The staff were so lovely. I travelled with my dog whom is VERY VERY nervous/scared of everything and everyone and the staff were absolutely amazing with him. Absolutely one of a kind hotel! They couldn't be more helpful. They put my dog and I in a seperate room at breakfast time to be away from the other dogs that were staying in the hotel (as they really scared my boy) and even brought the food (including the toast and fruit juice) into me as my dog got freaked out by noises and dogs when I went out. They couldn't be more accommodating. Had a lovely comfy bed. I stayed in a room called OAK and was so peaceful (minus the fireworks on New Years eve but not the Hotels fault as they didn't set them off). When I first saw the breakfast, my first thought was "This is a bit small"(cos im fat sod 😂) but as I started eating I realised it was plenty and i was actually full up. So abit deceiving but great as I ate too much over Xmas and New Year...so thanks hotel for not letting me put on more weight 🤣 The hotel has its own shop (Honesty Farm shop) and they sell natural handmade dog treats, Apple Juice (made at the Queens sandringham estate),fresh eggs and free fruit and veg. The hotel has its own swimming pool and wellness centre. You can visit these places even if you're not a guest at the hotel. Staff on site 24/7, you just pick the lobby phone up and they'll come to you. No phone in the room but you don't need one. I am probably going to make this an annual thing where I come back every year over the New Year or Xmas period as was so lovely to see my dog happy. He would run around like a crazy person on the grounds green. There's even a forest opposite where you can walk. The hotel is only approx 3 miles (I think) from Norwich City. There are also two amazing restaurants nearby (The wilderbeest and The Sugarbeat).

Pretty much nothing. Only thing you could say that was wrong with the place was that I could still hear fireworks from a far but that's other people and not the hotels fault. If I'm also being a little picky then my toilet was abit too close to the heated towel rail and I kept burning my leg and butt cheek 🤣😂🤦‍♀️. Still was quieter than my house. I read reviews online before i booked my stay and some people were saying its dated but honestly...it is not. It is in keeping with its age and character. It was lovely and clean, staff amazing as was the breakfast...lovely grounds...what more do you want? It's not the Savoy hotel but if it was you'll def get that price tag...so don't moan and just enjoy your stay...you won't be disappointed unless you're a snob!

We liked the spacious room we also had a small sitting area in the room which was great to relax and watch the tv without having to sit on the bed! Noted in other reviews about extension leads lying around causing problems- we saw absolutely nothing to worry us and the ones we did see had all been Pat tested! We also liked the peaceful grounds no problems with parking at all on any of the days we were there. Staff were amazing and extremely helpful and friendly always had time to chat about places to visit locally, breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We would definitely recommend visiting Mangreen and we would stay again if back in the area.

Fabulous location and grounds. A very interesting property with an excellent sitting room in which to relax. The bed was very comfortable within a large room. We all agreed that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you to Jon and Tom but a special thanks to Ken for his humour. A great team.

There wasn’t anything to dislike. However, guests should be aware that this is a B&B and NOT a hotel. We had a 6-night stay and only once had our beds made; complimentary bottled spring water was not always replaced; rubbish bin not always emptied. These are VERY minor issues and did not detract from the general excellence of our stay.

Impressive Jacobean Manor House. We had a good-sized room on the top floor with lovely views, though rather steep ,narrow access stairs. Good modern en-suite shower/WC, all very clean.. Very friendly, helpful staff, and decent English breakfast, cooked to order (shame there were no beans!). The Honesty Farm Shop is a great idea, but the pool should be advertised better and not be an additional charge....

Very little! No wardrobe or even a chest of drawers was disappointing in our room, Rosewood (only bedside cabinets) and shower head was partly blocked (which we reported) Really good value for money & a rather grand feel about the place!

The house was beautiful.and exactly as advertised. We liked all the originality of the house. The lovely staircase to the deluxe rooms. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the room was very cosy. The breakfast was really nice and they cooked the eggs exactly as asked. Staff were all really lovely we loved our stay.

The shower screen could of been better as water kept going on the floor when you have a shower. Some coasters for the coffee table so as not to mark it as it was a nice coffee table in the deluxe room. Could of done with more than 3 coat hangers especially as we were a couple but we could of asked! So that was our fault. It.was a really lovely stay I really don't have anything negative to say these are just petty things but it never spoilt my stay we loved our room.

I had put in my booking that I would be late, they phoned me at the time I'd said I'd arrive the lady explained that check in ends at 20.30 and I now knew I wouldn't arrive until nearly midnight, she said she would wait and it wasn't a problem,. When I arrived I apologised, she (Katrina) could not have been nicer, she also explained that they had messaged me through booking.com ( I can't see where messages are on the app) anyway there was a problem with what I wanted but they offered an alternative and could not have been anymore helpful, the room was clean and tidy, bed was very comfy, I got good nights sleep, the view next morning looking out was beautiful. in fact everywhere I could see was amazing countryside, breakfast was tasty and all freshly prepared, ( no hotplates being used to keep it warm) there is a choice of full English, croissants, cereal, yogurt and fruit.

The hotel is in an absolutely stunning area, the views from my window were beautiful. The building itself is very impressive, a real country manor. Very private. I had a twin room and it was very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast was lovely. The place had a very relaxed, calm atmosphere, which I really appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish I could've had more time there.

The only thing I can possibly comment on would be the shower was a little weak and I couldn't get it to stay in position. But this is a small thing for me. I was able to have a shower, so not a big deal.

Easygoing, friendly, down to earth, understanding, very helpful, flexible manageress, responding to our needs with kind sensitivity in a number of matters - e.g. she was tolerant of our unexpectedly very late arrival (unavoidable, due to a transport strike) and was able to deal with an awkwardly late change to the number of people coming to the large family gathering & buffet meal she and her crew were hosting for us. She hit it off beautifully with my sister, whose 70th birthday we were celebrating. The meal was good. My wife loved the heated pool too.

Nothing; It was all more than good enough.

Hotel was lovely and bright. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was available and had disabled parkinv available. The bed was comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was amazing, and we were able to pick the time we would like to eat, which was brilliant. Check out time was great and gave us plenty of time without rushing.

The shower wasn't very powerful, and we heard people walking up and down the stairs above us with their dogs and different times throughout the night, which kept waking us up. There weren't many walking trails. Television was a little small and a bit too far away from the bed. My husband struggled to watch it.

This delightful old property with only 8 rooms is very pleasantly situated in the countryside, a 10 minutes drive from Norwich City Centre. We were expected and welcomed courteously without too much fuss and shown to our lovely room with all facilities. Breakfast is ordered the previous evening and requests collected from outside your room. The bed was softish but comfy. Breakfast was as ordered with self service cereals, fruit, yoghurts, juices etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful but not obtrusive. Although we only had one night, I'm sure we shall return.

There was a mild "drains" smell in the bathroom but not overly offensive and maybe to be expected as we were in the oldest part of the house. It would not prevent us from staying in that room in future.
