Perfect location, easy to get to, close to the town centre but also very easy to get in and out ogf Great Yarmouth. Lovely friendly staff, great room with perfect sea view, lots of parking, the food is divine! Not only is breakfast incredible, but you must dine here in the evening, it simply can't be missed!

Can't think of anything we didn't like, the whole experience was supurb.

Breakfast & Dinner were superb, room was a good size, in a good location on the 3rd floor with sea view also very clean with daily maid service, bathroom facilities were also excellent will definitely stay there again.

Bed could have been a little softer and was a little lumpy as we both had slight back ache in the mornings. Old style lift was ok as long as other guests shut both doors properly, a new style lift may be an advantage. Parking could be improved by a ticket on the windscreen with registration number on it to show you are a guest as it seems there is no restriction to parking for non residents who could park there if they are not using the hotel.

Superbly located on the front and opposite the start for parkrun (if you're a parkrun tourist you'll know). You can eat breakfast on a beautiful veranda overlooking the beach.

Parking is not easy. The hotel car park is like tetris, busy and extremely tight to manoeuvre into spaces. The entirety of breakfast is served to you at your table which means service is slow and laborious. If drinks and cereals were on a buffet, it would be much quicker. It's an old building so it's cramped and tight to get around and the layout is a little confusing. Weddings feature heavily at the hotel and can either attract or detract from your evening/experience dependent on the party (one wedding ended very abruptly on one evening we were there). The only place that can take card payments is the front reception so not ideal for bar service.

Great location, friendly staff and free car park. The customer service was great from booking right up until checkout. Breakfast included in the booking was lovely. We were able to have this on the terrace on a nice sunny morning and felt like we were abroad! Amazing breakfast choices all table service and cooked to order. Recently. Staff were great I needed a glass of milk for my son before bedtime and the staff were quickly able to arrange this at no extra cost.

Family room of 3 was quite small and the bathroom was tiny. We only had a shower cubicle which was very small and it was very difficult to shower my 2 year old in there.

This really exceeded our expectations in every way. Our guide book was a little sniffy about Great Yarmouth and our main purpose in staying here was to cover the life of John Sell Cotman who lived in Gt Yarmouth for some 12 years. The hotel has an old-fashioned feel but the staff are all so enthusiastic, clearly love working there, and have pride in the hotel and in the town itself. The restaurant was top quality fine dining and the wine list was well chosen and very reasonably priced. A great 2015 Savigny Les Beaune for £39. The owner is a fully trained sommelier and it shows!

I stayed at the Imperial whilst in Great Yarmouth for work overnight. I found the hotel really charming. The traditional seaside hotel feel had been maintained (lovely to see touches like historic photos and the traditional lift) but at the same time the seaview bedroom was modern, spotlessly clean and had a super comfy bed with crisp linen. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the fact it was cooked fresh to order rather than buffet. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was for an electric car charger and staff made sure it was free for me to use. I would definitely visit again.

Breakfast: good choice, could have anything on breakfast menu. Over the week we had porridge, cooked breakfast, egg Benedict, breakfast sundae. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Our 3rd floor room was fine, clean and had a view of the car park and Venetian waterways. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and was roomy. The housekeeper was friendly and thorough. Reception Staff were also friendly and helpful. We found the car park a bit of a struggle as parking was diagonal which meant there was no room to turn . Having reversed into a space when the car park was fairly empty, we left the car and walked everywhere. Having said that, it was a lovely hotel.

Car park. Diagonal parking meant a lot of cars had to reverse out to the road in a limited space.

Breakfast amazing. Staff welcoming and friendly. Courtesy email during stay to link account to check how much spent. Courtesy email after check out to ask for personal feedback and contact them directly if staying again with a loyalty code for future bookings. Location. Quiet, comfy rooms. Sea views, big windows allowing a lot of light in. Efficient Aircon a godsend at night. Free car parking on first come first served basis. Some pets welcome. Draught real ale (local) in bar.

Nothing, really. Everything met and exceeded expectations. Evening meal is pricey, but as long as you're aware of that it's up to you to dine there. Plenty of options on menu or in vicinity if not..

We stayed in one of the ‘Best Sea view’ rooms with a ‘Juliet’ balcony. Lovely room, spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee etc. replenished daily. Milk in jug replaced and left in fridge every day as was bottled water. Huge comfy bed. Lovely sea view. Large TV. Fab bathroom and shower. Air conditioning a great addition too. Breakfast was excellent, lovely hot food too. Tea and coffee freshly brewed and brought to table. Friendly staff.

The stairs! Very old lift with two heavy doors that had to be manually opened. Difficult for someone with mobility problems. Door keys a little difficult to use especially with arthritic fingers! Car park - parking tight with very little space to manoeuvre vehicles. No barriers so anyone could park in there. It would be nice if just hotel patrons were allowed to park.

We booked the best sea view option. As the hotel is pet friendly, we were originally planning on bringing our dog with us, so decided to opt for a room with more space. Fantastic view of sea, a balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the pleasant evenings, large comfy bed and fantastic bathroom (with waterfall shower). Last year we stayed at a property nearby and paid a similar amount. The Imperial offered a far better experience and worth every penny. The bar was also a nice option for a night cap. Great choice of light and cooked breakfasts. The dinner menu for the on site Terrace restaurant offered a good variety of options. We'll definitely be back

There wasn't anything that I didn't like more what would have been nice. An outdoor seating area for drinks would have been a nice option. There were a couple of benches at the front of the hotel but not somewhere you'd take a drink to sit and enjoy.
