Really clean, really nice place to stay. I didn't see any staff there, they need to put at least a picture of the owner haha :) They text me every detail on what's app they send me a picture of everything that i need i just go inside like i am at home. Perfect organisation. If i go to King's Lynn i definetely will go to this house again.

They need to think for some soundproofing fence there, because it's on too much traffic and its noisy from cars. They just need to change the blanket's every 3 days when you stay longer ( i am sure they will do it if i massage them).

Really good location with ample parking 1 minute away. The door code system is really easy and allows great flexibility. Comfortable bed and a very well appointed room.

It’s not really a dislike, more a suggestion. We were unlucky in that it was exceptionally warm when we stayed, so we needed to leave the window open (it’s a pretty busy road) and use the fan. The fan was good, but very noisy. I would suggest either trying to get a quieter fan. Air con would be too expensive for a small business, even portable units, but a quieter (maybe wall mounted) fan would make for a more comfortable sleep.

I was absolutely gob smacked when I see the room absolutely beautiful clean tidy right the way down to the towels folded on the bed to a lovely selection of tea coffee and everything could not fault it at all walked into the kitchen again absolutely beautiful look like a showroom clean tidy absolutely spotless not a Mark anywhere from what I could see Helen is such a lovely lady a real diamond respectful genuine very polite and very helpful if you have any problems Best place is worth five stars all day long can not fold it at all

I couldn't find anything I didn't like it was so easy to use and everything

Everything was spotlessly clean. My room was large and the decor was very attractive. I was glad there was a fan as the weather was very hot. I had to use a shared bathroom which was large, modern and spotless. I never saw anyone else using it. There is also a wonderful, modern kitchen with everything you would need to self cater. Outside is a secluded garden with tables and chairs. A lot of thought and effort has gone into designing this place.

Nothing. Even the main road outside my room didn't bother me at night. But the steep stairs would be hard for some people.

The room was very comfortable with lots of tea bags, coffee, milk and even a snack. The bathroom had an electric toothbrush charger !! Amazing idea. Mini fridge also lovely . Access to shared kitchen and garden ,although i did not use these, were both lovely and well thought through. Helen was a great host, very informative, and helpfu messages were sent prior to my stay, and l would definitely stay again if in the area. Near a local pub and shop. Access to free parking..

Tv reception was glichy. However, netflix made up for it .

Small single room as described. Super comfy. Super clean. Very quiet overlooking backyard. Excellent communication from host. Very easy self access with code Location very good. One minute from bus stop and easy 5- 10 min walk to train and main historic area Wifi fast and stable

Just a comment. Strong smell of air freshener in entry area and room. Not ideal for folk with sensitivities and allergies. Increasingly recognised as containing toxic chemicals for lungs health and environment. Other than that lovely property. Highly recommend.

The room was clean & comfortable. The access to Netflix, as well as a fridge in the room to keep my water cold & a free car park a short walk around the back of the property, were all nice bonuses. I also used the messaging service to request something & that issue was resolved within that day.

I only have a couple of very slights issues. I had booked 2 rooms at the site (one for a friend) & when we arrived shortly after the check-in time, only one of the rooms was ready. The maid was very apologetic & moved straight to my room to prepare it. It was ready within about 20 mins & as I had my friend's room to wait in, this was no big issue. Also, as the accommodation is on a fairly main road, there was a tad of background traffic noise with the window open. Again, the TV would mask the noise if in during the day & the traffic was much less during the night & so not really a big problem at all.

Everything! I have stayed at Brick Sage Rooms many times over three years and Helen's high standards have not slipped one little bit. The attention to detail is amazing - providing charging cables, emergency toothbrushes, a welcome sweet treat on the hot drink tray after a long journey. Fluffy towels, quality shower gel, electric blankets, extra bedding for cold nights, ear plugs and much more. The cleanliness is excellent as is the communication leading to stay with clear instructions on door codes, wi-fi etc. Highly recommended.

comfy, warm beds with electric blanket which was nice for us. The bath was so relaxing and the shower was too. Towels and shower soap provided which was a nice addition. Only slight issue was walking up 2 floors to get to it but not a big deal. Toilet in that room too and also on ground floor where we were sleeping. Very peaceful and quiet ambience and didn’t get rushed to leave at check out time which was 11am. The car park was right behind the building which was a minute walk through the alleyway.

As mentioned, it wasn’t a problem for us but if you are less able bodied, getting to and from the bathroom might be a struggle going up 2 flights of stairs. The car park also was a bit messy because of scaffolding but that’s not their fault. I didn’t use the wifi or TV much but when we did, we had no signal on any channel and Netflix wasn’t working for us but we weren’t in the room much anyway.

The Bricksage's Southgate is by far one of the best accommodation we've stayed at in King's Lynn, Norfolk, based on our expectations and needs. We had an en suite with shower and the kitchen with high specification modcons. We liked that we can cook for ourselves eg breakfast and dinner when necessary. There's an off licence next door which was so handy. It was nice to sit outside in the garden, very clean place and well tended. Car parking is free and just a few minutes walk. Helen, the most kind and considerate host, she's very accommodating and supportive and will do anything to make your stay most comfortable and less hassle. We liked the hassle free checking in. No matter what time you arrive, the room is ready and it's super easy just follow the instructions. Else, Helen is just a phone call away, literally anytime. We really liked the place that we've booked in for a good few nights next summer. We look forward to our next stay

The room we got was facing a main road so the traffic noise takes a while to get used to, if not wearing earplugs that was so kindly provided with the room. We're a bit unlucky this time as there was a road sign work done right in front of the building late at night. We couldn't sleep due to the noise of the huge truck so we watched the workmen instead, unusual for us but amazed at how they've done the road signs.
