Very convenient location, free parking available. Bus stop into Southampton right outside the inn. Very friendly & helpful staff. Room was spacious & clean Spent a lovely evening in the Inn playing pool with my son.

Easy to find, clean modern room with TV and tea making facilities. Shared bathroom was fine too. Twin single beds ideal for a short overnight stay. Parking outside. Ale in the pub was nice.

Room was very hot when we arrived with little ventilartion. Road outside could be noisy. Nowhere to hang anything. But after a long day it was comfotable enough for a good sleep.

The room was very clean and quite uncluttered and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was conveniently across the road from a petrol station and shop.

It was a bit noisy with the pub downstairs, but it was a Friday night and there was football on, so to be expected. It was just pretty basic, but very clean room and we were only there for the night so it was all good.

The room and ensuite were immaculate and comfortable. Included wifi, tea/coffee making, large screen TV, good sized shower and lots of hot water. Parking available and secure access separate from the downstairs pub. Location is between a busy road and a railway line but is surprisingly quiet and very convenient too. Also we heard no noise at all from the downstairs pub.

Bed linens were not v nice.

Lovely good sized rooms, comfortable beds and a good location to Southampton city centre. Room was really clean and had everything you need (tea,coffee, and bathroom items). Really helpful and friendly owner who let us store our luggage until we were ready to leave for our cruise. Good value for money - would stay again.

It was awesome. AND they have a nice giftshop where you are able to buy different this round about “The Swan Inn” :-). It was so beautiful and on the other side the road at the Garage you can buy some baps or sandwiches. The parking space is infront of the house and for free.

The room was very well laid out, with a comfy double bed and small bed. We took our toddler with us and although she still slept in her travel cot she was quite happy to relax on the single. There was plenty of tea, coffee and milk sachets for a morning cuppa or three. Having a mini fridge helped so we could store some while milk overnight ready for breakfast in the morning. The bathroom was well cleaned and the shower was lovely. The attaching bar was very cosy, we had a lovely few drinks in the beer garden and listening to the passing trains ahead was quite nice, there wasn’t too many passing at night or early in the morning. Once in our room you could hardly hear the cars. The lady who helped us was lovely and we’d gladly stay again. Overall a good place for an overnight stay.

The only issue we found was that the road next to it is very busy so getting in to park was a bit difficult as we arrived in rush hour. The car park was very small but we were dropped off so it didn’t affect us too much.

We stayed overnight en route from the Isle of Wight to Worcester, following my elderly parents' move. The room was very clean and well equipped and the landlady was very helpful; she was happy for us to order a Dominos pizza and eat it in the pub whilst having a drink so that we didn't have to drive out. Very much appreciated.

Bus stop right opposite for easy access to City centre. Basic room. Very comfortable bed. We had a triple deluxe with lovely shower with plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner and fridge in room. Good stock of Tea making facilities. Lovely friendly staff and nice clean bar. Pool and darts if you fancy a game.

Parking a bit hit and miss as very limited spaces and quite a walk to any off road parking.

lovely and clean. plenty of room to set up our cot bed for the night before cruise. short walk into the town (20 minutes) we used park with glen for our cruise parking and he lives over the road and recommended here.

doesn’t include any food would be lovely to have even a small continental breakfast available but we walked to bills in the town wasn’t any hassle. extension cord needed for the kettle limited parking
