Revado Hotel

A great hotel with friendly and helpful staff (especially at the reception desk). Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. An okay location, very close to the railway station (a bit further away from the historical city centre but still within walking distance). A very good full English breakfast (and what a great idea to serve it with samosas). For dinner, we'd truly recommend the hotel restaurant that offers amazing food (bonus: great recommendations when we weren't sure what to order!). We also appreciate the environmental awareness of the hotel - they should definitely keep up with it. All in all, a very pleasant stay and we'd visit again.

Some slight drawbacks: lack of fridge in the room; lack of bins for garbage separation (but they state that the waste is recycled so we hope that's the case); noisy guests in the room next door on the last night of our stay.

The hotel is located quite near to the station and is reachable to the city center by foot in a reasonable time. The double room was spacious. The bathroom is a bit small but is kept clean and nice. We had a chance to try out the restaurant only one evening and the food was really good with reasonable prices. There was a small problem with the wifi, however it was fixed once we pointed it out with the receptionist. We reached there after 11:30PM, however this was not a problem and we were able to check in quite easily. I would definitely stay here when I'm in Norwich next time.

If I have to nitpick, then I would say the pillow was so soft such that you don't feel like resting your head on top of a pillow after a while.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and lean and had a wardrobe, bedside cabinet, tea and coffee making facilities well stocked. Breakfast was good and filling. We had to have wheat free options which were available apart from bread as they could not get that locally at short notice. So you need to tell them in advance if you need that. Beds were firm and comfortable. Location was close enough to Norwich centre so we could walk (around 20 minutes) and there was a nice riverside walk just about 7 minutes down the road.

There was a vent outside our window, which was to the rear or side of the building. It was quite warm outside when we stayed and the top window only opened about 4 inches and let in even warmer air from that vent. There was a nice quiet fan which we had to have running most of the night to be able to sleep.

I booked the wrong date, but they were so helpful and managed to accommodate us, however it was a room which needed a make over, there were marks like coffee spills all the way down the walls, but it was clean, a really good tea and coffee tray, with cartons of orange and apple juice, also nice biscuit's. It was very hot but the room had a fan so managed to keep it a bit cooler. lovely big comfy bed, big clean bathroom, great shower. Labels on everything to say it had been cleaned.

nothing really, we did not book breakfast due to only a 1 night stay, and an early train the morning after.

This hotel is in a good location close to the train station about 2mins away and the city centre is about 5mins away it also has a restaurant down stairs and an outside eating area every time I've stayed there's always rooms with its own ensuit very clean the rooms are very clean I would recommend the staff are helpful I forgot something and called them and they found it and called me back straight away and I got my items back where in some places they don't bother as I said top marks for this hotel I will be staying in thank you kind regards Christopher.

No faults here

The hotel was in a surprisingly quiet location. The staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. A few minutes from the nearest part of the City and at most, an hours walk to the furthest. The hotel has its own Indian restaurant which has a good reputation, but we did not eat there, having a booking elsewhere. Carrow Road football ground is about 10 minutes walk and for those that like a decent pint, there's a pub across the road with its own brewery. All in all, an excellent hotel for a short stay.

We didn't encounter anything we didn't like about this hotel during our overnight stay.

For the price paid this place was very good and exceptional value. We were met by a friendly helpful man who asked us if we were okay with first floor room. Our room was very roomy (10) , clean and warm. There was plentiful supplies of drinks and breakfast bars and was told if needed more just to ask. When checking out the young cleaning girls were very friendly and chatty. Not too far a walk into centre, about 10 minutes. Managed to park our car outside hotel and was told it was okay there till 10 in the morning .

Nothing really, would have liked full English breakfast but knew it was vegetarian before we booked so no complaints

This is a little gem in Norwich, which I thoroughly enjoyed and can recommend. Within 15 minutes walk of the city centre (21 minutes to Theatre Royal which I did twice) very clean, light, warm, comfortable bed, good TV with simple but stylish decor. Bedside lights allow you to read, which many surprisingly do not. It may not merit a 'luxury' label but it feels well above the budget price paid. Bathroom is sparkling and there is a tray of juices, cereal bars, tea, coffee with a promise to replenish if exhausted. I did not test this in my one night. The Guest Guide also makes clear their 'guest is god' attitude and has various excellent features eg tampons available if needed. Road Parking outside is free for 2 hours till from 0800-1830, so if you arrive at 1630 you are OK. Or for a day the APCOA round the corner is £7 a day. Norwich centre ranges from £1.40 - £2.20 per hour. I only wish I had the time to try the attached restaurant Namaste which looks great. Will return.

Walls quite thin so there can be some disturbance from other voices/TV but not a problem for me.

Very light and generous-sized rooms which contain fans, hairdryers and safes at no extra cost. Extremely comfortable beds, which, together with the quiet setting, guaranteed us a really good night’s sleep. Big bathrooms with excellent shower facilities. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel is ideally situated close to the railway station and within easy walking distance from the city centre, including the river, castle and cathedral.

Whilst the hotel is vegan, it could have included at least eggs on the breakfast menu.

Comfortable bed, enough wardrobe space, good welcome tray, kind staff. Walk up behind the station not too far. Bonus having the deliscious restaurant (great indian veggie - vegan menu) attached which this time we did get to. Staff very helpful when I'd made a mistake in booking dates & despite not having the extra night's availability there, they kindly spent time helping us solve it.

The room, this stay, was a bit cramped with my side of the double bed against the wall. Not easy access for some. But very comfy bed.
