The Marble Arch Suites

The staff was great. I ran into a few problems from my formal reservation; the guy at the desk was rude and I couldn’t make my way to the top of the building so paid him the one night and cancelled the rest and ran into other issues.So had to book another place at the last minute. My credit card got blocked because of travel and I had no way to call them. They made the call for me and everything was all settled. The guys went above and beyond for me in my moment of despair. I don’t know why their ratings are so low but I believe I also got a really good price through Booking.com

There are lots of reviews on how bad the hotel is, but for me it was excellent. I booked a deluxe double and there was plenty of room, the bathroom was clean, well stocked with towels and products and the shower was excellent. The air con didn't initially seem very cold, but I switched it off and back on and then it did get cold. The reception member of staff was really nice and honestly had no issues with the room. I am not sure if it would be the kind of hotel for a holiday week as a couple but as a solo traveller, staying for one night, it was spot on. I have stayed at a lot worse places. A bonus was that the room included a well stocked cooked and continental breakfast which was just a 30 second walk at their sister property. A special mention for the bed. It was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, hotel or not.

It does not have a lift, but there isn't a way I could see they could have one, so being on the top floor was a bit of huffing and puffing to get there. When I arrived though there was another member of staff that offered to take my bag up. I was very British and said I would be fine, but regretted saying that! As mentioned in other reviews there is a bit of tidying up in places, but unless you go round with a fine tooth comb then it really didn't bother me.

I was travelling to see Guns n Roses in Hyde Park so just a one night stay. If that's what you're looking for, can't recommend enough. Great staff, small room but everything you need. Quiet hotel so not woken up by other people stomping around at 6 in the morning. 5 minute walk to Hyde Park and nearest tube. Can't complain at all 👍🏻

The mini-fridge in the room smelled a little funky and was barely cool, let alone cold, with no way to lower the temperature. I'm just being picky. For a one night stay I couldn't recommend enough. Great staff, great location, great price.

the location of this property is great, literally a 2 minute walk to Marble Arch and the tube station, friendly staff, shower was good and bed was comfortable and even had a breakfast at a hotel down the road that I was not aware was included.. if you want 5 star book a big hotel and pay the price, but if you want a cheap and central place to explore London this ticks the boxes..I personally don’t spend all my time in a hotel and use it purely as a base

let’s be honest this is not a 5 star property, the rooms are defiantly smaller than the pictures show and it could all do with a good refit, but book early enough and get a good price and you will be be ok.. just be warned though no lift in the property and it is a lot of stairs to climb

The CitizenM hotels are very modern and they have excellent communal / public spaces to hang out, watch TV, read the newspaper, etc. The rooms are very small, but comfortable, private, "smart", and well-designed. We especially appreciated the blackout curtains, which helped us sleep in as my husband was battling a head cold. Walking distance to the Borough Market, it was great to stay here! We also appreciated that the bar / kitchen were open late.

Be prepared for smaller rooms. Might be difficult with children or pets.

Great facility, polite stuff, excellent location, room was really comfortable and nice and most importantly clean (room service provided daily). Perfect for a short or even long stay in London. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend if anyone is looking for a place to stay in this part of London.

Tiny shower door, absolutely not suitable for plus size guests, change that. No lift (but this information is provided)

I used this hotel as my usual hotel was full and this was very close by. At the price i had very low expectations but was delighted to find that those expectations were surpassed. This is NOT a luxury hotel, but at the price it has everything you need, it is clean, presentable, and great value.

Price, facilities and location.

excellent location in busy area, with excellent eating options clean white fluffy towels each day. comfortable beds and nice bed linen. walk-in showers. staff friendly and helpful value for money. accomodation in central london is very expensive.

steep stairs to downstairs and upstairs rooms. no lift. staff willingly carried our bags to our room. very polite.

The mattress in the room was the best I have ever slept on. I arrived before my husband and had a nap and that was my thought. Later that night when we went to bed ,my husband said it out loud: This is the best mattress I have ever slept on. Thomas 72& Charlotte 60

Nothing could have been better.

the interior was nice little cosy and room was small but considering the location in mind it was really nice the worst part of my stay was that my was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift on this property. apart from this the rooms were clean the staff was very helpful, the best part was that i could use the spa facility in the Montecalm hotel aswell.
