The rooms were so nicely put together, very clean and fresh, well thought of touches such as the tea/coffee tray, with biscuits and hot chocolate. Although my en suite was small it was spotlessly clean and the towels smelt heavenly! Again there was complimentary shower gel and shampoo body wash. Although we ate out there was a bbq going on in the pub, we wished we stayed put! Super friendly staff…. There was live music Saturday night which we we told about, my room being at the back I didn’t notice it that much. And the view was certain to please as a sea view room. I’d recommend the place and hope to stay there again.

I think the rooms at the front could hear the music more, they do however tell you about this as you book so no surprises, also no on-site parking but there is a car park almost behind the pub.

The room was immaculate. It was a single room, but a bit cosy on space. The bathroom was immaculate, though again very small, but was okay for me as I am small. The staff were extremely friendly, kind and very, very helpful.

My cousin booked the rooms and he was told that there would be loud music at night. I wouldn't personally have booked if I had been the one booking and given that info. The customers in the pub below were really enjoying themselves and there seemed to be lots of locals having a great time. Which was lovely to hear. These days Pubs have to do all that they can to keep their business running.

Excellent location just a short stroll uphill from the town centre, The Nags Head is a lovely 18th century building with a pub and beer garden on the ground floor with rooms above. My room was very clean and comfortable with my own ensuite bathroom and all the amenities I could possibly need for my 2 night stay in the beautiful English sea-side town of Lyme Regis. As the Nags Head is situated up the hill from the town, I had a lovely view over-looking the town and ocean from the window of my room. Recommended and would stay here again if I'm ever lucky enough to visit again.

The Nags Head is a proper old english pub with friendly staff and half a dozen guest rooms. We stayed overnight on a Saturday night and there was a live rock band on (as was mentioned in the accomodation details) and it was pretty lively but with a good mix of both young and old and a good mix of both locals and tourists. Service in the pub was excellent. The room was spotless and a good sized shower in the ensuite. Overall really enjoyed our stay. For me Lyme Regis is one of the best seaside resorts in England, big enough to be interesting but not so tacky or crowded as many other resorts and it is located in a very beautiful part of the country.

It is a bit of a jaunt up the hill from the sea front so you need to be reasonably fit. There is no breakfast option in the Nags Head but The Lyme Bay restaurant down in the town serves a lovely full English breakfast overlooking the sea.

We love Lyme Regis 🌝 My daughter booked us into the Nags Head about six weeks ago and we were very impressed. The room we had was lovely clean and fresh which makes a stay from home more comfortable. We booked again for the first week in September and were fortunate enough to get the same room so well happy.😃 The staff are welcoming and the bar is nice place to spend the last hour or two of your day. Very kind people at the Nag's head and very comfortable room. You book a room at a pub so there is going to be some noice until midnight, but it did not bother us, we actually went downstairs and joined the fun :). The pub is very typical and one of the non touristy places of Lyme Regis, so it really was a treat for us to have a couple of drinks here.

We were on the road side, so there was a bit of noise at night from the street (cars driving by). We solved it by sleeping with earplugs, but I guess it must be much quieter on the garden side.

A small but newly decorated room with a (distant) sea view, over a pub on the outskirts of the town centre. Quiet, clean with a good shower, but no breakfast. Lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Good stop for a couple of nights.

My booking for a room with a balcony got lost and it took a bit of toing and froing by the very helpful barman (the accommodation is run separately from the pub) to get an acceptable room. £110 for room only over a pub seems a bit steep, but everywhere else was full, so it's supply and demand.

Room was clean, comfortable, and smelled comforting - like visiting a favourite aunt! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The water pressure in the shower wasn't the best, but I imagine in a building that old, plumbing is capricious. It WAS noisy at night, but we were forewarned, and the pub are great about cutting off the music at 11:15 and chucking everyone out by midnight. Some sort of mini fridge in the room would have been appreciated. All minor gripes, though!

Really good value for money. It is a locals pub but when you go upstairs to the accommodation it is all newly fitted out and decorated. Very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, great shower and lovely views either of the church out the front or the sea out the back. A short walk down the hill to the shops and sea front.

This is more of a note to anyone with allergies. I'm really quite allergic to airborne fragrance and the linens have all been washed with quite strong fabric conditioner. I travel with my own pillowcase but even with this I had a flare up. Absolutely not the fault of the Nags Head and before I developed the allergy I'd not have even noticed, but just so people know!

Lovely room with a glorious view, and with plenty of options for eating and drinking. However, most things in Lyme Regis close at 5pm, so only the big chain stores (Tesco for example) are available. It is also worth noting, that there is also a lot on offer for all diets and requirements in the town. No complaints about the accomodation itself.

The location shown at point of booking doesn't indicate how much of a hill there is to get there from the sea front. There is A LOT of hill. This is doable if you are able bodied, but something to consider if any of your party has issues with mobility.
