Harbour Hotel

the staff were so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. It was wry clean and tidy. the dove room has a spa bath which was lovely. the views were absolutely amazing over Newquay harbour and we watched the sun rise which was amazing. breakfast was lovely and on our last morning Aaron made us something before we left as it was before usual breakfast times. it’s in a great location m, handy for town or Fistral beach.

I booked this hotel knowing we were going into the little room that was available. From the pictures, I knew it was going to be small but it was actually a pleasant surprise as it was cute and cosy and larger than I thought it would be. We took our dog too and he had plenty of floor space. We turned our bedding around just so we could enjoy waking up to the stunning sunrise and view from the balcony doors which leads to a sweet balcony with a table and two chairs. This then looks over the sea.... it was stunning!! The staff are sooooo lovely. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely happy so the energy feels great. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was the best English breakfast I think I've ever had. It was sensational.

There wasn't anything we disliked!

The friendliness, and helpfulness of all the staff especially the manager. The hotel position and view was perfect. The breakfast was great. Sunday lunch was lovely.

One evening meal taken and not impressed. The, Bouillabaisse was OK but pricey. The Eton mess, was awful. When I said I was very disappointed with it and didn't eat it, at nearly £10 no offer of either a reduction or an alternative was made. That was poor. I didnt ask for one just felt it should have been offered.

Absolutely beautiful! The room was gorgeous and the spa bath was so very welcome!! The evening meal was delicious! I’m a vegan and they cooked me halloumi katsu curry and the most amazing rice I ever tasted! I’ll be back for sure, as I only live in St Austell! 🥰 The owner. Aaron is a real sweetheart and the hotel receptionist who brought my meal to my room for me to be able to eat on the balcony was soo very lovely and kind. I don’t remember her name unfortunately. Thank you for making my stay beautiful and peaceful x

Fantastic location. A lovely restaurant. We were served a delicious meal cooked by the chef Aaron James. Our room had a balcony with beautiful views. Steps down to the beach were ideal.

We booked a small double room. Next time we will stay in one of the larger rooms - but otherwise a perfect 3 night break.

the service from Frankie and everyone else was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble..the location was stunning with an amazing view from the room. The food was also exceptional. As a vegetarian it was without doubt the best vegetarian breakfast I have ever had. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend. We will be returning!

Location was great couldn’t fault it looking over the harbour. Receptionist was very kind like all the staff we had the pleasure of meeting.

Rooms where dated bed was broken and the tv you couldn’t see when in bed. Shower was the worst I’ve ever been in you didn’t even get wet when stood under it.

We had just spent 5 days walking the SWCP from Bude and had booked the Harbour Hotel for our R&R at the end of the walk. It was absolutely perfect - most comfortable bed on our trip, beautiful balcony overlooking the Harbour, excellent location (we went up to the headland to watch sunrise/sunset and swim at sunrise at Little Fistral - ideal for dog walk too), amazing breakfast - very accommodating and lovely dinner.

Moaners' reviews..... some people just moan - couple next to us at dinner not one good thing to say about anything. I can't find anything to fault - I liked everything about our stay and so did the dog :)

location and the view was superb. Staff really nice n friendly. breakfast was lovely. We have a dog that can join you for breakfast but not allowed in the restaurant after 5, we new this so not a problem.

The rooms are a little small. but spotless.

The location is amazing overlooking Newquay Harbour. The staff are EXCEPTIONAL!!! The breakfast are freshly cooked. We had a party of 18 for dinner which was wonderfully catered for with brilliant food.

Room 4. It was our fifth visit and unfortunately the room wasn't as comfortable as other rooms we have had in the past. Also, there is no lounge room which would make a real difference on a rainy day.
