Twyford Farm B&B0

Great place a REAL working farm, with pigs, sheep etc. Got to feed a little lamb with a bottle of milk. The dogs were gorgeous! If you're driving don't take a lowered car! There is a ford to cross if going to the pub for dinner. The signal is a bit sketchy so sat nav may take you off course. May advise is call the B&B ahead of travel to get a few extra directions. They are so lovely and have a great giggle. Plus the pub 'The Green Man' all are fantastic too. Huge meals great price, everyone friendly and such a peaceful place to be in. 200-plus acres of the beautiful quiet English countryside! If you're driving, I would suggest bringing your own alcohol for the evening once you're back to the B&B.

GPS signal in the countryside, but that's what you expect from being in the countryside! Not the B7B's fault at all! They do have WIFI once you're there. Don't take a fancy car.. the roads are small, narrow and not friendly to a lowered vehicle lol.

The hosts were very friendly, kind and helpful. The farm is in a rural area and not particularly difficult to find (my satnav found it easily). You really are in a beautiful area that is worth experiencing! Breakfast was excellent and the hosts went out of their way to make me feel welcome and to help.

Some of the local roads are a little narrow and a bit treacherous (for instance there is a tiny ford to cross that has a pothole in it), but that's nothing to do with the property.

A delightful farmhouse in a beautiful setting, right in tge middle of nowhere. Very quiet. My room had so much character and the adorable little pony running up and down the field next to tge farmhouse certainly kept me very entertained! 😄 Everything was clean and had so much character! The hosts were very pleasant and the breakfast was delicious!

Not the easiest place to get to, but I think that is part of the charm. verything was great!

Twyford Farm is situated in a beautiful area, surrounded by rolling countryside and ancient woodland. The building is half timbered with pretty gardens leading onto agricultural fields. The room we had was traditionally furnished with pretty soft furnishings in pastel shades. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served in a pleasant dining room where fellow guests chatted about their plans for he day. We would definitely recommend Twyford Farm.

The seat nave takes a very convoluted route. Taking the road at Wych Cross is much more direct.

It was a quiet, relaxed setting with a really comfortable bed. Large room with a big bathroom. Really nice breakfast and particularly good wifi which was needed as there was virtually no mobile coverage. Good value for the price.

Really remote, and a challenging drive in for someone not used to very narrow roads. It was partly my fault as I arrived late in the dark.

The location was excellent and easy to find. The hosts were kind and took my late arrival at 9pm in their stride. The room was charming. The bed comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed with a shower and bath and toiletries. The coffee tea and cookie were very welcome after my travel and my full English breakfast was amazing as it’s all lovely local produce.

Beautiful house in a very peaceful location. Room had everything we needed and a lovely comfortable bed. Huge bathroom and plenty of hot water for a relaxing bath. Breakfast the next morning was very good quality and tasted lovely.

Nothing really, lots of potholes on the roads leading to the property but the whole country has these and nothing the property could have done about it

A beautiful, quiet location. Lovely walks through the farm land to take in nature at its best. The bluebells in the woods were a sight to behold, and certainly some of the best we've seen for years. The accommodation was very comfortable and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Very convenient for visiting several National Trust properties and Wakehurst.

Perfect hosts. I stayed in bluebell season, so after a long drive it was great to stretch my legs. I was provided a walk through the bluebells woods on the farm that were looking their best. A beautiful location.

The farmhouse is not soundproofed so you do get to hear what is happening in the kitchen below, but it was not late nor did it impact on my enjoyment.

Idyllic location, great hosts & a cooked breakfast to die for! (served on a really hot plate, a personal must have) Spotlessly clean & very comfortable bedrooms. A hidden gem..but don't tell anyone!

Not the easiest of places to find - as Bob said, we'd completed the third side of a triangle! Even using google maps. But well worth it.
