Radisson Blu Edwardian Sussex Hotel, London

Staff was helpful and polite and cleanliness of our room.

Room could have been bigger as there were three of us. It was hot so could have done with more than one bottle each of water a day. Breakfast is expensive for each person per day so I had to go out each morning. Would have been better if the second bed was a bed and not a sofa bed.

On arrival I was greeted by friendly and proficient staff. I was a wee bit early but gratefully my room was ready. I was also feeling slightly unsteady and exhausted by my long haul flight, so the incredible Tanvina stepped in immediately to help me and continued her kind and generous service throughout my entire stay. She is a star, and a boon to the hotel. My room was smaller than I expected, but it contained every amenity one would need and is perfect for solo traveling. I only ordered a room service dinner and dessert on the first night, both being delicious and well prepared. The location is 10/10 , with the closest underground station being Marble Arch. There is also a Boots pharmacy very close by should you need anything.

The only negative would be that the some of the amenities were very dusty and the carpeting and blinds were faded and aged. The blinds were especially tatty, as light shone through holes in the material at night.

They need an extra elevator.

the location is amazing..it was a step away from Oxford Street. Primark and Costa were right down the road. the staff was exceptional specially abdullatif in the reception area..very helpful and very caring.. also Eleina and youlanda (if i wrote the names correctly) are excellent in the restaurant area.. despite the breakfast was a bit limited in variety but was excellent in quality and to the point and deserves what paid for…

The rooms were cozy and clean, but they could be seen as a bit small. the hotel is a bit expensive

Fantastic location being in a quiet street yet so close to Oxford Street shops and also the green space of Hyde Park. Very helpful courteous staff created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Very enjoyable breakfast with an omelette made to order and coffee served in a cafetiere (not from a dreaded machine!). Yes, the single room was small and the bathroom compact as others have said, but clean and adequate for a 2-night solo stay. I appreciated having a fridge as well as the kettle.

Small issues others have mentioned, such as the lack of electric sockets and no room for even a small table. Plus the occasionally dodgy wardrobe light coming on if next door banged their front door causing my wardrobe door to open by itself, but I just wedged it shut and problem solved. These issues would not deter me from returning as the hotel location trumps everything else for me.

I could not find any fault at all with the hotel, location and staff. We were looked after from our initial check in to our checking out date and found all the staff to be especially welcoming and friendly. The reception manager was very accommodating and we were made to feel relaxed and looked after. I cannot stress enough how enjoyable my stay in the hotel was, I was in a party of 8 guests and we would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to visit the capital. The location was also excellent.

The location was fantastic for the office. It was very convenient and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Pillows may be down pillows where, while comfortable, they did give some allergies with my asthma but was manageable.

The bathroom was very small and felt cramped. Couldn't sit on the toilet without banging my knee o the toilet roll holder. Was very clean though.

The location of the hotel is very good and convenient as it’s walking distance to mostly everywhere but also extremely close to bus and underground stations. It’s a nice,clean hotel with nice rooms,even though the room that we had this time was significantly smaller than the room we got at the same hotel 3 years ago(and also the room other people traveling with us had this time). The bathroom was nice and big.

The room could be bigger. Also we decided to get breakfast the second day and for 25£ pp the selection was very small .

Location was good....close distance from the Marble Arch station. Room was adequate for 2 adults; a bit tight for 3 people. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We were greeted by Ms. Tanvina. There are no words to describe how wonderful, attentive, helpful, and incredible great attitude she has. Thanks to Ms. Tanvina our stay at the Radisson Blu was beyond our expectations! I am not sure what her title is with the Hotel, but management should promote her to a Management role at the Hotel. She has a fantastic, can do attitude. Amazing experience thanks to Tanvina. If we return to London, we will surely ask for her and stay again at this hotel.

The night tables next to the bed, do not have outlets. Therefore, if you need to plug in your phones or medical devise for sleep apnea, you will not be able to connect, since the only outlets are extremely far from the bed, and will not reach. Thanks to Ms. Tanvina she resolved this issue with providing us with extensions. Rooms are very small.

Its location is great, very close to Hyde Park, with a lot of shops, nearby tube stations (Marble Arch, Bond Street) where you can make connections to other lines, and close to some of the bus routes. Also possible to walk (20-30 mins) to Carnaby, The Royal Academy of Arts, National Gallery, Trafalgar Sq, Chinatown, etc. Everything was working just fine (somewhat hard to find in London according to my limited experience) and everything was clean, and maintained well. The staff was professional. It is on a street parallel to a lane that is lively day and night.

The rooms were really small, particularly the shower, but everything worked well. Possible to find other/better options at the same rate, particularly if you book ahead of time.
