Barton Manor Hotel & Spa; BW Signature Collection

This Hotel exceeded our expectations with the facilities on offer, and the friendliness and politeness of the staff who were on hand to assist us with whatever needs we had. The Room was very well appointed with a very comfortable bed, and offered a fitted unit for tea coffee facilites etc. The Bathroom had a spacious walk in Shower. The food was excellent and a good menu to choose from each evening in the Restaurant, which overlooked the Garden. Breakfast was served informally with a Self Service Buffet. The gardens were attractively laid out, and good for a short relaxing stroll in them. A very well equipped spa was provided, with a beautiful swimming pool which we unfortunately did not use.

First walked in and the smell was beautiful, the staff were very attentive the whole place was spotless, the rooms were comfortable, Beautiful Garden, and excellent food, very pleased with the pool area, but best of all was my full body and first ever massage I am a right leg amputee and 'Grace' was very professional and caring did not make me feel uncomfortable ever. Could of fallen asleep at any point my back feels a little better and the aches in my legs have subsided thanks to her she deserves 5 stars alone.

Only that there wasn't a shop close by. But that nothing negative about the hotel as the had plenty to provide with my own coffee machines in my room milk and ice cupboard on my floor and restaurant with bar down stairs 👌

The staff were great , the service was excellent the way we booked in and the amenities were open until late where exceptional .

The breakfast wasn't great but my recommendations were sent in to the cook. Tomatoes cut length ways and not as you would on a breakfast. Sausages were under cooked . Black pudding was only cooked on one side. Beans came out in ramekin which had a skin layer over the top. Expensive jams and other items you could really see that the hotel was trying to impress, shame the cook didn't know how to use their kitchen effectively.

Customer service was brilliant they couldnt do enough. We had a friendly welcome at reception, and staff at the Walled Garden restaurant were very attentive and polite !! It really makes your stay when the staff look after you and seem to enjoy doing their job nothing was too much hassle for them. Our bedroom was lovely clean and big, we all had a brilliant night sleep. Clean bathroom and facilities kettle hairdryer iron iron board . Robes and towels. Tea coffee biscuits. Espresso machine in the room., the food in the restaurant was gorgeous and not too overpriced either. I would definitely recommend this hotel , we all said we were going to visit again !

The only thing that I can pick at, is we had a drink in the sun when we first got there in the lovely garden (trying to make the last of the sunshine before it disappeared for the day) and a waiter or manager came over to tell us that there for an event on at 4pm and he was giving us a heads up (basically asking us to move . But in my eyes we had paid too to use the whole hotel and where we enjoying the garden? Obviously, nothing the staff member could of done he was very polite about it.

Very pleasantly surprised by the Barton Manor. Friendly, helpful lady on reception and check in easy to do. Room was comfortable and clean with plenty of space for a two night stay. Dinner and breakfast were excellent with a good choice for vegetarians plus helpful and efficient staff. Large garden to enjoy and option to dine outside if you fancy. The big bonus was the spa which was excellent with pool, sauna, steam room and gym, if you were feeling energetic! Would certainly stay here again if we were in the area.

The superior rooms are very spacious with lively comfortable beds and a nice seating area. Bathrooms are large and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is amazing, freshly cooked and great quality food. The staff at this hotel are a credit to the group ! The receptionist was so friendly on checkin and then became bartender when we asked for drinks to take to the garden. She even appeared later to replenish out toiletries ! Now that’s being versatile and all with a smile on her face! The two waiters at breakfast were both equally friendly and very attentive. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and return again. It’s in a nice spot just 20mins outside of Blackpool and very close to the M6

Drinking Glasses in the room there is bottled water but we had trip request glassware

Staff were very helpful friendly and polite and welconing. Nothing seemed to much trouble. The spa is spotless.and amazing. Swimming pool sauna steam room. Having Starbucks at the bar ohhh instead of ne hunting for one was fantastic. There's so many plusses. Self service hair dryers and straighteners all ghd ones. Beautiful area to dry ur hair out yr make up on. Fresh cold water drinking fountains. Wet kit bags. Hotel all over shapoo bodywash in showers. Heating could adjust ans habe on whe uncqn. definitely be back

No jacuzzi. That's a must. Heated loungers couldn't see how they got heated or if automatic. No displayed information. That's needed though some info online

First time staying at Barton Manor (16/03/23) and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The whole hotel was really well presented throughout. Clean, tidy, décor looked modern and clearly some effort goes into the upkeep. The room, while a little on the cosy side perhaps was in great condition, comfortable & tidy with all the facilities needed. Used the leisure facilities in the evening and the following morning which were great. The gym had a little bit of everything (cardio kit & free weights), all looked fairly new and well kept equipment. The pool, steam & sauna was also excellent and not too crowded either. The food in the evening was faultless, great selection and very well presented. Friendly and efficient service too. Breakfast the following morning was also fantastic, they took a bespoke cooked breakfast order with no trouble at all and it came out to perfection. Smooth check in/check out process and friendly faces around the building throughout. Only downside was I was only staying for one night !

Trying to hard to think of a negative just for balance but unfortunately i can't.

I was very pleased with the room that we've booked. I really liked the welcoming atmosphere. Both the room and bathroom were modern, spacious and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the king suite offered generous space for a family of 3. We did not have the chance to try the food in the restaurant. Perhaps next time. Helpful and kind staff in Reception. They were happy to accommodate our requests. Generous parking area. Good spa & leisure facilities. The communal changing room is absolutely fine as there are closed shower cubicles and changing booths. The complimentary bathrobes, slippers, sweets & bottles of water in the room were a very nice touch. Thank you!

A well lit, large, accessible and secure car park. Efficient check-in. Comfortable, airy room. Welcoming and friendly waiting staff served a better than average evening meal. Slept well and awoke refreshed.

Over £7.00 a pint! Breakfast service not as good as the preceding evening, Table not ready despite arriving at booked time. Tepid, gritty coffee. Assumption that I would 'help myself to the cold continental buffet' led to an inordinate 25 minute wait for scrambled eggs which left me twiddling thumbs.
