was going on.

We loved how it was 5 minute walk from train station.the staff were very pleasant on arrival.the room was big ,pity about the small bed in furniture bit dated.excellent cupboard space to hang up clothes,in tea/coffee facilities next to TV olso.lovely bar downstairs in also bar menu to have food in drink in watch world go by.good view of George Square and surrounding buildings.

The bed was a small double not great when your 6"4 .the furniture was bit dated too,bit old fashioned.the bathroom door didn't lock also in loads of scuff marks on tiles. Good bar menu but would of like more options of food menu for size hotel.

The staff members were very helpful; location was good & near good restaurants & rail stations in the city centre We had a very relaxing holiday with comfortable seating areas in the hotel. The bar was well stocked with beers, wine & whisky etc.

The hotel is a bit dated. There needs to be money spent on repairs. For example the bedroom ceiling in room 207 is cracked & peeling. The dining room area was chilly when we had breakfast due to high ceilings & no heating ; the breakfast meal could have been hotter; this was not helped by cold plates to hand for customers

We've stayed at the Millennium Hotel before and had a great time. Location is perfect for shopping through the day and for eating out/ drinking spots in the evening. Staff were all very nice and friendly, hotel was clean. Breakfast was great as always.

The room was quite small for the price we paid. Bed wasent overly comfortable but a mattress can't be right for every customer. The decor in the bedroom and bathroom was a little dated and needs a wee bit of TLC. The view out of our only window was a brink wall from the adjacent building, approximately 2 metres away from us. Not a great outlook.

friendly staff, polite and helpful

No TV remote in room had to phone reception after looking everywhere in room, gentleman came with a remote, he left and it didn't work, had to change stations at side of TV. Breakfast didn't have any pastries left, had to queue for hot food, usually this is buffet style like rest of breakfast. this was the first time I had breakfast in hotel.
