The Full English Breakfast was exceptional. They also had other options free of charge as well. Very friendly staff and super clean, large, well kept room with plenty to offer. Pub downstairs was great as well. 11/10.

Nothing. this place is awesome.

It is such a lovely pub and the rooms were excellent with an amazing shower. The staff were all lovely and went out of their way to get us a taxi so we got to our daughters graduation on time. Had a lovely breakfast and if I ever need to stay in Lancaster again I will stay here and would definitely recommend The Stork Hotel.

The Stork looks like an old village inn from the outside but, due to a major fire several years ago, has been really nicely refurbished inside - the decor is smart and comfortable and feels airy and modern. The bedroom was not huge but was well planned and comfy and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The location is great, near to Lancaster but rural and with lovely walks on the Lune estuary which has some amazing bird life. We enjoyed our dinner very much - the menu offers a wide range of pub food with some interesting twists. Best of all, though, were the lovely staff who were friendly, genuine and good humoured despite the place being very busy. We would definitely stay again.

A wonderful welcome - the room was beautifully presented and all amenities included. The dog basket and treatbox was a lovely touch. Staff were really friendly and you couldn't beat the location- perfect for walking the dog before dinner and breakfast. Plenty of room for the kids to explore and enjoy the garden. Enroute home from Scotland - will definitely visit again.

Although the breakfast was well presented and tasty, we had to wait a long time for it, despite there being only two other tables in that sitting. A breakfast buffet with additional continental choice would have also been better.

From arrival to check out, we where welcomed by, friendly polite staff, it was a pleasure to stay at the Stork Hotel. Heather, the manager was one of the sweetest good mannered pleasant persons we've met in lot of years, she is an asset to the Hotel chain. She told us the full story of the Hotel in the past two years, which nearly burnt to the ground in 2020 , but has risen like a phoenix (these are my words not hers) and has been beautifully restored to its listed status. Credit where its due the builders have done a tremendous job, workmanship is 1st class, We would definitely stay again at this hotel. Plenty of free parking. The Hotel is idealy sited for access to the Lakes, Blackpool, Morecombe, Lancaster, and the Penines. Food is excellent with a veried menu everything we had was delicious, especially the breakfast. Again Big thank you to the staff, and HEATHER 😁😁😁👌🏻👍🏻

Room was slightly small for an elderly couple, but there are larger rooms.

Super little pub with rooms above. Close to the M6 and Lancaster but feels remote. Nice, quiet location. Parking right outside. Staff are very helpful, especially Heather the manager. She always makes the effort to recall any specific needs you might have. Great breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable and warm. Plentiful hot water for showers/ washing. Always clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Pub is right next to the trail path along the Lune Estuary. Great for running, walking and cycling in to Lancaster and beyond. Good spot for bird watching too.

Nice country pub providing rooms in a quiet location 5 minutes drive outside Lancaster. 10 minutes walk from the coastline so great for a little walk before dinner along coast and back along the canal. Very pieceful location. Pub well run with super friendly and helpful staff. Room was good with a comfortable bed and good ensuite. Food in pub was good with a nice selection of beers and local ales. Ample free parking on site.

Nothing. Pub is a popular destination for food, so consider reserving table on arrival to get a desired time!

The Stork is an attractive country inn with a restaurant and bar and has around 9 bedrooms. Our room was No 8 and was quite small and a little dark being on the road side of the inn, overlooking the beer garden. Nevertheless, it was nicely decorated and adequate for a one night stay and had a comfortable bed with fresh white bed linen. The bathroom was modern, spotless and had a terrific shower. We enjoyed an evening meal off the great value 2 courses for 14.50 menu - piping hot battered cod, chips and peas which was excellent and passion fruit cheesecake which tasted foamy and synthetic and was not to our liking at all. The breakfast the next morning was generally very good too, as were the staff who waited on us throughout our stay. If we had had time I think the location of the inn would have afforded a lovely walk down to Glasson Dock as it is in an ideal location to access a coastal path there. Would certainly recommend the Stork as a stop-off stay if travelling to/from the North or potentially visiting offspring at the Uni!

Room was a little small as mentioned but was fine for one night. The one thing we were quite surprised about was that the Stork is not manned overnight. This means the rooms upstairs are locked off from the bar/ restaurant ‘after hours’ and residents have a key to use metal fire escape stairway to rear of the inn if needing to enter or exit the accommodation at night. Obviously the proper health, safety and fire requirements are being met but if travellers require special assistance to access the accommodation then the Stork would not be a suitable choice.

food was excellent, very well cooked & tasty. Mirror in the bedroom had a plug below it so this was great for blow drying my hair as most of the hotels we have stayed there is no plug near the mirror. Location was good, it seemed nice & quiet even with the window open next to the beer garden it wasn't noisy.

earlier time for breakfast, maybe 7am-7.30am as breakfast was only served from 8am which i would of had to have missed if my appointment had not cancelled, but i do understand this may not be possible due to demand for that time.

We loved everything about our stay at the Stork .

The only let down was the food choices. There was a good menu but the choices we asked for weren't available. My husband asked for fish, unavailable, we both then chose a chicken dish , unavailable, so we both settled for fish pie In the morning at breakfast I asked for eggs Benedict, which was on the menu, this was unavailable due to there being no hollandaise sauce. These sort of things are going to put people off coming for food, which is a shame as the food was lovely once we got the choice we asked for
