Absolutely lovely place to stay. 5 stars for EVERYTHING! Fab staff, fab, spotless room. Amazing shower, that has controls on outside of shower, as well as inside. Plush carpeting everywhere. 24hr access through private entrance when pub is closed. Amazing, fresh, food - no microwave rubbish. Would definitely stay again. Luckily, my search parameters was distance from a location, otherwise, this wouldn't have appeared in my search, if I had put "include properties that provide breakfast in the price" Buxted Inn, you may be missing out on business for not including breakfast in the price...?? You can order breakfast, however, once there.

Room was good and clean and modern looking. Toilet and shower of a good standard, bed was comfortable and big and had a comfortable nights sleep. Would stay here again.

Just to point out to the owners on a few maintenance matters, nothing major but would be good if they could be looked at. Coving coming away slightly where the bathroom is, paint scuff on wall, dig in wall to right hand side of the window, poor fill and paint job in toilet where I presume an old toilet roll holder might have been. Bedroom lights flickering quite bad as well.

It was a perfect location for us to stay as we we attending a wedding in nearby Wilderness Wood

, £220 a 2 night without breakfast was very expensive. We had breakfast on the first morning from a very good menu. We couldn't believe that everything was itemised on the bill. Most places we have stayed either include breakfast in the accommodation price or they would charge a full English breakfast price and a continental breakfast price. Drinks, toast, cereal etc would be included in the breakfast price.

Beautifully decorated and recently refurbished large rooms with comfy beds,lovely bathroom with digitally controlled shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room good value and option for breakfast which was a wide choice of well cooked hot items so could select what wanted and still good value. Loved the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Had evening meal twice and good selection of food and an excellent mobile pizza van parked outside on a Monday evening as kitchen not open that evening allowed to eat inside As a pub didn't notice any noise. Good location in Sussex and large car park and noticed train station nearby

All good and enjoyed it all.

Personally I like good lighting above a mirror for doing makeup etc and neither the bathroom mirror nor the dressing table mirror had any lighting at all. Just a personal preference but it would have made all the difference to my experience. Also, the shower door had obviously been broken so had been replaced by a shower curtain which meant that it was difficult to stop water splashing onto the bathroom floor.

Had a lovely, spotlessly clean room with a fan provided to help stay cool which was so appreciated! The bed was comfortable and there were sufficient pillows and towels. The room and bathroom were a decent size and the facilities were very good. The shower had good power and pressure and was extremely straightforward to use. There was an iron and ironing board available on the landing for guest use plus hairdryer in the room. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Literally the single thing I could complain about is that the only socket in the room was located under the night stand which made using the hair dryer a little awkward - another wall socket in a more convenient/less constricted spot would have been ideal.

I was in the area for the first time for friends wedding and I found immediately lovely staff at the reception, ready to help, same at the rooms floor. Nice and well equipped rooms, high-tech shower :). Events confirmed my first impression: Greg went beyond his duty to find us a ride back from the wedding reception at night after we had troubles with taxis. My very positive experience at the buxted inn extended beyond my one night stay, since the staff helped me getting back my sunglasses in one piece, forgotten there during my stay. Thanks again! If I come back in the area, I will definitely opt for the buxted inn again

The contemporary design of the hotel. The room was very clean & had everything needed for a comfortable stay. There's a great Mira power shower. We ate both breakfast & dinner, which was very well presented & extremely tasty. There's a vast range of drinks on offer, which were also of high quality. The staff are extremely friendly & so helpful. Excellent customer service all round. Highly recommend The Buxted Inn & wouldn't hesistate to stay here again! Keep up the excellent work.

On a busy main road, but this can't be changed. One minor thing. Please bin the throws on the bed & buy new ones, as they now look tired.

Lovely renovated property, Mira shower, heated bathroom mirror, electronic door entry system. Clean comfy bed and bathroom As a solo female business traveller I felt safe. Staff were all helpful. It was quiet although on the road going through the village. Lots of free parking at the rear. I liked the look of the menu (gastro pub offerings) but no food served on a Monday evening but they had a wood fired Pizza van outside which smelt delicious and you can eat it in the pub dining area. They do gluten free pizzas if you pre-order! Will make this one of my favourite stopovers on my travels.

The room was warm and the window didn't open much but they provided a fan in the room.

Room was really clean and had everything you needed. Location was perfect for us as we had a wedding at Buxted Park the next day. Staff were really attentive and accommodating. Snazzy gadgets in the room.

Bed was not comfortable and the room was incredibly hot - window could be opened but noise from main road/bin men is loud. Would have thought that breakfast would have been included as standard with any B&B, especially as a Four in a bed winner!
