We, a group of 3, stayed for 1 night at St. Katherine's House during our hike along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. We had two double rooms that were both very spacious and very nicely furnished and decorated. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in during our 2 week hike! One of our rooms came with a balcony on which we sat in the evening. Overall, St. Katherine's House is the definition of a classic British B&B and the host is very kind. Additionally, the breakfast was great and you can choose from a variety of options which are accompanied by a small buffet. The house has a nice garden, which we could not spend time in, as we arrived from our hike relatively late. For hikers on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path: The B&B is more or less directly on the path, being in close proximity to a main road in Milford Haven. St. Katherine's House is a chic classic B&B, but welcoming to hikers and we can recommend staying here.

The accommodation was furnished appropriately to its age and dimensions. It was easy to find with free on site parking. My bed and pillows were very comfy, lots of hot water for a shower which was powerful. A fridge in the room plus spa slippers, a bathrobe and gorgeous smelling toiletries. Sarah was a lovely host who couldn’t do enough for me. I had a packed lunch made for me (cost £8). There was a big choice for breakfast and what I had was fresh and tasty.

There is one tiny thing I would have liked and that was a bath mat. I used the hand towel instead as the shower doors weren’t a tight fit.

Our room was beautifully presented, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast room was spectacular and the breakfast was great too. Our host Sarah was lovely and went well out of her way to accommodate my wife’s gluten intolerance. St Katherine’s House is walking distance from the marina and the centre of town. We were able to park on the street right outside the door each night but could have parked inside the gate on request.

A very minor point - there was no indication which was the hot and which was the cold tap in the basin and the taps were quite short so when washing my hands I always ended up rubbing my hands against the basin

Outstanding, the rectory has been restored with impeccable taste and in keeping with the age of the property. Very clean and comfortable and every detail has been thought of down to slippers and dressing gowns in the room and a mini bar on the landing. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and juice and a home cooked full English, other options were available. Sarah went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and advised us re booking a table for our evening meals. The property is a short walk from the Marina.

There was nothing to not like about this stay.

It was one of the most excellent stays during our 14 day round trip of Wales, if not the best. We had some lovely conversations with our hosts. They are doing everything they can to make sure their guests have a great stay. The building, the furnishings, the room, the breakfast - you could tell, everything was selected and prepared with extreme attention to detail. The breakfast was also superb. Plus, when we got there it was already later in the day and on a Friday we weren't sure where we could grab a bite without having a reservation. They offered to call up restaurants for us right away and they did get us in, so thanks to them we also had a wonderful dinner at a great place on top of everything.

Only that we couldn't stay longer! :)

I stayed for one night for a treat and what a treat it was! It’s such a beautiful house next to St. Katherines Church in a lovely garden and just at the top of the hill from the Rath. It’s within an easy walk to Milford Marina (Docks if you’re a local). The house is furnished beautifully and in keeping with the age of the building. Sarah has obviously gone to a lot of effort as attention to detail is so on point and spotlessly clean everywhere. My room was just fabulous and I could look out over the Haven at night from the balcony with binoculars provided. This wasn’t the room I’d originally booked but asked if it was vacant when I arrived. Sarah kindly finished cleaning it for me whilst I sat in the gorgeous dining room. Breakfast was so lovely, the breakfast table was laid to a very high standard and definitely in keeping with a 5 star hotel. I wasn’t too hungry so only wanted natural yogurt and fruit and a croissant which I’d chosen the night before. When it came out it had been layered in a bowl with granola and was just gorgeous. I had hot buttered croissant with preserves, delicious coffee and juice. There was so much I could have ordered if I’d wanted to, so excellent value for money. Sarah and Richard are great hosts and clearly care a great deal that their guests have everything they could ever wish for to make their stay so enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate but to recommend this bnb to everyone. I had the best stay I’ve ever had in a bed and breakfast.

Nothing, it was all perfect

We arrived early but were quickly shown to our room despite Wales being on the tv playing rugby. Furniture in the room was matching for the period of the house and in very good condition. Breakfast was served early as we had an appointment and was one of the best we have had in 50 years of travelling. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay first class

If the host had supported the same football team as me

It’s a beautiful large house with amazing “maximalist” interior, very cozy, plenty of space inside. Great location in 5-10 minutes from the city center and marina. Extremely helpful hosts. They gave us directions around the city and helped us to arrange a taxi when we needed to go to another city nearby. There were several options for breakfast. We went for a salmon and egg toast, and it was delicious.

The friendliness of the hosts and their willingness to help. The property is beautiful and full of character and history. The location is so close to the sea and walking trails and the Marina is only 5 minutes from the property. The local restaurant I used is excellent with a varied menu.

The lighting and signage of the property on the roadside. I did not find the location easily in the dark evening and stumbled around for too long.

Wonderful B & B. Beautiful guest room in a beautiful house and a great location having just a short walk into town. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty with cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, juice and a choice of cooked breakfasts and toast. The hosts were very friendly, lovely people.

There was nothing not to like.
