Situated in lovely rural location but readily accessible to all local and nearby amenities. Beautiful cottage property on a dog and animal friendly site. Beautifully furnished and maintained. A lovely welcome from Helen & Steve with tea and cake on arrival. The cooked full farmhouse breakfast was superb with all the ingredients locally sourced plus homemade bread and preserves. The double guest room was large and well appointed, very comfortable with a modern en-suite bathroom. All the in room extras expected from a quality service provider were available including excellent Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer and more. Helen was a mine of local information regarding local pubs and restaurants, and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her or Steve, who kindly allowed us a later checkout. We thoroughly recommend Beudy Bach B&B it was so comfortable and welcoming.

Had to post a review as soon as we got into our room (large double with en-suite) as we are so impressed. This beautiful bed and breakfast “Beudy Bach” (translated - Little Cowshed) has got to be the most beautiful little diamond, nestled in the heart of Carmarthenshire. Just 3 bedrooms, Helen and Steve have transformed a farmhouse into a “country meets modern” haven for anyone wanting a “go-to” getaway. Just driving towards the main house, the landscape, wildlife- rabbits, squirrels, red kites and stunning views take your breath away. We were greeted by both Steve and Helen ( and Ffion and Candy the Rhodesian Ridgebacks) and welcomed with the offer of a cup of tea and homemade lemon drizzle cake! The wonderful aroma of home baked bread wafted through the kitchen as we chatted and Helen ran through what was available to us. The fact that the fridge was offered to store our wine and beer was a bonus - something we hadn’t been offered at previous bnbs. We were then shown to our room, which had an indoor balcony - absolutely stunning! Immaculately decorated and not a speck of dust in sight! We were so impressed and my husband could not believe his luck when he spotted the enormous flat screen (that’ll keep him quiet!😂). Maybe my review is a little premature as we still haven’t slept in the large bed or had the famous “Beudy Bach Brecwast” but so far, I cannot fault anything about this beautiful place. I would wholeheartedly recommend this gorgeous getaway to everyone. (I’m already looking forward to coming back).

Everything was perfect!

Helen is a fantastic host, we had a warm welcome with a lovely cup of tea. Rooms were spotlessly clean, breakfast with homemade bread, marmalade and eggs fresh from the hen. Lovely and very quiet garden, the dogs were my favourite. She gave us a lot of really good suggestions, i.e. Pubs and Parks, which we enjoyed very much. We will definitely be back, best stay we had so far.

We had a wonderful stay - Helen and her husband are extremely welcoming and accommodating. The location was great for us, and directions sent to us beforehand were easy to follow. The house and farm are beautiful, very well kept and clean. Amongst other animals they have two gorgeous Ridgebacks. We had a lovely breakfast made for us the following morning with free range eggs from their farm, homemade marmalade (which I bought two jars of!) and locally homemade bread. Highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back again.

Great welcome and ongoing consideration from the hosts Helen and Steve. Quiet, calm oasis tucked away in a well kept and cared for corner of Cross Hands. Generous, quality breakfast of choice at a pre-arranged time convenient to myself as a guest. I had the choice of bedroom, kitchen/diner or lounge to relax, read or chat in the evening. I was also provided with plate and cutlery, to eat takeaway bought from the local award winning fish and chip shop, along with a fresh cup of tea. Nothing seemed to much effort for Helen and Steve to ensure a memorable stay. Would happily return and recommend Beudy Bach.

The Breakfast was excellent. The location was very good for visiting the National Botanical Gardens of Wales which was the reason for our visit. Our hosts, Helen and Steve, were particularly friendly and helpful with a cup of tea and cake on arrival. Helen was kind enough to find and book us places for our evening meals at a busy time.

The beds were a bit narrow although very comfortable. The separate private bathroom was very close and convenient but the floor crossing the passageway was very creaky and the doors were a bit squeaky so we were a bit worried about disturbing other guests when using the bathroom in the night.

My partner and I stayed in the double ensuite room which we found to be immaculately clean and a beautiful room to stay in which was fully equipped with everything you would need. We stayed for two nights and slept wonderfully as the bed was really comfy and it was so quiet and peaceful in the evening. The hosts Helen and Steve are lovely people with a great sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved the breakfast as it was cooked to perfection using all local ingredients, we both had full English (the bacon is phenomenol). We will definitely be staying again and would highly recommend staying at Beudy Bach for anyone who is looking for accommodation that's got that little bit extra.

Nothing, we found the accommodation and the hosts outstanding.

We were so touched by the super warm and friendly reception and hospitality by the hosts (Helen and Steve). The welcoming lemon drizzle cake was awesome, 5 stars. Also, home made bread and marmalade, too......in addition to fresh eggs. Most importantly, this B&B is heaven for our dogs (French bulldog, Froodle). They are free to go anywhere in secured house and gardens. They also explored private secured farm land. So relaxing and we felt at home. Location: there were local Pub and restaurant, fast food (KFC, McDonald) and supermarket. Very convenient. In addition, very quiet beach nearby, and good access to Brecon beacon and Gower peninsula.

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Beudy Bach - many many thanks to the amazing Helen and Steve. Not only the room was excellent (with super shower and the most comfortable bed ever!) but the whole house and the landscapes and views around are just stunning and add so much to the overall experience of relaxation and enjoyment. The hosts themselves are the best - both Helen and Steve were extremely kind and friendly, welcomed us with tea and cake (the best lemon drizzle cake I ever tried in my humble opinion!), gave us advice and recommendations for visits and eating out, cooked a delicious breakfast every morning at a convenient for us time, even booked us a table at the local pub and helped me getting a taxi to the Botanical Garden. We had a fab time and we are looking forward to visit again! Thank you, Helen and Steve!

Nothing, I just wish we could stay longer:)

I was greeted on arrival with such friendliness and wonderful Hospitality, not only did it feel like a home away from home but being in such a wonderful location I can truly recommend staying here to anyone!

If you can say the weather on the day that is all I can rate but that is out of our control, otherwise everything was just perfect.
