Trevarrian Lodge

The hosts were so kind and helpful. I had problems with my phone charger and they went out of their way to help me. They also offered a very reasonable laundry service. The room was very nice with comfortable white duvets and because of the country location I loved the morning birdsong and had my window open all the time. The facilities were great and offered a hot tub for guests and a lounge where you could purchase snacks and drinks for a reasonable price. The breakfasts were big and delicious with fresh fruit available too. The location was outside of Newquay but reachable on the local bus and close to the coastal trail and beach. Good pub a block away.

We had an Excellent stay with exceptional service from the most welcoming hosts we've come across to date. The breakfast provided was beautiful & served in a very nicely organised breakfast room. You were left wanting nothing as everything you would require for a satisfying breakfast was available to you including, a choice of cereals, fresh fruits & juices, etc. If you fancied a more hearty breakfast they also provided a first-class English breakfast which my Wife really enjoyed. Our hosts Jean & Declan were always on hand to ensure that you left wanting nothing & the friendly service they provided was very much appreciated.

Declan is a great host - and chef! Not only is he available to sort out any problems, the comforts that are provided are impressive. As well as a lovely rooms, the bathrooms are a joy and the lounge is ideal for relaxing with friends and family. Breakfasts are freshly cooked with a wide range of choice. Parking is at the property, which has sea views and is in a quiet location.

We had ordered three rooms but booking.com failed to forward the booking for one of them! My wife and I were faced with sharing and I allegedly snore. The marriage could have been threatened but Declan sorted us out so we had a room each and a wonderful stay - and remain married!

Lovely warm welcome from Declan, Jean and Roxie. Dexter took a bit longer to suss me out - just like my Dexter back home! Lovely cost and clean room with a very comfortable bed. I slept like a baby, though admittedly I had just finished working Boardmasters, had been up for 28 hours and had a couple of beers! Breakfast was superb and the team were very attentive and made sure I had plenty of everything. Food was of excellent quality and very well cooked - thank you. Declan very kindly offered to run me to the airport too which was so lovely of him. Looking to bring my family with me next time and will definitely be booking the Trevarrian Lodge when I do.

Nothing at all

The property owners were lovely, so friendly, warm, welcoming and honest. Felt welcome instantly as well as our pooch, Hunter, he was treated like royalty, more like a person than a dog. He loved every minute, clean, tidy, breakfast was amazing, felt full all day!!! Didn't want to go, Declan and Jean, are lovely, lovely people, who couldn't do any more for you.

Nothing, everything was just perfect for us.

5 nights stays. We arrived to very warm welcome from lovely couple Jean & Declan both good friendly. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Couple who were helpful to us because we profoundly deaf can use communication.. Breakfast was very great etc. We had peaceful and comfortable stays. It’s really made our holidays worth it.. Great thanks to Jean & Declan 😉

Nothing- it’s a great.

This B&B exceeded expectations. The view from room 5 is stunning with a sea view. The room was clean and tastefully decorated using the theme of the sea but not excessively. The complementary drinks included tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. There was a good amount of shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion. The cooked breakfast was amazing and cooked as per your order and the continental selection was more than you would normally get! The hosts could not do enough for you and were great at accommodating my dietary needs. There is even a lovely area to sit out in with wooden furniture with padded seat cushions. Nothing was too much trouble!

The location was excellent, easy access to various beaches. Our room though small had excellent facilities, even small folding tables for our evening wine and snacks. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had, totally 5 star. Even our dog Bella had her own sausages prepared for her along with daily doggy snacks. I was also able to rinse and hang up my wetsuit to dry in the garden - so useful to know. We will definitely visit again. Declan and Jean were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was great - nothing to dislike.

Declan & Jean were absolutely amazing. I don’t often leave reviews, but felt a 5* review was certainly well deserved. The communication was just right from the initial booking right through to the day of arrival. Upon arrival, they were very pleasant and welcoming towards us. The property and rooms were spotless and perfect for our needs. The location was ideal and perfect for walking along the coast line. Breakfast was tasty and had everything you could wish for to keep you going through the day. If I were to visit the area again or knew someone who was visiting I’d highly recommend without hesitation. Thanks Jean and Declan for making our stay special.

Location and cleanliness.

Lovely facilities, the owners Darren and Jean are on top of everything, very welcoming and can't do enough for their guests. Made myself and my dog BOZO feel like we were at home. Breakfast was exceptional. We will be going back again. When we arrived Darren noticed that the stairs were difficult for me he changed us to a ground floor room.
