The Heath Inn

Excellent food, great to be able to eat breakfast and dinner in the bar with our dog. Very polite staff.

greeted by lovely staff at the bar area, filled in details, informed of do’s and dont’s, given key to room, spacious clean and tidy, powerful shower, clean fresh towels, toiletries available to use. Accommodation is joined to the Heath Inn pub, nice cold pint, various selection of bears and ciders, ordered food and was a delightful meal, easy check out, no hassles what so ever.

Rob was professional and friendly well he's an Essex Boy he must be tops hey! The French Chef was really accomodating when I needed to eat quickly and welcoming

Food was excellent, especially the breakfast which was great value for money. There is plenty of parking, although when we arrived on the Friday, there was a function taking place and the car park was full. Would be a good idea to have parking kept free for guests only to use.

Water worked on a pressure system, so sometimes was slow to come through. Walls were very thin, we could here the 2 ladies next door talking until late at night.

We booked 3 rooms as an overnight stay enroute home from our holiday, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to assist us when we arrived late due to traffic., There was a music night that evening which was thoroughly enjoyable. We had evening meals which were very good. Breakfast was good and there is a nice outside seating area and plenty of parking. We were travelling with our dig which was made very welcome.

Beautiful setting, very friendly, helpful and courteous hotel staff including the evening bar staff, food was very nice, we had an evening meal and breakfast which were very well cooked and presented. For me, the unexpected addition of the Soul night DJ on the Friday night was great, friendly patrons, and an excellent atmosphere. We will definitely visit the Heath Inn again in the future

My only little niggles were that the water heater in our room was a little loud on times for short spells, and there is a bit of a short slope at the side of the Inn that my wife struggled with due to a medical condition, but we manage that with my support. Other than those two minor inconveniences, no complaints whatsoever, we had a lovely stay at the Heath Inn

We loved everything. Our bedroom was great and very comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner on both days that we were there and although there were a few problems in the kitchen due to the regular Chef being away, all meals were very good and all changes we requested were accommodated for with good grace and a smile. The staff were friendly and could not do enough to make us happy.

The lady I met on arrival was friendly & polite. She showed me to my room & gave all the information I required, firs exits, meeting points, switch for electric bath towel heater etc. the room was spotlessly clean, big mugs for tea & coffee (supplied) plenty of clothe storage. The location was perfect for work. The only very small thing was the furniture was dated. Like I say, very small observation.

Lovely village pub with comfy rooms. Despite the long wait for food, it was worth it.

There was one particular lady working behind the bar (middle aged) who was rather rude. Snatching glasses from our table and never asking us if would like more drinks, even though she had just taken a drinks order from the table next to us. Also, in Room 12 there is a very noisy water pump, luckily it quietened down during the night but it was rather disruptive.

Breakfast was awesome. Lady that checked us in was amazing.

When we sat down for breakfast, sat near window on a table for 4, there was 2 of us, asked to move by gentleman taking breakfast orders as there was only 2 of us, no problem, however once we'd moved, 2 ladies sat at the table and not asked to move. Shower was also not working in the room, water pressure was very low
