Little kitchenette is well equipped. Comfortable mattresses. Room is very spacious. Blackout curtains. Short walk from cathedral. Free parking space. Lovely cleaning lady.

1. Saturday night the disco in the pub was on until 2am, very noisy music and public. We had a sleepless night. But it could be good if you want to participate. 2. If you walk to the cathedral or town centre, you need to cross unregulated roads on roundabout with fast traffic. 3. There is no towel dryer in the bathroom, and no furniture to place them in the room under aicon to dry. So on the second day we had to use wet towels.

Good value studio apartment with free parking within walking distance of town centre. Compact but had everything we needed - comfy bed, plenty of hanging space, iron, tv, Wi-Fi, modern en suite with good shower, plenty of mirrors, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker. Bread, milk, oj, butter, jams, tea , coffee capsules and cereals provided for breakfast. Lovely staff were very welcoming. Concerned we would have road noise but slept very well and black out curtains were great. Made use of the very friendly pub bar. All in all a much better option than the usual travelodge / premier inn alternatives.

Really comfortable bed - I had a great night's sleep 😴 Very clean and tidy with continental breakfast facilities in the room Excellent value for money 🤑 Proprietor very helpful in assisting and advice for local nearby places to eat for the evening. I've added photos of the interior as mine was like a self contained apartment building and outside photos available online when you Google it or look on booking.com

Unfortunately the bar was closed Mondays and Tuesdays due to lack of local demand - circumstances beyond control 🙂 on the plus side very helpful in assisting me to find somewhere local to eat.

The room was great we were all so impressed. Clean, nicely set up, lovely shower, choice of lighting, lovely and warm, comfy bed, great kitchen area for small room. Arrival we were greeted by a very nice, polite young man swiftly booked us in showed us to our room run through the basics with us wished us a good stay. Great to have fresh loaf, butter, marg, jams, marmalade, cereal, tea coffee sugar fresh milk and orange juice perfect for breakfast in bed. Parking right outside castle which was really convenient. After a night at bongo bingo went back into the bar for a drink again very nice polite young man served us. We have all said with use again for a Norwich night out. Room 8 Well done The Castle would highly recommend you !!!

Nothing we didn't like. Maybe some sweetener as well as sugar in the room would be would be good for next time.

the unit was great. very clean and modern with everything you need, even bits to make your own breakfast and REAL MILK in the fridge. really lovely touches.

the pub itself is much more run down than it looks in the pictures here, and the units are round the back with all the detritus you’d expect round the back of a pub. the pub is also on a busy roundabout, which was very difficult to cross safely.

Great room, cosy and well equipt. We were well impressed. For £102 what do you want.? Drinks in the bar were nice, breakfast in the room with fresh orange juice, milk and Yorkshire tea bags (the best imo!) was great. All in we had a nice stay and would stay again. We live 20 or so miles away so glad this is on our doorstep. Cheers!

Road noise is present as the room is facing the roundabout, but who cares, didn't matter as I'd drank 300 gin and tonics so slept like a log!

The accommodation was well equipped and very clean. Breakfast was lovely and can eat at your own leisure. We did the river walk and eat at Table Table right on the river and it was lovely, only 10 min walk, as is the cathedral.

Mattress springs were a bit pingy. The main road outside was a bit noisy and the curtains needed to be blackout as the streetlights outside are quite bright.

The receptionists were all very welcoming and the helpful. The room was welcoming and comfortable. Very clean and had everything you could need. It was very well presented with many thoughtful touches.

The hotel is a bit of a maze, i was near the end of the corridor so trying to navigate coming in and out became rather tedious. The room was great but rather tiny. because of this the bed was so close to the door I could hear people walk past and talking which made me feel uneasy about what could be heard from my side.

On arrival the check in was simple, just what was needed After driving from london the lovely Jamie was helpful and quickly showed us to our room. The room is of good size and is spotlessly clean. The location was great and parking was also not a problem. No food was being served once we got there, so we had fish and chips from across the road. You are of no bother to anyone and can come and go as you please which was great for getting in at 7am after a family party. A continental Breakfast was lovely to have after a night of drinking. I would definitely come back and recommended staying her at the Castle. Thank you 😊

We had everything we needed, the room was great it had a fridge, a microwave, Toaster, and we were provided with Tea, coffee, Milk, fresh bread, butter, and a carton of Orange Juice, the room had everything and was lovely & Clean The area was quiet, Please do not be put off as first appearances are deceptive, The chap that was in the pub who gave us our keys was lovely, there is pliantly of parking- the rooms are chalet like and are at the back of the pub, Town is a ten min walk we enjoyed our weekend and would go again.

The only fault I found was no mirror over the dressing table, its only a small moan but something that could be done cheaply and make a big difference.I would also suggest a Fan for ladies of a certain age (Myself being one of them )
