Warm,friendly host. Lovely room and en suite absolutely spotless. Beautiful view from dining room and excellent breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, she even offered to help carry our luggage knowing that my partner has cancer. Would definitely book again if in Dorset. Really lovely home from home.

Only one thing we didn't like was the road to it. Single track in and out. Visibility not great when trying to get onto main roads, which are very busy. It's just where the house is situated so nothing can be done about it and I am a nervous passenger!!. Its not a complaint!!!

Sue was very welcoming, chatty daily at breakfast which was always cooked to perfection, always asking if we required anything especially for the room, gave advise on local eateries and places to visit. The property was exceptionally clean, the area was quiet and secluded with wonderful views from the garden, if i was revisiting the area at any time i would not hesitate to rebook at nettle bank

The bed was set up correctly with a hard mattress which would suit most couples however my wife and i have and indeed are used to a softer mattress at home so even though we slept quite well we did find we were restless throughout our stay waking during the night several times between us.

Breakfast was delicious. Host was lovely and easy to get along with. The view of the garden and trees from the room, and at breakfast, was beautiful.

Tea at breakfast could have been better. I was in the non en-suite room, which is why I didn't give top marks for facilities, but the bathroom was very nice.

The owner Sue was a really nice person. Her cooked breakfasts were excellent, with lots of other choices on offer too. Sitting in the breakfast room in the mornings was delightful... beautiful views of the garden, and woodland beyond. Perfect, quiet location so I slept well. A short drive into Lyme, and I found free parking on the road each day.

No complaints, it suited me perfectly!

Sue was very welcoming and accommodating to last minute changes. The room was very comfortable leading to a great nights sleep for the 3 nights we stayed. Breakfast was lovely, we even had a visit from Bambi in the garden which was a lovely way to start the day.

That I didn't get to meet the dog 🙁

The couple were very accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast was exceptional, we did not need anything else to eat all day after eating the breakfast. bed was very comfortable and the seating outside was a bonus. Plenty of parking spaces and very quiet surroundings.

Sue was very welcoming and a great host. We enjoyed our chats. Sue also helped with places to visit and where to eat. The room and facilities were great and breakfast was lovely with a beautiful view of the garden. It was perfect for our 3 night stay and also value for money with free parking also. We will definitely stay again.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We really enjoyed our stay.

Sue was a lovely host. With a beautiful home and great countryside views in a peaceful location. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb.

The room was bright, airy and the beds were incredibly comfortable, the host was delightful and knows the area well to offer advice on local areas of interest.the location is beautiful overlooking woodland hills. We were able to access all our walks we had planned easily

Nothing much not to like but perhaps, having to drive to local pub if I'm pushed to say something negative.

Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order and the beds were comfy. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Sue and Terry made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend their quiet B&B with beautiful views to anyone visiting the Dorset/Devon coast.
