Everything, location very rural with stunning views yet not too far from local attractions. Lovely house, very homely feel, nice room, enormous and comfortable bed and a great shower with shamppos etc which is very handy for a weekend break.Use of a guest fridge in the lounge which is also used for guests to relax, i took full advantage and read my book in there one evening. Access to the lovely garden displaying wild flowers, chickens and a firepit. The breakfast was really nice. Maggie and Keith were very welcoming and made us comfortable and the whole house offers a nice relaxing vibe.

Everything! Kevin and Maggie are the perfect hosts, everything we could possibly have needed was provided. The property is perfect, has lovely rooms and en-suites, it has exceptional views for miles around, and the gardens, laid out and developed by Kevin over the last few years, are beautiful. Breakfast was excellent with eggs from their own chickens and all local food. The RHS garden, Rosemoor, is only a few miles away, which was the main reason for our visit, but there is so much to do in the area we are planning a week’s visit next year.

The host Kevin and Maggie made us feel instantly relaxed and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was excellent, everything locally produced. The sausages were the best we have ever tasted. The information left in the rooms, of what to do in the local area was beautifully written and so informative, we literally followed the instructions, visited recommended sites, ate in recommended restaurants and cafes. Ate local fish and chips, and was never disappointed. We found the people of North Devon, friendly and welcoming. Definitely will revisit.Thank you

Kevin and Maggie were fabulous very friendly, gave lots of advice on where to go what to do. Really out of the way, relaxing, comfortable, beautiful surroundings, good breakfast, even gave us a lift.

Nothing really, could do with darker curtains as sun woke us up in the morning, probably earlier than we would have. Really out of the way, so needed to travel to go everywhere, nearest pub over a mile walk.

A most relaxing stay in mid Devon, the splendid house was comfortable and welcoming with terrific views across the county. I don’t think I have ever had such a great breakfast, everything fresh and perfectly cooked eggs with home made marmalade and jam to set us up for the day. Best of all is the friendly welcome into a charming home.

The term 'Bed and Breakfast' really doesn't do this justice. Exceptionally spacious and clean accommodation in a beautiful setting. Maggie and Kevin are fantastic hosts, keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was first class with lots of homely extras including the choice of fresh duck eggs and home-made marmalade. Very comfortable room with lots of extra space, huge bathroom and plenty of storage space available.

Very minor and appreciate the window looks onto an empty field but a roller blind in the bathroom wouldn't go amiss?

What an absolute gem. We had a marvellous stay in this beautiful B&B, Maggie and Kevin were extremely friendly and helpful, allowing us access to their wonderful garden and wildflower meadow for our evening picnics. Breakfast was superb and our room, Rosemoor, was very comfortable with a lovely big bathroom overlooking their paddock. All in all a great place to stay, very close to RHS Rosemoor and other gardens we wanted to visit. Thoroughly recommended. We will be back!

Nothing. It was perfect.

Kevin and Maggie were the perfect hosts and it felt as if we had known them for a long time. We were made to feel very welcome in the beautiful house and garden. Breakfast was excellent with local produce and eggs from the happy chickens and ducks kept by the owners. The room was great and included a very modern smart TV. The location was perfect for a visit to RHS Rosemore and to the Tarka Trail and also there were some very good pubs nearby.

Plenty of choice for breakfast.Very peaceful & quiet.Hosts were very obliging & nothing was to much trouble.Two adorable dogs on property but extremely well behaved.Comfortable bed & large bathroom with walkin shower.

Bedroom on the small side.Country roads were a nightmare to navigate to property as were so narrow.

Maggie & Kevin are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The bedroom was excellent, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom was large with a spacious shower and a large bath. Breakfast was a mix of buffet style and freshly cooked items. Eggs, both chicken and duck, were collected by Kevin on the morning.
