Victoria Hotel

After a long journey, the Victoria Hotel was a welcome respite; I was pleasantly greeted by Vyg and shown to my room, which was airy, very clean and the beds were so comfortable. I found the ensuite bathroom to be well maintained and provided a relaxing hot shower... Even though there was a bar and function room on the ground floor, noise was kept to a minimum and I slept very well. In the morning, I was treated to a cooked breakfast by Asta, another proprietor who I found very friendly, polite and genuine, showing that both my hosts care immensely about their guests :) the hotel is in an ideal area, close to transport links and nature, as Asta mentioned to me. I felt that the dedication and authenticity, and the friendliness of Vyg and Asta were instrumental to helping the weekend be one to remember in so many positive ways :) Thank you for having me!

Great hosts. Fantastic location right in the heart of town. Room was really clean and comfortable. 2 pillows each on the beds! Shower was fantastic. Good breakfast. Was doing a road trip with my daughter and this place was a great place to stay. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. It’s not 5 star but for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay it was amazing.

I would have liked brewed coffee rather than instant for breakfast but that was a very small thing.

The room was big with double and single bed in without being 'squashed'. The view from the window goes straight down into the carpark - we could see the car. Good sized car park. Shower was great. Breakfast was plentiful and on time. (When you agree on the time of breakfast, be on time !!)

Although nothing can be done about it, the staircase spirals at one point. Just take your time and hold onto the bannister !

Comfortable bed, open window/fresh air, newly renovated shower room, fridge in room, lots of sockets, TV, spotlessly clean, provision of tea/coffee in room., brilliant central convenient location,

Fabulous interior,love the 1800s look of the place and it's history, delight to enjoy the stay in this place once a bicycle stop of the past.Enjoyable fried breakfast too.100 yards from bus stop and local restaurants

Everything good.

One of the single bed's side wooden rails was broken, and it was not very comfortable to sleep, the pillows and bedsheets are quite old and would benefit from an upgrade.

The location of the hotel is excellent - just in the centre of Blairgowrie with all amenities nearby. It’s also has a lot of possibilities for nice walks. I walked a lot alongside of the river Ericht which was beautiful. There’s a Cateran trail for more adventurous walkers and a lot of cycling possibilities. My hosts were incredibly friendly and hopeful. I arrived earlier but my room was already ready for me. They also kept my bag at the reception till I was ready to live the town. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. It was a lot of sanitisers around, good social distancing and I felt very safe during my stay. I will strongly recommend this hotel to everybody and will stay again.

Nothing, I liked everything.

We arrived in our bikes soaking wet and were helped in every way from carrying our panniers, drying our bikes and shoes out and helping us with our wet clothes! They went above and beyond to help us! Thankyou!

Spacious rooms with large windows. the welcoming snacks were a wonderful addition. Really generous and delicious breakfast.

The property does not have it’s own parking.

Warm welcome. Spacious beds. Private bar and pool table. Right next to town green, beautiful bridge and weir with a lovely riverside woodland walk.
