Very attentive staff Lovely meal in the restaurant Free parking Freshly cooked breakfast in the morning

-A bit of a maze, we found it hard to find our bearings - No lift, so the long staircase and the steep stairs are a bit of a challenge if you have mobility issues. - we'd booked a twin room expecting the two beds to be side by side, we were in room 3 and the configuration was not what we were expecting, (watching TV in bed would not have been possible for at least one of us). - There were no chair or armchair in the room (no room for either), no bed side tables or bed side lamps, no sockets or light switches by the head of the bed, (in fact we could only see one double socket by the small table where the kettle was). There is a hairdryer and a small (portable) mirror available and kept in the wardrobe, but nowhere to sit to dry hair comfortably due to the only double socket location.

Credits to hotel owner for their prompt assistance and efforts from start to finish. He did best he could to satisfy our needs and provide information for everything in detail. Room was small but comfortable. The en-suite served well for a relaxing shower and other needs after a long journey. It was a hot evening but a small fan was provided. Environment very clean, beds and pillos very comfy. All amenities provided in order. Breakfast was excellent and served fresh. Last but not the least - great location. We would not hesitate to call again!

A bedside table could have been an useful element added, considering there was room in between beds. TV had no remote, even we had not much need for one night. But it'd be good to be provided for other guests.

Location was lovely, situated close to amenities, local attractions etc. Breakfast was great and as we stayed two nights on the second morning, the owner/manager anticipated my request for tea ( as I’d asked for two of the small pots the day before) and bought me a large pot before I even had to ask really good customer service

Upon arrival given that there were 3 of us staying there was only enough towels for 2 but they did rectify this and gave us extra upon request. The room was also quite small and hot with only a small pair of windows letting air in, no fan or air con either

We stayed here for one night (Saturday). Parking was easy and they have a large garden with plenty of seating so we could sit outside and have a drink after checking in. The host which also seemed to be the chef was very friendly and made us feel welcome. My partner ordered a burger which was huge! he said it was very tasty and came with a generous portion of chips. I had the creamy mushroom with toast starter and this was also delicious and well presented. We were warned there was a bit of a wait on food but we didn’t seem to wait that long. The room was was clean and had everything you needed. Towels, clean bedding and kettle etc. It was very quiet room and couldn’t hear anyone else so very private. Included in the price of the stay was breakfast. There was fruit and different cereals but we both went for the cooked breakfast which was delicious. He also brought us out a fresh pot of tea. A great stay for the price. perfect location to then go on a walk to the four waterfalls.

The room was very hot, we could have done with a fan. There could have been some toast served with the breakfast.

Monica and her staff were very polite and accommodating. Excellent location for our needs. Good breakfast although needs to get the coffee machine sorted with mugs.

Seeing as though Monica didn't know we were coming, she managed to find us a twin and a double room. The double room was comfortable enough but early morning the boiler woke us up ( in our room) The TV's seem to have a mind of their own coming on sporadically during the night, this was excessive in the twin room. The radiator in the twin room was right next to the bed which is not a good idea, in the double room it was behind the chest of drawers which meant no heat could get through. If these tweaks could be made it would definitely improve the stay.

Breakfast excellent, served in a small intimate room handy for getting to know fellow guests. Pleasant garden next to river Tawe. Dinner well cooked and beautifully presented. Good sized parking facility immediately next to hotel. Location central to Ysradgynlais and not too far from other visitor attractions. Stars of the visit were the staff.

Small room but functional room. However given the price what you might expect. Main negative - inadequate sound insulation between rooms.

Good location, food portions and alcoholic drinks great value for money. Room was perfectly adequate and had what was needed for a good couple of nights stay at a great price. Breakfast was included and well cooked. Very personable recent new owner.

The stairs to the room were steep but a function of the age of the building, the breakfast sausage could also have been of better quality. Whilst the accommodation is above a pub there was some noise until clients left but quiet overnight.

The management and staff were excellent, their customer service was second to none, so friendly and made us feel so welcome, even the locals in the bar added to the experience and recommending places for us to visit, which we did the next day. The room was very clean and it had the best shower ever. The food was homecooked, hot fresh and big portions and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was excellent, we had "the full Welsh" awesome and huge, freshly cooked and cereals, croissants, toast, fruit and orange juice was available, and all including in the price, we can't recommend this place high enough and we will be returning again as soon as we can.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the place or the people, everything was perfect for us and we have stayed in 4 star hotels that weren't as welcoming or good service as this team.

The staff were lovely and very helpful , beds were comfortable both rooms were clean. We had evening meal and full cooked breakfast which were lovely.

In the family room, there was a constant noise coming from a boiler or something, which was really annoying. It didn't keep us awake all n8ght but did interrupt our sleep .sorry, but I thought you'd want to know .thank you so much other than that 10 out of 10

Staff were very welcoming. Great location, food was really good breakfast top notch.Sunday lunch carvery was so good, all courses.Rooms were good with TV, tea & coffee facilities. Bathroom is ok & shower. I would definitely stay there again without doubt.

The Only thing i can suggest is..it would be lovely if they have deposit box where you can drop off your key if you want to leave earlier. Otherwise, all good .
