LOVELY VIEW STAFF EXCELLENT VERY INFORMED POLITE AND WILLING TO HELP LOCATION WAS PERFECT AS TO ACCESSING LOCAL AMINITIES WE DIDNT ORDER BREAKFAST BUT IT SMELT AMAZING. WAS OVER ALL VERY CLEAN (APART FROM A COUPLE OF THING) WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

ONLY FAULT WAS ON A TINY BIT OF HOUSE KEEPING THE TEA TRAY WAS A LITTLE DUSTY AND WE HAD TO WASH THE CUPS AND SPOONS BEFORE USE DUE TO QUITE A BIT OF DUST THE SAME WITH THE TV REMOTE THAT WAS REALLY QUITE DUSTY ALSO THE WINDOWS HAD BIRD MUCK ON THEM BUT THIS WASNT ANYTHING THAT WOULD PREVENT US STAYING AGAIN

Lovely, friendly and attentive staff. Couldn't have been more helpful. Place spotless. My single room upgraded to a small double, so very good value for money. Hotel very conveniently situated along the seafront. As I'm disabled parking onsite particularly helpful. Super salmon and scrambled egg breakfast. Food and coffee plentiful. Superb view of sea from dining room. Although I didn't use this having a bar, again overlooking the sea, is a real bonus during the day as well as in the evening.

As this is an old building there is some noise from creaking floorboards above if you are on a lower floor. There is a lift if an upper floor is required and stairs are a problem.

Functional clean hotel in good place on the sea front. Good choice of breakfasts which are charged on top of the price of the hotel, expertly cooked. Really comfortable beds in clean white bed linen. Town, amusements and cinema all in a couple of minutes walking.

Would have liked a comfy lounge with armchairs to relax and read papers but only had a bar to sit in. TV in room had very poor reception which dropped out when bathroom door opened.

Last visited 50 years ago for our honeymoon. Vast improvement internally. This was our Golden wedding anniversary and I chose based on this only. Our room exceeded expectations and the walk in shower was great. Smart TV's just like at home. Great central location. Had the full English breakfast and quantity & quality were fully appreciated, The second breakfast we both had lighter options again excellent quality. Staff very helpful and friendly. A great run business.

The only downside was there was no evening meal in the hotel, however, they did have a sister hotel that offered this which was just a short walk away.

the position of the hotel was good it was not too far to walk and it was very pleasant sitting outside and having a drink and watching the world go by. The room was very large and I am not easily pleased but I was pleasantly surprised, we would go back here and we will be booking again soon, the kitchen and the dining room were very clean and although we did not eat here as we were meeting up with friends I would recommend this hotel like a shot. The staff and managers could not have been more welcoming and pleasant. Our room was ground floor and I will be asking to stay in it again on our next stay.

nothing, The bed could have been mine as we all prefer our own and I am not a good sleeper but if I wanted anything else it would be a shelf for the wash bag near to the sink and fully stocked mini bar ha ha.

A well appointed "basic" room with a comfy bed and a very good en-suite shower. A nice breakfast which isn't included in the room price. Perhaps a bit pricey at £12 for the full English but smaller portions were also available. Very good breakfast team serving, well done! Good bed, firm but not hard. Right on the sea front, Just a few hundred yards from the North pier.

Had to tighten the wing nuts on the toilet seat by hand on arrival. (Most hotels seem to have a habit of loose toilet seats.) No air-con in the room so had to have the window open, and neighbouring building was having some sort of party. Parking the car (only a Ford Focus) was a very tight squeeze in the rear car park. *Please supply a couple of pegs outside the wardrobe for wet coats.*

All staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent service . Breakfast was perfect

i upgraded my room on arrival because the room we was allocated was pleasant but a little small. we took the Trafalgar room with balcony it was clean and a larger room . But for over £800 for 3 days the price was excessive for what you got . The fire alarm went off on our last day at 5am , There was no night staff on duty and it took over 30 minutes for the owner to show up from a different location and turn the alarm off

Perfect location on the seafront. Close to beach, amusements, everything you need and want is within walking distance. Once we arrived, we didn't have to use the car until we were ready to leave. The staff was amazing from stepping in the door until we left. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay again

Superb location only a stones throw to Britannia Pier and Joyland. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable.

Creaking floorboards and thin walls meant lots of unavoidable noises most noticeable at nighttime. Shower was extremely temperamental veering from hot to cold at the slightest touch (and I assume if another room started to use)

very clean, comfortable rooms for the most part. TV was modern and had netflix and amazon etc. Breakfast was very good, breakfast room very clean. staff very helpful and happy. Ample parking which was free and easy to access.

Breakfast room and bedroom chairs were a little worn and could do with replacing. There was a plumbing issue but not the fault of the hotel as work was being done.
