The breakfast was more than satisfying in everyway, as was the location. We had a relaxing time being in the countryside, so quite and peaceful. A great night's sleep in a loverly room with all the facilities to be comfortable. The owners Rose & Phil are welcoming, and work very hard keeping the standards high, so that guests can have a pleasant stay there. 😀

The Cowhous was absolutely gorgeous - so much effort has been put into every last detail and you won’t be disappointed! Breakfast was all fresh, local produce and very tasty! Lovely hosts, highly recommend! We were able to check in early due to attending a wedding in the local area!

Nothing - the whole stay was perfect from start to finish!

The rooms and building were clean, fresh and modern but retained loads of character. Beautiful and peaceful location. Breakfast was incredible. Rose was extremely gracious, and nothing was too much bother for her. Perfect place to stay for a local wedding. We will definitely be returning in the future to explore the stunning surroundings.

We are a rural based elderly couple so look for accommodation in quieter locations, The owners have ensured the farm has a marker point on Google Maps so no problem in locating the Farm. Both owners were there to welcome us. Philip carried our cases and Rose showed us right up to our room. Both owners worked as a team and served a superb breakfast each morning we were there.

Being positive on our part we were disappointed we could not relax in the beautiful bath. Being nearly 80 we knew if we had got in the bath we would not have got out easily. This is no reflection on the hosts just our personal disappointment.

We had a lovely stay. The facilities were immaculate and the hosts were friendly and helpful. I could not eat all of the delicious breakfast but David enjoyed it very much. I loved being able to watch the sheep being lawnmowers in the field outside the window!

The only negative was the safety light in the ceiling which was rather bright and seemed to light up the room. As we usually sleep in a dark room this bothered me and interrupted my sleep on the first night.

Rose and Phillip were perfect hosts, the room and wet room were spotless and every creature comfort was provided for. A lovely spot , if rather remote. A very enjoyable and pleasant stay. Thank you both.

Sorry, but I prefer a bath and if there is a shower, I prefer sides. Never know how far to place things away so that they don't get a soaking however careful you are.

everything about Abbey Green Farm was wonderful, the attention to detail, the room, the bathroom, the hosts. The room was comfortable and spacious, the wet room was beautiful and everything was spotless. Breakfast was amazing and we liked the fact that the hosts came over and cooked in front of us. Very friendly and welcoming place in a fantastic location. Thank you

The bed was so comfortable. After a long drive and both my husband and I being disabled, that was very welcomed. The breakfast was delicious and very substantial. The owners were very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely use them again if we have need to be in this area!

There are as nothing to dislike. Everything was exceptional.

Lots of really lovely touches that added an element of luxury, inc. amazing bed linen! Excellent quality of ingredients for breakfast, made a huge difference, truly delicious

The online booking glitch which meant paying more, only a tenner but shame to start the stay off on that note

Unfortunately the other guests staying at the same time as us weren’t so respectful, playing the TV in the communal area very loud until 10.30 at night, rooms could also do with a bit of sound proofing as we could here the guests next door in their bathroom.
