Newquay Beach Hotel

Loved the hotel it is beautiful and everything you need is on the doorstep the beach, restaurants and a gym opposite that you can pay to use Really lovely hotel in a brilliant location

Parking is a bit of a headache luckily the car park round the corner was free but from the 1st of April you have to pay Other than that everything was great would definitely stay again

The staff were, without exception, friendly, pleasant and professional. They really made me feel welcome and looked after. When I originally looked at the Restaurant Menu, I thought that I wouldn't be able to eat any of the main courses, as none appeared to be gluten or dairy free, therefore I ate out on the first night. On the second night, it was pouring with rain, so I thought it was worth an ask! The Restaurant Manager checked my requirements carefully and the Chef was able to adapt any of the main courses to suit my dietary requirements and produced an exquisite meal. I wish I had checked sooner!

I had a single room which was perfectly fine, except for the strange sink set up. The sink was a very small one, inset into the top of the toilet, so you had to bend and reach over the loo to brush your teeth. I found this quite difficult as I have had cancer surgery which made this uncomfortable (to be fair, I didn't complain as I knew that the hotel was full and so there wouldn't be much that anyone could do). It was also not nice filling your kettle and getting your drinking water from the loo! This was the only thing that I didn't like about the hotel and might make me think twice about going again.

The staff smiled and made you welcome nothing was to much trouble The hotel decor was clean and fresh and comfortable. The room we had was deluxe double with balcony and sea view and large bathroom excellent. Refreshments in room refilled every day plus free water for drinks and they used a Cornwall company good to use local products. Breakfast good quality and we had an excellent meal in the restaurant which we pre booked before arriving Worth booking car parking space good value. Will recommend to friends going to Newquay.

Seagulls nothing you can do about them good job there's are car wash up the road. We have nothing to dislike

Absolutely superb breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful. I got an unexpected room upgrade. There was a fan in the room - without that it would have been sweltering. Good location near the beach and public transport but the town centre within just a few minutes' walk.

Nothing major at all - a light switch near the bed would have been handy. The first day I'd put a do not disturb sign on the door when I was out (personal preference) but a staff member went in anyway. I normally also tell reception but forgot. Music in the restaurant at breakfast / seating areas was quite loud and fast pop type songs - not my personal preference.

My stay at Newquay Beach Hotel was fantastic. The staff all had the highest standard of customer service I've seen, all so helpful and friendly and welcoming. I accidentally left my laptop charger in the room - was collected and returned quickly and efficiently. The restaurant was closed for dinner during the week and the bar staff went above and beyond to make some recommendations for me. The room was lovely, not massive but I wasn't there for the room - the BEACH. A quick not even 5min walk had me swimming on the Great Western Beach, and great connections to coastal walks north and south.

The Newquay beach hotel was a really great place to stay, the double room was smaller than I expected but it had enough space for a couple for 3 days to be comfortable enough. The bed weren't that comfortable for my other half but I deemed it as fine! The staff were really polite and hard working, i found it a joy to stay there if I'm honest. The parking bay allocated was always taken by someone else but it must be hard to manage in a busy high street, the hotel always found a solution for us. The breakfast was lovely, we had it once as we went out early other days and had a bite but it was worth £15.00 each. Communication when booking the hotel was great, I spoke to Lucy a lot who was really helpful in getting our stay how we wanted it ( I had to change rooms dates etc) all in all, a seamless and great place to stay in Newquay, I would recommend.

Overall late at night newquay does become a bit lively, we noticed some anti social behaviour which left us feeling a need to not want to wander around after sunset, apart from that the beach is really good, hotel and overall a good place.

The location is excellent, everything within walking distance. The initial impression of the hotel is smart, in the reception area and the lounge/dining area. When you leave these reception areas the hotel looks and feels tired, and I was surprised that there was no lift, which restricts certain people from being able to stay. I was gifted an upgrade to my booked room, which I am extremely grateful for, but even so the room was not airy, and the bed was definitely uncomfortable. However, for a first time away on my own, the reception staff, and daytime staff in the lounge/bar area, were so supportive and friendly, that they made my stay far more enjoyable. The evening barman was not easy to get along with, but maybe he is shy of single women.

I only stayed for Monday and Tuesday so I couldn't eat in the hotel in the evening, which was a shame, as I would have preferred to. I hadn't booked breakfast so I cannot comment on the food in general. As stated previously, I found the bed uncomfortable and the room was noisy, until late at night, with outside activities

The staff were really helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Best thing about the hotel! Then the location. The coffee and breakfast was also spot on and always served with a smile :)

The room was never turned down the 4 nights of my stay. I guess I was leaving the room at odd times but I think they just didn't bother. The bathroom was cleaned and fresh towels left on occassion, but who doesn't like getting into a turned down bed every night. Also, the lights and switches in the room just made no sense - so it was full on or nothing at all...small problem just strange.

I went alone and spent my birthday weekend and stayed at Newquay beach hotel. The staff were amazing, to be honest it been a while that I have seen staff with such impeccable customer focus, friendly, helpful. They made an effort and but a banner and balloons on my birthday. At the restaurant I had dessert which was delicious. they went the extra mile. Cant fault the service, and room. Only there is no lifts in the hotel, but I stayed on the 1st floor, however the staff were only to ready and offered to help with my luggage. I would definitely go back. Keep up the very good work and standard.

The staff were lovely, very polite, professional, happy and couldn’t do enough for you. Room was very tastefully decorated and the shower room was stunning. Good water pressure even on the top floor, double shower head and lovely toiletries. The cleaning staff gave the room the extra touches, towels made into hearts. Breakfast was lovely, best poached eggs, and again nothing too much trouble if you only want certain items.

These aren’t dislikes, these are just suggestions or facts. the hotel have tried to get as much parking as possible..but there isn’t enough and the car park round the corner fills up quickly too. our sink was small so the kettle wouldn’t fit under so a jug may help, and we needed to ask for a couple of glasses (most older folk are on a few pills they need to take 😂)
