The Meldon Suite0

Lovely setting, great to the Inn next door for food. We had an fabulous cream tea on arrand a decent meal in the evening. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Could use a few hooks in there. Bed was fabulous when first sat on it, but later the mattress alone was disappointing, but not awful. Just need a little padding. Staff superb on checking and during meals. Loved the location and so easy to park!

Our host bent over backwards to make sure we were fed really well, late Saturday night, despite arriving close to the time the kitchen was closing. And although we hadn’t booked breakfast we were provided with some nice stuff for the morning. The room was comfortable, the adjacent pub had a good selection of beers etc., so it worked out really well for four cyclists doing the coast to coast from Ilfracombe to Plymouth. The host is new and I wish him well with this venture.

All was good.

Under new management they are trying to update and upgrade the restaurant bar areas and rooms and are doing a good job 👍, Great position just off the A30 I will definitely be interested in stopping there again. Only change around £10 per night for caravans or campervans to park on site which is a bargain...

Unfortunately Rome was not built in a day, so it still has bits of the old management lingering around As in work to be done,over time will only get better and I wish them all the best...

3 night stay for a family of 3 adults and 1 dog. The property was in a nice location. The bed was made up on arrival. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly. Despite being on a main road there was no road noise. Other guests were very considerate. Plenty of parking. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

No hooks to hang your coat or towel.

The rooms are quite spacious, especially the en-suite. It is also handy for visiting a lot of friends I have in the area.

There is a little noise from the adjacent main road, but that's to be expected. It's not that bad really.

We book forest suite it was beautiful.staff was friendly, Good location, mostly i had my private car park.food was available at the restaurant.

Very warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Great food and service was excellent.

Unfortunately despite being advertised there was no breakfast available on the days of my visit.

The location made the trip to Falmouth so much easier

The water pressure in one of the rooms was very low
