Great location. 5 mins walk from station and 5 mins from city centre. Frequent buses available to all parts of the city and beyond. Very friendly welcome on arrival by Tony, who explained that, as the hotel was next to a night club, there would be some noise. (which I was aware of as the street is the nightclub area of the city). Room a good size with generous supply of tea/coffee/biscuits. Comfortable good sized bed. Slept like a log, waking only briefly at 3am when the nightclubbers went home. Superb value for money.

For me, this hotel was absolutely perfect. The stairs to access the rooms may cause some a problem if you have heavy luggage. Also light sleepers may be disturbed by the noise from the nightclub. But for me...it was just great.

Hotel Manager / Caretaker & other staff hardly visible to convey for any requirement. Already book a taxi from 16,Riverside Road NR1 1SN to Norwich Bus Station. Booking reference : 3895 4239 - - - didn't got any E mail from taxi service provider - - - tried to get in touch for help from Hotel caretaker, couldn't get since he is rerely visible. Booking. Com please provide me the taxi company phone number & confirmation e mail.

Perfect location,, 5 mins walk from train station,,,local too all shops,, pubs and clubs I will return as I do like Norwich nghts out, I always make friends there!!! Staff are helpful and friendly on arrival!!!

Little noisy Saturday nite as its above mojos nuhhlclub,, but if your in Norwich for a night out it won't bother you!!! I enjoyed my stay as I was In Norfolk for a friend's wedding !!! So i expected a sleepless nite anyway!!! Lol It also says bed and breakfast but be prepared NOT too expect breakfast...I went too the market,,,top of row "F",,,Rubys cafe,,,£3.50 for a lovely bacon bap,,N cup of tea,,,best in Norwich!!! Wink wink!!!

It was a decent comfortable room, very central & an easy business to deal with. I've seen much worse in Norwich at double this price. Most importantly for us it was very clean - which is not a given, even at much higher prices. Also, at £61 for a double room on a Friday night, it had a bath which made for a pleasant, relaxing start to the day. It's not glamorous but a great choice for the money. The fire safety and security looked good, which as a developer I always notice. We had a view over the cathedral. There was understandably some background music noise until 3am from the bar below but this drowned out other sounds so not an issue. Ideal place to crash and relax after a great night out with friends.

There was nothing really wrong at this price. If it had been £121 and not £61 I would probably find things, but it was one of the cheapest possible rooms short of a private house spare room or much lower-rated stay somewhere unattractive or not central. There was a little noise from the corridors from the inevitable partiers and early leavers (just take earplugs everywhere!), but same as anywhere really - even in the £200-500 band - and there was no excessive noise from other rooms, considering it's an older building. If they wanted to improve, dimmable lighting & more soft-lighting options would be very cheap upgrades that would lift the place.

The location was good, very central. Breakfast was not included, but the Queen of Iceni opens at 8.

The stairs were very steep, which was not a problem for me. Not suitable for someone elderly or with small children. Also there was no separate fire escape route. The single staircase applied for both normal and emergency exit. The only difference was that in a fire you use the rear exit.

Was close to all the pubs / clubs , also shopping

A little noisy , but its in the middle of the party scene so that's what we expected ..

Well located near train station. Very close to Cathedral and Castle. Friendly host who carried my suitcase up 2 flights. Very efficient heater.

Very difficult to find. Just a small sign above a single door beside a club. The room needed a good clean especially beside the bed. The shower didn’t drain properly, I needed to keep turning the water off. Tiny ensuite.

I booked this hotel super last minute and was pleasantly surprised. The room had an ensuite, a desk which was great as I had work to do, a little tea/coffee station with loads of biscuits (great touch!) and a view of the cathedral. If you've never been to Norwich before it's a very handy location - close to the centre and a five minute walk from the train station.

It's on the main clubbing street in Norwich so is a tad noisy at night - for me, this wasn't a problem at all as I'm a good sleeper (and I quite liked the atmosphere tbh!) but it's just something to keep in mind if you're someone that needs total silence at night!

Lovely staff, great room at the top of the building, small but very good value. There was a bit of noise from the club below but nothing crazy. Decent shower, kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits provided. It was clean and absolutely fine for one night's stay in the city.

I don't think the hotel had wifi (or at least we were not given a password if there was free wifi) and the receptionist was not there in the morning when we wanted to book another night, so we changed hotels. We would still book here again! Great value.
