Location was great, Spencer at reception was a god send! The staff were all very accommodating, polite and helpful. Thank you for making our stay that much better.

Not great insulation (old building) you can hear guests above you and next to you. No elevator, so don’t book if you have a lot of luggage (although staff will bring luggage up to your room). No phones in rooms (room service available), you have to call the reception from your mobile on the hotel number, they may or may not answer, when you do get through they are accommodating - you may have to go down personally to place order.

Good pub in a great location with easy access to TFL. Our room had been recently decorated and we were the first to sleep on a brand new super comfy matress, best night's sleep in a hotel in a long while. Room was a good size and very clean. All staff were super friendly and very helpful. Will definately stay here again.

Our room was at the rear of the hotel on the second floor but was in ear shot of the cellar fans which were on 24/7 so there was a constant hum, probably wouldn't be a problem had we visited in winter but we had to have the windows open all night because it happened to be quite warm/humid. Not a major problem for us as we live on quite a noisy road but anyone who needs silence to sleep might want to consider asking for a quiet room.

Beautiful, quaint and tasteful property. Very centrally located and on a wonderful small side street with great restaurants and character. The staff was amazing and always available to help. They even made sure our family was on the same floor. The restaurant/pub had delicious food, including a gf fish and chips, and great coffee options. Just be ware that there is no lift/elevator.

Everything was wonderful. It would be convenient to have a way of contacting the staff from the room.

It was centrally located and minutes walk from Oxford street and underground station. The rooms were of decent size and well furnished for a comfortable stay. The room was kept well by the housekeeping team everyday and all amenities were available. We were welcomed by the staff and one of them even helped carry our luggage to the room.

Nothing as such. However the property doesn't have an elevator so carrying your luggage on stairs might be a bit challenging.

The bed was huge and very comfortable with great linens. Great bathroom toiletries supplied. Really cute quirky room that was great for an overnight stay - probably not great for a long stay. The food served was absolutely delicious both at lunch and breakfast - top quality and one of the best burgers I've ever had. Staff helpful and friendly. Great small place to stay at.

TV quality could have been better as picture was poor. Bedroom was very hot even in early February although fans were provided. Would have been nice to have some opaque coverings at the window under the roman blinds so you could have the window open and not be on full view to the buildings opposite. A fan extractor in the bathroom would have helped the heat in the room.

Charming;Quaint; Well appointed rooms. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Great location only a couple of blocks to Oxford Street, The Marble Arch, and Hyde Park. Staff was very nice.

No elevator so to get to our room so we had to climb 4 steep staircases. Upon arrival, it wasn’t clear where to check in since there’s no official hotel lobby or separate hotel front desk. So we had hauled our luggage up a couple of flights when someone noticed and then kindly carried them up the next 2 flights and showed us to our room. Our room had 2 windows overlooking the charming street. But it also meant we heard a lot of street noise and the chatter of outdoor diners well into the evening.

The location was great, the staff were very friendly and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I would stay here again. looking at the Q&A’s on the hotel, they recommend a carpark, after looking at many reviews that particular carpark has many break-ins, I parked in Car Park Oxford Street (west) which is just around the corner and felt secure.

Not so much a didn’t like, the price was higher than you can book for alternate days, we did book last minute and it was when the Hyde Park Half Marathon was which is understandable. Some restaurant noise bounces up the staircase to the bedroom but I wouldn’t expect any less sleeping in a great location in London.

Cosmopolitan restaurant-bistro feel to the place

Thought the auto 15% service charge for drinks seemed a bit much, seeing as we were guests. Whilst I appreciate London prices are high compared to where we are from (the shires), having a cheeky pint before we left to go see Harry Potter .... for £40 you get 3.5 pints, a packet of nuts and crisps, yet £6 of that is service. I'd understand if it were a meal.

Central location able to walk from Paddington and to Hyde park . Room was very large , lovely comfortable bed and roll top bath. The pub was lovely outside seating and decor to high standard. All staff were very friendly and professional.

There was a delay with check-in, but left luggage and staff explained reason for delay & offered complimentary drink. Not suitable for people who unable to make the stairs ( there are a lot) .. not a problem for us though.
