Meldrum House Hotel Golf And Country Estate

Stunning property in lovely surroundings! The staff were lovely, the room amazing, including the anniversary chocolate plate and whiskey. Bathrobes and slippers provided and luxurious furnishings in our manor double number 304(4). The bathroom was well equipped with quality toiletries. The small fridge contained fresh milk and water. Our evening meal was great quality and a good price. Breakfast was plentiful and again of good quality and good selection. Excellent lounge area to relax, and the cave bar is beautiful and quirky, Would recommend and hope to return.

We were upgraded to a lovely room in the new annex of the hotel. The room was really spacious with floor to ceiling glass windows which meant we had an amazing view looking out onto the golf course.....what a bonus. We had a meal with friends in one of the Domes outside and it was such a treat, my first time in one, and the whole evening was just superb and having breakfast in one of the Domes was wonderful too and it was just delicious also. The staff are lovely, they couldn't have been more pleasant and professional. Zoe was the young lady who looked after us during our meal and breakfast along with other colleagues whose names we didn't get...apologies....they were all wonderful and a credit to the establishment and the establishment is very lucky in the team they have working with them.

The rain as it came down the while we were on our way out to the Dome for breakfast ......and the fact I was only getting to stay for one night! The hotel, the staff, the food and the surroundings were sublime!

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. It was dog friendly and bed, bowl and treats were provided. Our Stable room was very spacious and away from the main building. The breakfasts were excellent and we took advantage of room service where we could choose from the 24hr, Cave Bar and Grill menus. All of the staff were brilliant!

Our room was really hot especially during the daytime. We appreciated the fan but even with that we had to keep opening the bedroom door to cool it down.

The rooms were modern classic Scottish. Tasteful luxury without being tacky. The Staff were friendly and helpful but not invasive. The Sirloin steak with Parmesan chips and some fancy Paris sauce was without question the best meal I have had this year. The breakfast was excellent and delivered quickly and without fuss. My only disappointment was that I couldn’t stay longer, or get out onto what looked like a well looked after golf course. I cannot wait to return with family or friends

I’m not easily pleased, but this short stay was faultless.

The room was large and spacious with a large bathroom which included both a bath and walk-in shower. The fridge included 2 bottles of both still and sparkling water as well as a pint of fresh milk and allthe other amenities that you would expect in a top class hotel. We ate in the bar where the staff and in particular the bar manager, were helpful and friendly. Food was delicious.

The room was hot ( underfloor heating I think ) and I had to sleep with the window wide open. Rooms in the Stable Block are dog friendly although I saw no trace of dog in the room I was in.

I always stay in the Lairds Suite now and I love it. The first couple of times I visited, I booked a room in the stables, which was roomy and wonderful. The Laird’s suite is also very large and comfortable. The bathroom is huge with an oversized spa tub as well as a wonderful shower. The grounds at Meldrum are spectacular with many places to walk. I particularly enjoy their little pond with a beautiful swan.

There is not a thing I do not like about Meldrum House.

Room being across from main building in the courtyard. It was a lovely room but at -2 degrees the walk was chilly. Arriving in the main building with big coats there was nowhere other than ladies toilet to leave coats so had to take them into restaurant and residents lounge and place on back of chairs.

A stunning room in the stables, which exceeded expectations given the size of it. The bathroom was beautiful with a separate bath and spacious shower. The room had a large bed, separate seating area with 2 armchairs and small table, and a dressing table. There was a cafetiere, which we made use of with the ground coffee provided. The fridge in the room was a good size and fitted a bottle of champagne I'd brought along. The staff were exceptionally friendly throughout and were happy to help with an ice bucket and champagne glasses. We ordered breakfast to the room, which was delicious. We were sad to leave after a 1 night stay!

I wouldn't change anything! The room and staff exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to returning in future.

great location, fabulous hotel, staff were amazing loved everything about it. birthday dinner on a private dome excellent.

only one small complaint we had a room in the Manor House, great value for money. the bathroom really needs some form of table / shelf to put toiletries, and a makeup mirror would have been nice. however it didn’t spoil our thoughts on hotel, definitely will be back

Everything. The Dome dining was exceptionally well done and the service and attention top class [ Ritchie ]. Food excellent.

The buffet element of breakfast was not apparent so we had no fruit juice , cornflakes, croissants. The menu should draw attention to it because when one enters the dining room one might not see the buffet counter. Toast in a rack please not a plate. Otherwise excellent
