Super large twin beds, spacious room, very clean, a very effective fan provided plus ample tea/coffee. Very affordable.

The immediate location was very run down with no facilities, and the first impressions of the pub from the exterior were off putting on arrival. Personally struggled a little with the narrow, two flights of stairs and need to go through the kitchen out onto a decked area to access the rooms. The ensuite and shower cubicle were bijou. But the comfort of the beds and cleanliness of the room offset these issues. The accommodation is quite basic but value for money and perfectly acceptable for a night or two.

Please don't be fooled by the title/name of the premises, there was no restaurant and apparently there hasn't been for over a year. The room was spotless and the pub was lively with great live music, which was a nice surprise, the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Described with restaurant facilities, we thought we would have had a meal on arrival and breakfast. But this wasn't a problem as there were restaurants, take a ways within walking distance.

Theo property itself isn’t a great location, but the staff were nice and the room was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable, the big fan in the room helped in the heatwave we were having. The bathroom was small but adequate. The rate for the room was fair given the location but all in all was a good experience.

The cleaner came in the room before the exit time. She knocked once then came in.

The accommodation is clean and spacious, excellent shower and comfy beds. It was easy to find and park nearby, plenty of space and very quiet. I would definitely stay again if I need a room in the area.

My only reservation in recommending it too strongly was that I had to collect the keys and the wifi code from the bar in the pub during a fairly rowdy pub disco. Not a problem for me but might deter the faint hearted. The rooms are quite a long way from the disco so there are no noise issues.

I stayed at "The Riverside" en route (Cycling) down to Norfolk from near Hull. The place is very easy to find and upon arrival, the staff made me feel extremely welcome and were very friendly. My room was bigger than expected and very clean. I'd read they do a damn fine pint of Guinness, so i felt i needed to put this to the test... TASTY!!! (i sampled a few more). I had a meal later on in the day "Bangers and Mash" and will be having it again when i stay there for the night on my return journey next week. Very pleased i booked into this place :)

It was cloudy outside.

Great value for money with friendly (and helpful) staff. Considering I was a woman travelling alone, I was wary about staying above a pub but it was absolutely fine and felt very safe. The room was VERY quiet.

I couldn't get the wifi to connect and the shower wasn't quite as strong as I would have liked.

Great Staff!!! The Bar Staff, Cleaners, Waitresses, everybody i met~ they were all very friendly and made me feel welcome as soon as i arrived. Friendly and chatty locals. It was very easy to find and was a perfect location for me on my North Lincolnshire to Norfolk/Suffolk bike ride/adventure. No complaints about my rooms on my 2 visits. Their food is very tasty~ i stayed there twice in a week and had Bangers and Mash both times. I'd read about the pints of Guinness they serve (great reviews) and so i had to test this... big call but possibly the best pints of the black stuff i've had outside of Ireland... Yummy! :)

The weather for August wasn't great! I'm guessing they can't control this??? ;)

Lovely comfy bed, spacious room, quiet at the back of the main building, safe parking in street and Sutton Bridge was a lovely little place. Housekeeping came every day.

The room was always very warm. A fan was provided which was really cooling, but it was a little too warm durijg the night some nights.

We arrived and the inn was closed but the landlady offered to open the bar just for us, to which we obliged. We asked if we could bring a dog which was no problem and she was allowed to roam the bar area. Very friendly and welcoming and lovely, clean and comfy room.
