Not being a 100% sure on what to expect, I bought a small fresh loaf and butter from the bakers in Llandeilo, but the host provided a fine continental breakfast with extra items also, which would've been fine for me. I was certainly made welcome by the host. Lovely clean & comfortable, quiet house, with WIFI and TV, and parking available. My collie was also made very welcome. The location was perfect for the Brecon Beacons, and the small town of Llandeilo only a mile away had all the amenities I could wish for.

There was nothing I didn't like about this property, owner or location. I would highly recommend staying here!

we travelled with friends and booked two garden view rooms - same details/price for both but quite different in size and amenity. Our friends' room was larger with a fridge and huge widescreen TV, we had no fridge and a monitor sized TV. The room was still spacious and the bathroom was good. It was nice to have sitting options outside and in for socialising and meeting other guests staying as well - it seemed more like a large hostel than a B&B, with communal areas and a help-yourself breakfast. There was a large kitchen we could have used if we had wanted to eat in, but luckily found an open restaurant nearby for dinner.

The bed was quite soft and seemed narrow - probably a double. We enjoyed sitting outside, but the lawns hadn't been mowed for a while, so it looked unkempt. Parking - there were no instructions about where to park, we just hoped that we were in the right place. I had sent a message a few days earlier requesting some information about local restaurant options, or alternatively the kitchen facilities, but got no reply.

Stayed in the family room. It was really two rooms with a bathroom. One double room and another with two single beds. It was large and spacious, perfect for myself, husband and two children. The facilities were fantastic and everything that we needed was available. The kitchen facilities were great and the food was well stocked for breakfast. There were fresh towels and clean bedding, with plenty of spares if needed. Lovely and clean with a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities in the rooms.

It was tricky to find. Well we found it OK, but couldn't tell it was the place and spent a long time wondering around in the dark, hoping we weren't traipsing around someone's houze/garden. There were no signs, but the gate did say the name of the place but it was pitch black and pouring with rain. On the email from booking. Com it gave us a pin code, we found the box but the code didn't work. We couldn't get hold of the owners, tried the number, left a voicemail. Finally we tried one of the many doors an dit was open, we found some peoe who happened to be staying there too and said their was one room free, which must be ours. Turns out they were correct, but it was a complicated way to book in.

we used this place as a stop off whilst on our way to west wales coast to meet friends. it was perfect for what we needed. we arrived quite late which wasn’t a problem and the property was easy to find and easy access. a great room and comfortable bed. we left quite early but had a nice coffee and some breakfast provided in the kitchen area.

the room was fairly cold but is expected of an old building and they had provided some heaters in the room as well. possibly a thicker duvet would have been good

I loved there was a fridge in the room, stocked with milk, juice and yogurts. Toaster in the room as well. Lovely big room and a fab en suite with power shower. Very quiet location. I would stay here again and recommend it. Fresh clean linen and towels. I enjoyed my 3 nights.

Breakfast was basic, continental style. Everything you would need, crossiants, bread, cereal, yogurts, juice and tea and coffee. As much as you could eat or want. Help yourself set up. All available 24hrs. But I would have like perhaps option to cook some boiled eggs. However I'm sure if I'd have thought to ask it would have been provided perhaps. Carpet in room needs a freshen up, but was a cream carpet, not practical really. Bed was quite squeaky.

The location is ideal as a hiking and tourism base in this interesting area. The address is easy to find helped by some detailed instructions sent by the host. Parking on-site was easy with an additional, public parking area just outside that would also have been fine in case of overcrowding. The room was large and nicely decorated with the usual facilities like a TV and wifi, and also a small fridge. Complementary cooled water and fruit juice were provided in the fridge, and because I am a gluten free vegetarian they helpfully provided extra fruit and yoghurt.

No complaints at all. Do be careful when entering and leaving the driveway due to road layout. Llandilo town is quite cramped but has adequate local facilities.

Breakfast was left in the lovely, spacious, clean kitchen and was a generous mix of croissants, breads, jams, yoghurts, juice, cereals, tea and coffee. There were just one other set of guests staying, who were very friendly and told us they'd stayed numerous times here and felt it was a bit of a gem. They weren't wrong. The place feels like a lovely home, with bedrooms turned into en suite hotel rooms. No staff were present when we visited, but communications were good via text and email prior to our stay and the accommodation was easily accessed. Everything was very clean, and soap/towels/shampoo and tea and coffee and juice were left for us. We'd definitely stay again.

No complaints at all.

Nice room and kitchen downstairs. Powerful hot shower. Games for kids. Good communication from the host regarding directions. Come and go as we wish. Good facilities overall. Short walk to playground and Llandeilo.

There was some outdated milk/juice in the fridge. We only found out there is bread for toast in a sealed container, after eating the from frozen ones from the fridge.

Lovely spacious family room with very good facilities. Rooms equipped with fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, plates, cutlery, coffee, tea and milk. The fridge was stocked with orange juice, water and milk. Plus some yogurts to enjoy. The breakfast is continental which is self service. We chose to have some toast and croissants in our room, but you could use the kitchen facilities. Llandeilo 15 minutes by foot.

Could do with the property having a clear sign so you know it is the correct house. Also maybe advise in the room that you can help yourself to the breakfast and juices etc. These are not dislikes I just prefer to know and I only knew due to reading other comments.

Location was great for exploring the area and accessing Dinefwr castle. Very good sized room. Dogs welcomed. Good parking available. Any little problems that arose were addressed immediately. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean. Walking distance to pubs serving good food. Breakfast included.

Nothing of concern especially as the owner was available by phone and immediately addressed small issues.
