The staff couldn't do enough to try to please us everyone made an effort, the rooms were lovely and comfortable.

Unfortunately there was a problem with breakfast we think it was first day teething troubles, Tuesday was a bit of a disaster, Wednesday was fine but Thursday it went back to the same as Tuesday. The head waiter tried her best to get everything on track but the problem seemed to come from the kitchen I'm sure everything will be sorted in the coming days. It did not spoil our stay.

The room was lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable (soft sheets and good mattress), the shower was great, and the view of the Royal Baths just across the street was delightful. It was close to everything - restaurants, the main town area, and gorgeous gardens to explore. An exceptional stay, genuinely.

Nothing - I couldn't have been happier.

Excellent choice and a great selection of cooked breakfast or continental breakfast. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The cleaners kept the place spick and span. Really enjoyed our stay. But best of all, is when we got into the car, it wouldn’t start , the battery was dead, I then went to reception and asked if someone could help me. Then to my surprise about 4 employees followed me to my car to give it a push, twice, but didn’t start. Then I think it was the cook came-out and set up some jump leads from his car to mine, and then got my car started. 🥳. There was nothing I didn’t like about the Harrogate Inn.

I love the staff and their values on all my stays.

unfortunately I paid for breakfast in advance and regretted it afterwards. The sole reason not in the usual designated area. I was told nicely pick your food up from the library and eat where one is comfortable. There was a function in the normal breakfast area that took priority. This morning I left the Hotel without having breakfast even though I paid. Not nice I want to visit the Hotel every month but please can I have breakfast in the right area. I am not asking for any refund. I love your staff and Hotel. Sorry just being honest about the question I was asked. regards

The hotel was ideally placed in the centre of Harrogate, was spotlessly clean and made the most of the period features. All the staff we met whether housekeeping, reception or restaurant went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and the family room I shared with three more adults was huge - more like a suite than a room with a king size bed and two single beds. The buffet breakfast had something for everyone and all was good quality.

It was a shame that the car park was full when we got there at tea time as although a good size for a hotel car park, the hotel was obviously well booked. We did manage to park overnight on the next street up and then we’re able to move down to the car park next morning after the checkout time and the £10 parking fee was fair.

Location Fabulous however parking an issue with contractors and staff taking paying guests spaces. Front of House Renovation Superb however Rooms Poor and in need of a deep clean. Inconsistent room amenities.

Lift not working. Parking terrible contractors and staff using up paying guest spaces. Parking Spaces compromised because of double parking. Reception in bar area. Morning check out was a queue because of guests all complaining. Girl on reception was not interested Not sure if she was new as no uniform looked an after thought. Breakfast was sub standard.

Beautiful downstairs.. couldn't fault it. Food delicious.. need to roll that out upstairs rooms let it down a bit.. they are nice but not what expected after seeing the opulence on the ground floor..

Lift didn't work.. didn't really have any urgency in getting it fixed.. took my nana who is 90 years old .. only booked it cause they had a lift.. we were scheduled for the 2nd floor but they got us rooms on the 1st floor.. Still had flight and a half of stairs for a 90 year old its like a mountain young girl on reception was lovely though.

lovely hotel, great staff , food really nice . although i think our room is still one to be refurbished. downside the lift wasn’t working and after knee surgery i found that hard as was expecting a lift when i booked .a low step at the bottom of the stairs i felt needs a marker on to show its a-step . i tripped twice and know of 2 others who nearly fell . we did point this out when checking out so hope it gets sorted . oh and the shower didnt drain which we mentioned so hopefully that will be sorted . i would stay there again no problem

The public areas, bar and restaurant have been really nicely refurbished. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got a really good midweek price.

I booked a room specifically because it said it had a bath but it didn’t but, to be fair, I think this was booking.com not the hotel. They did try to move us but there wasn’t a room with a both available. The staff/kitchen seemed to get a bit overwhelmed in the evening as we waited an hour between our starters and mains.

Convenient for central Harrogate. Not far from train station. Location in general. Easy to find. Baggage storage available until room ready and after vacated room. Friendly staff. Good shower. Hair dryer provided. Good wardrobe with hangers. Clean. Great breakfast in the dining room. Plenty of seating, not cramped. Hot drinks tray and kettle.

Expel-air fan in bathroom did not work, reported. Flush on toilet didnt always work, also reported. Room was cosy but that was stated when booking and was expected. Not all rest areas, as shown in photographs, were open. Evening dining was held in the library, making the library unavailable. Limited car parking.
