I liked everything! The village, proximity of a very good pub, my beautiful spacious room with all the facilities and impeccable cleanness, which was maintained every day. Breakfast freshly made by Nicky was just exceptional! The garden in the back yard was very pretty, and the driveway to park the car inside the property. I am so pleased with my stay and I am definitely staying there again when I visit the place again! Thank you very much Nicky, for your incredible hospitality!

Very comfortable room in attractive old thatched house. Very quiet setting with good pub for dinner 5 mins away. Host Nikki very friendly which when travelling solo is important. Lovely cooked to order breakfast and unusual home made preserves.

Excellent breakfast, good choice and we were always asked if we wanted more. Location was great enabling us to choose where we would like to travel to and plenty of restaurants locally to choose from. Loved the thatched cottage for the B&B and cleanliness immaculate. Hosts were great and accommodating, local people really friendly too! We both had a super break!

There is nothing that we could say that we didn’t like.

Our hosts Kevin and Nicky were always attentive to our needs but never intrusive. The en-suite accommodation was excellent, both for comfort and room facilities. Covid-19 rules were well adhered to without intruding. The breakfast menu was very comprehensive and included tasty home made preserves, etc. Whatever we chose for breakfast the food was beautifully cooked and presented. The village is idyllic but unfortunately warranted more time to explore than we had available. We would happily stay at Middletown Farmhouse again should we be in the area.

This beautiful home is very welcoming and easy to find. Perfect location for me to visit family and reach multiple hiking routes which was the reason for my visit. The breakfast was delicious, homemade conserves, locally sourced foods make all the difference and sets up the day perfectly.

The thatched cottage is set in a lovely quiet village with an excellent pub/restaurant close by. Owners Nicky & Kevin were so welcoming, nothing appeared to be too much trouble, they even offered and booked our evening meal at the pub for our arrival Sunday evening. First class breakfast inc eggs from their own chickens. (GF bread available). Bedroom was very nicely decorated and the bed comfortable.

Can't think of anything wrong apart from not being able to book another night's stay!

Large Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast , all freshly cooked. Friendly host. Private parking. Good location in a beautiful Devon village and in easy walking distance from village pub serving good pub fare. Easy reach of North Devon & Cornwall coast & Dartmoor.

Lovely B&B in a little peaceful village. Really comfortable bed and amazing full English breakfast in the morning. Very clean and the hosts were just great…so welcoming and friendly. We’ll definitely be staying there again.

Fabulous bnb in a beautifully restored thatched home. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and really set us up for the day. Lovely village location a short walk to the local pub. Nicky and Kevin are Lovely people who made us feel very welcome. We hope to come again!

Teriific stay, especially for motorcyclists with a secure hidden undercover parking. Great people and Nicky was very helpful, great breakfasts, I will stay again if they will have me.

Had to park my R1250 bmw next to a Ducati, just joking.
