Kings Cross Hotel London

The room was small (as is the case in most budget hotels in London) but clean, with a kettle, biscuits, tea/coffee and so on. The bathroom was clean with a decent shower. The hotel is very close to King's Cross / St. Pancras, and fairly quiet (this form said "bonus question - you stated a preference for a quiet room" - actually, I didn't state that at all, but the room was fairly quiet anyway; despite its proximity to the busy Euston Road, the hotel is on a quiet side road). The bed was comfortable, and there's a large window that can be opened vertically, and even a small balcony - being able to open the window was very nice as it was a very hot day!

Nothing that I didn't like. It was fine, and just as I'd expected - I've stayed here before.

The location was super convenient and close to St Pancras and Kings Cross from where I had my train. The staff are friendly and helpful for any request and I also got an early check in. The room itself is alright and has the basic things in it.

It is a small place and the walls are quite thin. But nothing too crazy just keep your expectations when staying. Overall it's also a small room but it's London so I guess that's the norm when compared to other properties as well

As a Londoner the room and bathroom were exactly as expected for the price and location. Distance from St. Pancras was excellent for a very early start. Had the pleasure of being dealt with by 2 staff members at check-in & check-out, and both exceeded expectation re all round helpfulness just for a brief one night stay. You get what you pay for re the rooms, but the bedding was immaculate and pure white, the stand out is customer service at this hotel which went way beyond expectation - I would definitely re-stay if required and have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel, its location and the staff.

For the price there was nothing not to like.

It's a tiny but good room for one person. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, but overall it was comfy. The location was excellent, 4-5 minutes walking from Kings Cross Station with several underground lines nearby, yet the area was quiet. I really appreciated the tea, coffee, and bottled water in the room. Jerry was very nice. I could leave my luggage at the reception.

No breakfast facility, but it wasn't a big problem. There's coffee in the room!

Excellent location, close to Euston and King's Cross stations. Clean room with comfy bed. Friendly staff. Great as a base for exploring or gigs at Wembley. Felt safe and secure as a mother travelling alone with a child.

Room could have done with a lick of paint - walls were a bit scuffed. Would have liked more than one pillow each. Lot of light coming from corridor through gaps around door. Only being picky as it was quite expensive for just one night (although we're country hicks who maybe don't understand "London prices"!

So before I say anything don't come here expecting the Ritz. But if your visiting London for a short stay or want a room just for sleeping then this hotel is perfect and in the most perfect location. The gentlemen on reception was really helpful and friendly as well and I would highly recommend staying here.

It's a little thing but a fan in the room would have been nice

We have stayed at this location previously. We liked it before so we stayed again. It was good

They claimed we had used the kitchen during both of our visits which we did not. We were told we would not get our deposit for incidentals back and both times we needed to point out that we did not use the kitchen. It could reasonably be a mistake in both instances but I think its also possible they try to keep the deposits for all guests. Be careful to question your final billing.

Pleasantly surprised. Booked as a cheap and convenient place to stay for one night in London without reading any reviews. When we did read them we were a bit concerned but have to say that although the room was small it was perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable. The staff were great and really helpful with storing our luggage until 11 pm after we booked out, friendly and polite. Would definitely book again.

The only thing missing was a mirror in the bedroom.

This property is a older quaint hotel. staff are friendly. It is on a quiet side street by Kings Cross, excellent location. Rooms were clean, beds were good. They use keys and you are provided with one to your room and one to the front door. You cannot hear neighbours talking thru the walls. we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay.
