We booked this very last minute as we had to visit Morecambe on urgent family business. We have stayed in several beachfront hotels over the years and this was by far the best. The room was a good size and well heated, decent size bath and huge TV. Magnificent views across the bay.

I had a meal in the restaurant, it was Sunday evening so the kitchen closes early. the service was great but I was disappointed with the pudding, it had been microwaved for too long. there is no restaurant service on Mondays, so i didnt experience the breakfast. There is a carpark opposite, charges every day of the year, including overnight, careful you don't get caught out.

The staff greeted us with a smile and were very friendly. We had the room on the top floor facing the sea, which was beautiful. We had a double bed in the large main room with a separate bedroom for our daughter which was a bonus. The huge bathroom was clean and smelt fresh. The bed was really comfortable. That comfy, I fell asleep at 7.30pm until 7.30am. 😲. My husband sat by the window enjoying the stunning view of the sea. My daughter enjoyed her own private room. The bistro downstairs did delicious fresh food. 👌 We loved our time so close to the beach and we will be back. 😊

We stayed in room 4 it was lovely 2 bedrooms and a TV in each room . The beds were clean and comfortable the views of the bay were nice and I wish we could have stayed longer the staff were friendly and the food was really lovely we had the rib eye steak and we were allowed to take food and wine in to our room. We would definitely stay here again . And to the lady at breakfast time thankyou for your kindness . In the voice of Arnold schwartznegger . ILL BE BACK

The room needs a fridge my kids only drink blue top milk in there bottles and we bought some milk but had no where to store it and over night it went off we put it in a sink of cold water but the plug did not hold the water in the next bottle we bought we had to stick it on the outside of the window sill and hope it didn't fall off through the night . But apart from that everything else was grand .

Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great communication via email prior to arrival. Excellent location on the seafront. Close to station and all local amenities and attractions. Our family Room was comfortable, warm and spotless and bed was very comfy. Fluffy clean Towels, coffee, tea and biscuits and toiletries supplied. Great touch! 😊 I Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return.

The bedroom with 2 singles in seemed a little bare in comparison to the double room. It could have done with a small bedside lamp maybe so you can read in bed? ( but that’s only a minor issue)

We stayed in room 1. The room far exceeded our expectations. When we walked in it was far bigger than expected and had a full kitchen, a dining table with chairs, a couch and a really decent sized TV . The room and bathroom was immaculately clean and there were plenty of towels and a couple of complimentary toiletries available. There was a kettle a hairdryer, iron, ironing board and plenty of complimentary tea and coffee sachets in the room. We thought we were just booking a bog standard hotel room so this came as a very pleasant surprise. You need to book breakfast each morning but quite honestly it was cheap as chips and absolutely delicious. Standard breakfast was £5 and to pretty much double up on most items the large breakfast was still only £7. Really good quality food. We didn’t try the lunch or evening meals because we were out and about but if the breakfast is anything to go by then I don’t think you can go far wrong. Location is excellent- right in front of the main promenade and almost in front of the Eric Morecambe statue so a really good central location with sea views from the room and dining room/bar. Staff are incredible. Very accommodating and polite and in talking to the owner, it was clear that she is so proud of her business and it shows in the standards that she and all of her staff uphold. All in all, we had a really lovely relaxing 3 day break and I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s complete value for money and The Crown would be my first choice of accommodation if I was to stay again in Morecambe.

Literally the only thing I could say that I didn’t like was that I would prefer a shower screen to a shower curtain, that said the shower was a really good size so it wasn’t that much of an issue. The only other thing was that the room needed much more wardrobe space. A proper rail inside the large cupboard and a decent set of drawers in there would make a big difference. I am only picking here by the way. I have only mentioned this because Booking.Com asks me to mention what could be improved! These are very very minor issues and did not detract from the quality of our stay .

Great location on the sea front and close to a number of car parks, arcades, shops, cafes, bars/pubs and of course the beach. We had a lovely sea view despite not being at the front of the hotel thanks to the large bay window. All of the staff were incredibly friendly. We ate breakfast and an evening meal here and couldn’t fault the food or speed of service. A large, varied menu and the bar/bistro was a lovely place to sit with nice decor and views. Lovely photos of Morecambe around the hotel which were a nice touch, it was lovely to see how Morecambe has changed through the years having never been before. The room itself was lovely and spacious and the bathroom too. Lots of floor space and a nice, comfy bed. Good shower. Plenty of plugs/charging ports. The hotel felt secure with the front door being locked from around 10pm, guests were allowed to come and go at anytime using their room key to gain access through the front door.

We were on the third (top) floor and the lack of lift wasn’t a problem for us at all though I imagine it could be for any guests with mobility issues.

Fantastic customer service, friendly staff. The Crown bistro food was delicious and plenty with plenty of choice. The room was spotlessly clean and well equipped including a mini fridge which was great. The bathroom was spacious with a shower and bath. The location is central for all amenities and has lovely views over the bay. I would say it's one of the best in the area, I couldn't fault our stay here and have already booked again.

I can't really say everything negative about our stay, but if I had to then maybe the bathroom could possibly benefit from a chair (room 3) as this would be useful.

The ethos of the hotel was friendly and welcoming and the bedrooms comfortable and warm. The sea view was incredible and the addition of the small telescope in the room for us to look at the landscape was a wonderful touch. The room more than matched our expectation, particularly as there was a separate room for the children, which also included a small tv for them. The staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. We had a meal there too, the food was great value and decent size portions and one of the best meals we have had a for a long time. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant and we will definitely be returning and staying at The Crown again.

The room was very comfortable, the location was right on the beach - ideal for what we wanted and pay parking was opposite and a fair price.

When we arrived we were checked in by a friendly efficient member of staff. We were asked if we would be eating there, we weren't sure so said we'd let them know. If they'd shown us menus and maybe suggested a drink ( check in was in the bar) we my have made a decision to eat there. As we were travel weary and unsure we took our things to the room and got a drink elsewhere while we planned what and where we would eat. We ate elsewhere - a missed opportunity perhaps.
