Cleasewood Guest House

The room was clean and comfortable. Good location. The host was courteous and welcoming. Excellent value for money. A very good breakfast was included.

A warm welcome on arrival from the owners , upon hearing that the show I was there to see had been cancelled they gave me helpful advice of alternative things to do or places to go , the property was clean and comfortable with a homely vibe , the location is great with everything you could want from a seaside town within a 15 minute walk but also far enough away from the excitement and noise yet still a stones throw from the beach , I also had a lovely breakfast of which there is a vast selection to choose from before a friendly farewell .

my husband and I stayed at the property with a friend in August. We had two front facing rooms . The rooms were excellent , comfortable with one of the largest bathrooms we have ever had in a guest house . The tea , coffee etc were topped up daily and our rooms cleaned . During our weeks stay our beds and towels were changed . The owners made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable . The breakfast s were lovely and cooked to order . We had some very enjoyable outing following advice from the owners , a visit to the theatre , the best place to see squirrels and seals on the beach and even a fab flea market. We would recommend this guest house and will visit again next time we are in Great Yarmouth. The guesthouse was also within walking distance of the town and pier .

There was nothing we didn’t like .

We had a lovely spacious room with a sea view & very comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean & the towels were very good quality & smelt beautiful ! Breakfast was delicious & I especially liked the plain yoghurt & fresh red fruits before the well cooked full english. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay great. It's only a few minutes walk to the prom & it was perfect for us & we easily parked in front of the property.

Lovely place in a nice area, really close to the beach. Room was very modern with everything you could need. Breakfast was great, first place I've stayed where they cook exactly what you'd like, leaving no waste. Hosts were friendly and helpful. I was even able to store my luggage after I checked out, which was great.

Only negative, shower wasn't very powerful, and WiFi was weak. I think that was probably because I was in the top room though.

The Welcome was fantastic The Host immediately put you at ease, was humerous and informative. I loved that they addressed you by first name, giving you the feel of staying with friends. The room was clean and well set out. The breakfast was exceptional value and individually cooked fresh. Beautiful garden. Would definitely return. Close to ammienites but set away from the crowd.

Having to leave. Wanted to stay another night

First greeting was excellent, a very relaxed atmosphere and friendliness on arrival. Room and bathroom were large so plenty of space especially the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and room was well decorated and spotless clean. Very relaxed and enjoyable breakfasts , plenty of it and very well attended by Debbie and Arfa , nothing was too much trouble for them , excellent hosts.

Arthur was most helpful. A very accomodating host, just the right amount of chat without being intrusive. I requested a slightly earlier breakfast time from the posted times and Arthur went out of his way to help, especially in cooking a lovely full English. Room was clean & tidy, everything worked and it had all I needed including great internet on the second floor. Shower provided nice hot water although is smaller than I have at home but when you're paying budget prices I feel it unfair to be picky. I think the owners have put a lot of effort in to providing a great quality B&B at prices that are realistic. I was more than happy; thank you Arthur for being a great host. Top man!

Everything! The welcome from Debbie and Arthur was so welcoming! The room was so clean and tidy and when we went out the next day they cleaned the room ready for us again! Food was so yummy and the breakfast option had lots of choices, Everything you need is on the door step and you can walk everywhere. We liked that they saved a parking space for us so that we had one outside the guest house and we then didn’t have to move the car until we left. Amazing trip away and stay we didn’t want to leave to go home. we have recommend to family and we are already looking at a stay again in June.

I loved the attention to detail. I know it sounds a bit daft but two small things that no other hotel has ever achieved, amongst loads of other things that were appreciated. Plasters supplied for if you’d cut yourself on the beach, Small pair of scissors provided at breakfast to cut open the sauce sachets for people who struggle with those sort of things. And so many other things, that may seem insignificant, but to me are important. Towels provided, okay most do, but flannel as well? Thank you for a lovely stay.
