The Pheasant Inn0

Perfect place near the Luton train station (1km walking + 10 minutes by bus) and near the Luton airport (1km walking + 25 minutes by bus). The room was clean, breakfest was nice. I can recommend it for visiting London and surroundings.

Front reception staff was friendly . Smooth check in process. Considering I booked last minute and then checked in shortly afterwards. Room was clean and spacious. The common areas can do with some ourhall and more comfortable stairs. Beds were comfortable and I had a good night sleep. Although my room was on the main road.sound proofing for that room could be better. Shower was clean and enjoyable. Excellent breakfast. Overall a comfortable stay.

Decore in common areas especially needs updating. Toilet needs a bin.only bin was in room.Full length mirror in the rooms would be beneficial.

The staff were all lovely and made you feel at home. The bed was so comfortable, I had the best sleep I've had for a while. Tea, coffee, biscuits and water are provided in the room which was a nice touch. Everything was spotless and the room was as expected for one person. Breakfast was good and the coffee was absolutely perfect. It was lovely to hear the owner having a laugh with the ladies in the kitchen, made me feel at ease and very welcome. People giving bad reviews about the shared bathroom really shouldn't be as it is advertised and there was no issues. It was clean and unoccupied every time I needed it. Excellent value for money and exactly what I needed.

Not too much of an issue for me but there was a smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. This is no fault of the hosts, there are clear signs not permitting smoking in rooms but there will always be people that break the rules.

Could not fault the friendly customer service and fantastic full english breakfast and choice of cereals juices etc. A genuine family run pub. Outdoor smoking area with heating was a nice bonus. We were surprised how much Dunstable had to offer with local park and Priory and history and good local shopping. The airport public transport ran from close by every 10 minutes and price was very reasonable. The rooms were what you would expect in a pub, clean tidy and comfortable, not fancy but I understand there may be upgrades planned. Overall we would not hesitate in staying there again.

The staircase was mountainous for my unfit self but staff did not mind us leaving suitcases safely downstairs for the few days we stayed.

There are two set of stairs, I had to use the ones at the front when I arrived, These are steep, straight-up, and quite deadly stairs (a bit like all the ones in most places in Amsterdam) - but luckily only just one flight to get to the 1st floor. The next day it was OK to use the stairs at the back which are quite normal and fine. I think I was just unlucky because there was a function in the pub when I arrived (which I presume is not normal).

Second time staying here. Everything was spotless, the bed is comfortable, you get tea/coffee, water and biscuits in the room, the breakfast is delicious and the staff are always brilliant. The owner always chats to you and makes you feel welcome. Checking in is very easy, you just go to the left hand side of the bar and there is free parking at the back of the garden with access straight to the rooms. I love staying here.

Staff really friendly, room clean and beds comfortable

We stayed on a very hot day so needed the windows open. The Pheasant Inn is on the main road, which makes it easy to find and convenient from the motorway however, the traffic noise was loud, throughout the night. Obviously, this is not something the Pheasant Inn can change but, if you are a light sleeper, this may cause an issue.

Really friendly staff and breakfast eggs cooked to order (rather then all dried up like many hotels) Rooms aren't posh, but really clean and beds and linen were very comfy. Great value and I'd definitely stay here again.

It's a little tight getting to the room if you have cases as stairwell, swing doors make it a bit tricky, but it's no big problem.

We stayed here whilst visiting family. So we checked in late. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cosey and warm and very clean. Everything we needed for a reasonable price and our van was safely parked at the back of the pub free of charge. Wonderful breakfast cooked by staff who used quality ingredients and certainly professional and speedy.. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again thankyou to all

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. In the times of a cost of living crisis, it is great to see places like the Pheasant Inn Dunstable providing accomodation at an affordable price.
