Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill

the location was perfect for shopping in Oxford St and a concert in Hyde park. The bed was so comfortable. The staff very friendly. Breakfast after a short wait was amazing with the option of having fresh food cooked or the buffet

one bar seemed to close quite early and the other was quite impossible to get in as it was busy with people not staying in the hotel. We had to get a drink and take it to our room and that was around 11pm .We found a very large stain on one of the pillows in our room. We took a photo to reception to which they were horrified and dealt with it straight away. When we returned to our room we had a lovely bag of molten brown gifts as an apology.

the price of room per day was very expensive & they did charge me extra for each day as service charge ? they did take 400 £ as deposit for each room ?!!

The Thursday night dinner was very good and staff professional. The Concierge was great in getting me a flight to Toronto at short notice. The Manager was thoughtful in explaining that due to reserving through Booking.com when it came to having to leave because of a bereavement he couldn’t give credit for the next visit.

The waitress at breakfast said it was included but the Manager said he’d take it off. We didn’t really eat but had coffee. The bathroom was really too small and tight. I think a gesture of good will from the Manager would have been helpful.

No comments on location and rooms. with regard to breakfast, I found it extra expensive especially when compared to other restaurants in the adjacent areas; piccadilly, Oxford and Harrods areas. Corporate discount rate usually is less than booking.com rate and less than if reservation is made through the Hyatt hotels reservation Ceneter. unfortunately, I made reservation through Hyatt reservation Ceneter using my company discount rate code and to my surprise I found later that the corporate discount rate was higher than the rate I got from booking.com. I had to cancel Hyatt reservation and book through booking, Com. This is just an observation. thanks

The check in has been a problem for me with this hotel. I arrived after 4 almost 5 PM and yet the rooms were not ready. Although the front desk staff thankfully offered me to use the business lounge, we rejected the offer as we were very tiered and not in the mode to Saty in the business lounge. This happened to me in August last year and it repeated itself this year. Other than the check in issue, everything else we perfect. Thanks

Location was perfect, 2 mins walk to Oxford st and very close to underground & bus stations to travel around. Service was fantastic, very friendly, concierge was also extremely helpful to help with everything. Room was clean and modern. The toilet has a high tech system that warms the seat, with washing system!.

Expensive. The room was tiny for its price. We had to upgrade from queen to twin room because a queen would never fit more than 1 person. The pillows and beds were uncomfortable, I struggled to fall a sleep and would keep waking up during the night.

Facilities, staff, location and cleanliness; all staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful

The breakfast service on Monday morning was disappointing - in terms of having to wait and then the table not being prepared as promised; I would also have liked more a la carte options. One member of your team paid special attention to us once she realised we had been slightly let down - this made up for the initial disappointment and I thanked her for her help.

rooms are good and the location are great

Good evening, On check in I was charged £3164 which is the full amount of accommodation according to Booking.com, but what dismayed me was that another amount was requested at check-out which is £3220 for accommodation and it was paid. Knowing that the two amounts were deducted from my bank account, on the pretext that the first amount they work for is a block, in addition to paying a £500 security deposit.

the elevator needs to be renew, the door men were not helpful at all I stayed 12 days I have never experienced any door opening of help from them except once unfortunately I was disappointed with that a lot. Also, the food is okay as disappointing the room food and the restaurant down was not nice. I hope you do some improvements with these

My room was lovely on the square. The shower had good pressure and the tv and wifi worked well. The gym was convenient but very small. The reception staff and doorman were helpful, and the decor in the lobby was lovely. Khalid at the front desk was particularly helpful and gracious.

One of the bar staff at Churchill's was inappropriately rude and unwelcoming. His name was Kaskia and as the maitre'd in the bar, he basically ruined everyone's evening by his (some might define as racist) behavior. This man should not be in the service profession or should receive retraining on how to perform his role.

right across from the park and quiet, very quiet. staff always helpful, very friendly. room is clean and well stocked with water. a special thank you to Olga, who left us a lovely bottle of wine in our room, although we were so busy, we didn’t get a chance to drink it. very grateful for AC as it was 27c outside!

the only recommendation I’d have is firmer beds. otherwise everything is wonderful there.
