Location was excellent & we chose a room with a view of the estuary & yachts berthed directly outside. The property is the Royal Air Force Yacht Club so more suited I think for couples who are not expecting entertainment for young kids on site. Nice bar & outside seating overlooking the yachts & good bar prices too. Hamble village right on the doorstep. The property does not offer formal meals at all but there are places to eat within a 5 minute walk - a very nice restaurant is next door on Banana Wharf.

Convenient no fuss check in and out, trusted to access the property and collect the key. Perfect for an overnight stay to see relatives. Easy parking. Very close to foreshore. Good value.

Everything was famtastic

The only problem was the false blind in the room. As we were early to bed, the car park light shone in our room, as we could not close the blind, and as it got light at 4.30 ish it was daylight in our room at that time. If there was a blind behind the pretty one that you could pull down that would help the sleep. Not really a complaint but definately an observation. Had a great stay, once against

Very well organised and welcoming. Room very clean and well equipped with kettle, TV and fan but a couple more teabags would have been even better. Lovely to have a drink outside in the garden overlooking the yacht moorings. Only a moments walk to pubs and excellent Jennys cafe for breakfast.

Only that it was very hot because of the heatwave and the shower door in the twin room was difficult to close.

The great view from the window, the bed was comfortable and the quietness during the night... A nice car park with plenty of space. Located near some nice restaurants and bars... When I booked I thought it was booking a guest house and did not realize it was a Yacht Club which surprised me on my arrival. I would definitely stay again...

Generally very good only a few minors: In the bathroom, the toilet was in front of the basin, therefore, a little difficult to use and the cleanness of the shower could be improved...

The location was very good, and the view from the room was great. The room itself was fine, very clean and had all that was needed. It and particularly the Shower/toilet were small and it perhaps would have been crowded if I was not alone. There was no breakfast, which gave me the opportunity of trying the Beach café, which had good food and a spectacular location.

Although it was not an issue for me, one did have to seek for staff if you wanted attention. When found, usually busy with the operation of the venue as the RAF Sailing Club, they were helpful and provided the information or help I needed.

Nice clean room in a lovely location. Good size and Beds were pretty comfortable. Great local pub near by, the victory, decent meal there too.

We happened to stay on probably the hottest couple of nights of this summer, not Aircon but not too much of an issue as there is a fan. We didn't have enough time to have a good look around the river, well do that next time!

Great location and very good value for money. Staff were friendly and the view is lovely. Would definitely book again when we are in the area.

Nowhere to hang your wet towels, could do with hooks on the back of the door. Also there is no plug socket near the mirror which made drying your hair difficult. Could do with a longer cord on the hair dryer.

I stayed one night during a work trip and the room provided all I needed. The wifi was adequate for emails etc, the bed was very comfortable and the tea/coffee making facilities were welcome. Lovely view of the sunrise over the marina in the morning. I didn't dine or use the bar but it looked welcoming. Handy for Hamble bars and restaurants. Overall I was very pleased with the accommodation and will certainly book again if I return to the area.

Needed somewhere to stay close to Southampton docks for a brilliant half-day cruise on the steamship SS Shieldhall. We loved the location, the room, the handy bar & the friendliness of the staff. It was so convenient to have a snack without having to book the nearby eateries/bars, which were all fully reserved. Definitely would book again if we were visiting the area.

The only issue we had in Room 3, was the noise/vibration from the kitchen area, but it stopped by 10:45 - after that, it was peaceful and we both slept well. Not a biggie, but ladies... remember your toiletries, as only basic handwash is supplied. I didn't have an issue with this as I prefer to take my own on my travels anyway.
