Great location in Argyle Street. Within easy walking distance of Kings Cross Station, and a lot of things I like within 30 minutes walk such as Book Shops and the British Museum! Local amenities were good, such as food and entertainment. Better Shower than the Premiere Inn I stayed in on the previous night, and actually looked like it was decorated and furnished better!

I was on the 3rd floor (top floor), my room didn't have air conditioning, and the window was bolted shut... so I was sweltering in the heat.

We arrived in London at King's Cross station so the location of the hotel was excellent for us. Easy access to the tube and within walking distance of a few good pubs serving nice food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room decorated nicely, modern, clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and Netflix.

Would have liked either a chest of drawers in the room or maybe a small table at the end of the bed as the table we had only had one drawer. The top had the kettle and coffee/tea and milk on so surface space was very limited. It was the same in the bathroom, only a small square shaped box next to the toilet-only big enough to stand deodorants on really. However, the sink did have a couple of drawers underneath. We stayed for 3 nights so wasn't too much of a problem, just had to pile our things on the floor.

excellent location - only approx 5 min walk away from Kings Cross. My room's quite small with simple decor. It has all you need as a base - bath room with shower cubicle looks clean and quite new looking. there's kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk. and if you prefer to have something else, there're plenty of shops nearby. also free WiFi which is always good. My room was on third floor, facing a small park. staff friendly and helpful.

stairs only, which may not suit everyone. there's no air conditioning, but when I stayed, it was cool enough with the window opened, so that was ok, although that means it can get a little noisy. If it had been a hot day / night, that might be not so nice. the bed was up against the wall, and with sash windows it's not so easy to get to to open/ close, especially when you've had 2 knee replacements and kneeling, even on the very soft and comfy bed, can be uncomfortable.

I liked the fact that the hotel reception is open until late - not sure if it's open 24 hours but we came back from a football match around midnight and the reception was still open. They also allowed us to place our bags in the reception area after check-out so we didn't have to lug the bags around as we continued sightseeing before end of the day.

The room is quite small, and the view is nothing much. There were also no lifts that we know of, so it wasn't very accessible. The housekeeping did not make our bed - not sure if we need to inform them directly.

It was my first stay at Argo. I would definitely return due to the central location. Argo appears to be recently refurbished and since everything is so new, it still has a clean, fresh feel. The clothes hanging / drawer unit is inspired!

The mid summer British weather wasn’t great when I stayed at Argo. Nevertheless, the room was still a little warm and stuffy since it had no aircon. Had the weather been very warm and sunny, I imagine it may have been pretty unbearable. Another, simple consideration would be the installation of a long mirror.

If you need to be near Kings Cross or research in the British Library, the location of this hotel is perfect. The hotel was recently renovated and everything is fresh and clean.

There is no elevator and my room was on the third floor, but the staff member at check in did offer to carry up my suitcase. I was surprised that there was a big television in the room but no television channels were available.

Very new and clean. Had all the basics you would expect. Very close to King's Cross Station. Bathroom was a decent size.

Extremely small room. Too small for two adults move around at the same time. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, had to put toiletries bag on the floor or balance it on the windowsill. No mirror near a plug to blow dry hair. Bedding was way too heavy for the summer, very hot and couldn't open the window as several flies and mosquitos came in. No lift and very narrow steep staircase to carry luggage up.

Outstanding value for London. Bargain price. Near Kings Cross across from Argyle Square. Great for tube access. Close to pubs, shops, coffee, and food. Felt safe in the neighborhood.Cozy bed. Clean. Modern bathroom. Plenty of hot water in the morning. Treated very well by staff. Recommend. Would gladly stay again

A bit small. The double bed was pushed against the window wall, so getting in and out was a gymnastic move. No lift, narrow stairs. Some street noise in room 201.

Great location. Comfortable bed and it was quiet. Slept with the window open no problem. Room was fresh and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Were able to leave our bags a few hours after checkout.

The room was smaller than I thought. Just enough room to fit our bags. And one towel had some stains on it. There were so many fresh ones though so just didn't use that one.

The perfect hotel to stay in if you are travelling on Eurostar like we were. Easy access to the train station and enough to do in the area to fill a day trip or night out.

Not the fault of the hotel, but the area was quite seedy on a Friday night. We got in too late to make restaurants, but the 'element' in the streets and the security guards at the local fast-food outlet left us a little uncomfortable. The hotel felt perfectly safe, however!
